Location Location Location!!! It was in a nice and quiet neighborhood and we felt safe at least after getting settled in. The owner lady was really excited when she found out that even though we were Americans we could speak Spanish with her. Definitely felt safe from outsiders since you had to pass through three locked doorways to get into your room.
There were definitely bugs in the room. The guy that checked us in was definitely tweaking and couldn't follow the lines on the paper to tell us what information went on what line of their check in book and then couldn't even read the wifi password but we helped him out. Yeah he was struggling big time. It was also really hard to poop because the seat was directly in front of a wall so unless you're a really small person like a kid it could get difficult at times. At least they didn't give crummy toilet paper.
Dont stay here!! There is a crazy old lady living there and starts yelling when you try to use the kitchen or do anything she doesnt like. She is rude, paranoid and crazy. She told us to get out and call the police because we wanted to use the kitchen. Then we were put in an upstairs room where she cant see us. Room is dirty, you cant find any staff to help you with anything, location is 25 minutes walk to metro and there are bugs in the room. Everything ok for this price but the attitude is unacceptable. Nobody said even sorry because of that crazy grandma. They tell us we shouldnt go downstairs and 2 days later owner texts us rudely"are you thinking of paying me?" How can we pay if nobody is around and we cant go downstairs because of that crazy. Anyway pay a little extra and be treated like human.
