Pros: Great people , very warm and kind - Beautiful location - ❤️
Pros: Very comfortable and coZy, staff was friendly and breakfast was great.
Pros: Breakfast was good but limited menu selection. Fresh fruit every day was excellent. Hosts are very accommodating and go out of their way to satisfy. Location very convenient to central Vermont.
Cons: Steps between the bed and the bathroom are tricky to navigate in the dark in the middle of the night.
Pros: The breakfast was great. Some mornings I wanted a continental breakfast and sometimes a cooked breakfast. We were given a room upgrade which was great.
Cons: For the price, no complaints.
Pros: Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly

Featured amenities include multilingual staff, a library, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The walnut waffle breakfast was outstanding!
Cons: It was a cold night and our room had no heat. Thankfully we were able to use all blankets and stayed somewhat warm. The next morning showering and dressing was very chilly.
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Arrived just in time to participate in their monthly five course dinner and wine tasting. Fantastic night!
Pros: Quite, Clean, Traditional Vermont Inn Experience. Service down home warm and friendly. Food is outstanding! Ben's Room is enormous with a king bed, TV, fireplace, and hottub.
Cons: Bathroom was pubpar...and also don't expect traditional bath amenities (soap, etc are in a wall dispenser - very eco).
Pros: Great location and setting. Wonderful breakfasts and restaurant. Highly recommend chef’s tasting dinner! Close to Killington‘ sparks and ski areas. Enjoyed hot tub and fire pit on grounds. Staff were friendly and informative .
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. The gas fireplace did a great job heating up the room when it was sub-freezing temps outside. Breakfast in morning kept us full that we often skipped lunch to have more time to ski on the nearby slopes. Very convenient location to get to Killington. Would definitely stay again!
Pros: The weekend was very cold and we got 19 inches of snow while we were there! The inn is extremely cozy with fireplaces, comfortable couches and a lovely restaurant. The food is spectacular. The inn keepers are so kind and extremely attentive to your needs.
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like. It was a great experience.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and the breakfast quite good. The grounds are very nice. It was conveniently located to Rutland VT
Cons: The room configuration was the oddest we have ever stayed in. One went up a steep, narrow staircase to the room. The room itself was fine but the bathroom was three steps up and quite small. The only place to hang clothes was just outside the shower. Our dress clothes got a little wet. Anyone over 5'7" would hit their head on the way down.
Pros: Great breakfast so friendly great experience Perfect
Cons: Only stayed one night
Pros: I was an absolutely perfect bed and breakfast. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Since there are no TV’s in the rooms, you come down to the common area and get to meet other guests at the Inn. We met such nice people last week in our visit.
Pros: Had a lovely overnight stay here while skiing at killington. The staff was extremely kind and upgraded us to a king room when we originally booked a queen, for no extra charge! Breakfast the next morning was delicious.
Pros: Very cozy place. Very friendly service. Excellent location if skiing in the area.
Cons: It's a little dated but that's part of the charm

Pros: The breakfast was GREAT
Cons: My unit had a bathroom door that was falling off of the hinges and could not be closed. The shower head was damaged and hard to adjust. The keyless card entry system would not work on my door after trying it a dozen times and when I went back to ask why he said I must have had it near my phone and it erased the card. I am tech savy enough to use the swipe function but this seemed like bs to me.
Pros: Better than expected. Spacious well appointed room with kitchen, living area and bedroom. Breakfast was very good. Coffee was even better. Well stay here again.
Pros: Very pleased with my stay here! Would definitely stay here again.
Pros: The staff was very accommodating and helpful.
Cons: Everything was fine.
Pros: room was fine, fit the price
Cons: The gentleman at the front desk had a problem with our reservation which was booked through booking.com. He informed me that he would need to run my credit card through again as he could not secure payment, I was wiped, working and had a 14 hour work day ahead of me. I went to the room to find that the keys did not work...ugh! Errors happen so he redid my keys, I went back to the room and got in. Using the room for short periods of sleep as we were working that evening until very late and starting again early the next am, we grabbed a nap only to be awakened by the same desman telling us that we needed to come to the front desk that he had given us the wrong room. I was not too happy to have walk back to the office, not a short distance and be told ok, never mind.
Pros: breakfast was very good waitress was very friendly
Pros: Friendliness of the staff was exceptional. The cleanliness and up to date amenities of the room was beyond our expectation! I will definitely be back and also recommend Best Western to family and friends. Thank you!
Pros: Breakfast was excellent; everything was quite tasty. There was enough choices so anyone could find something yummy to eat.
Cons: No bacon available that I could see. Maybe the try was refilled after I had eaten the scrambled eggs and Danish. I'm not a fan of sausage so I didn't miss that!
Pros: Breakfast bar had real maple syrup & fresh melon slices . All the staff was so nice , you feel at home.
Cons: Had a little problem with a sticky shower valve , but staff came right away and got it going .
Pros: Equa-distant between Killington and Rutland. Bathrooms renovated. Nice breakfast. Staff was very polite and nice.
Pros: This was one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. Bathroom was spotless!!! Well done to cleaning lady.
Cons: Not really

Our room exceed our expectations, so doubt we will go back in summer/ fall.
Pros: very clean house! Comportable bed!

Pros: Nice breakfast, friendly staff who did not make a prroblem when we wanted to change rooms as our oldest son (who is very tall) couldn't fit comfotably on the pull out couch. He changed us to a room with 2 double beds!!
Cons: The pool could use some work. My son cut his toe becsuse of the concrete sticking out on the bottom of the pool.

Pros: Comfortable bed, great breakfast, central location.
Cons: Bathroom had a musty smell, room key malfunction.
Pros: The staff was great.
Pros: The breakfast was really great!
Cons: I was on the first floor of the hotel and there was a loud group of people hanging outside my window, talking loudly late at night.
Pros: The breakfast was great and fantastically staffed. All employees were terrific and greeted me on sight.
Pros: Location, Price.
Pros: Everything is great. Just there weren't enough parking spaces.
Pros: Breakfast was good. Plenty of things to choose from. We did not leave there hungry.
Cons: The noise of the doors closing is the only thing I can think of. Beside the people that checked in next to us around midnight, they were loud. But that is not your fault.

Pros: the location, the breakfast, able to eat dinner there after a long day and not having to look for a place to eat .the prices were very reasonable and the dinner was delicious

Pros: Clean and quiet. Great staff
Cons: I had my AC set at 60 and it wasn't cool enough
Cons: Run down facility, window was disgusting seal so bad couldn’t see through
Pros: Clean room and super comfy bed. Loved that the water temperature stayed constant throughout my shower even if other guests were showering. I’ve been in pricier hotels that the water system couldn’t handle the capacity. Loved the weekday room/maid service. Towels and amenities were replenished daily. My family and I enjoyed relaxing at the pool.
Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: Overall dirty. Room was very musty and damp. Pool and hallways were filthy
Pros: Clean nicely decorated
Cons: Pool closed at 10pm :(
Pros: The staff was very friendly.
Pros: It is difficult to find something we liked about the hotel. We had such a poor experience with the humidity and smell with in the rooms. Hot tubs were broken, and I had to insist on my kids meals being taken off the bill, even when kids eat free!
Cons: The first floor of the hotel smells like wet dog, and mildew. Unfortunately, we were placed in room 141. The ceiling was painted orange, which just messed with my eyesight all night long. We ended up leaving the hotel at 1:00am because of the odor.
Cons: It is run down
Pros: The building is in need of maintenance.
Cons: Fire door would not close all the way and the carpets were dirty.
Pros: The staff
Cons: Construction workers that were staying there

Pros: about like any other Days Inn.
Cons: On dividend highway. Not easy to get in and out.
Pros: It has a pool ,and good service
Cons: Nothing at all
Pros: The Ladies that worked behind the desk were very nice and helpful. Close to restaurants.
Cons: Had to move to another room because the toilet wouldn’t flush (which the ladies were very accommodating) but the next room we moved to looked like someone vomited on the floor & wasn’t cleaned. I’m sure they would’ve moved us again but we were tired and just wanted to go to sleep. Beds were ok.
Pros: Breakfast was served early and it was excellent.
Cons: The pillows had a strange odor to them.
Pros: Kids loved the waffle machine! Beds were comfortable and the room was a good size. Coffee maker, fridge and microwave all in the room.
Cons: The breakfast room was a bit on the small side and the breakfast was ok but not fantastic.
Pros: The staff was very friendly! Enjoyed them!
Cons: It needs a facelift the rooms. Need new lampshades. An inch of dust on them.
Cons: The bedroom smelled like mildew. The pillows smelled like puke. The sheets were itchy. The piece of paper on the desk with the WiFi was coffee stained. The leather chair had a huge rip in it. Unsatisfied customer.
Pros: Mattress needs to be changed: big dip in middle, very uncomfortable
Cons: New mattress is needed
Pros: Location is great and nice staff.
Cons: The breakfast time is only until 9.30
Pros: Great Breakfast, great location, close to what someone needs that is only stopping over for the night.
Cons: Bathroom in pool area, smelled of urine.
Pros: I loved our spacious rm with high ceilings and exposed beams
Pros: The pool was open and clean. Plenty of pool towels to use. And the staff was cordial and friendly
Cons: No signal on the TV to watch anyting. We had to hook up firestick to watch movies
When you stay at Killington Pico Motor Inn in Rutland, you'll be in the mountains, within a 15-minute drive of Killington Resort and Pico Mountain at Killington Ski Resort. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Was not what the picture looked like
Pros: The owner was fantastic! Personable, and kind
Cons: When we asked about breakfast which was to be included...we were told ...oh no breakfast at that price The bathroom vanity leaked terribly...
Pros: Helpful, friendly staff. We didn't have cell service and they made several phone calls for us to help get a taxi. So patient and kind - great experience. And the waffle station is always my favorite amenity.
Pros: A softer bed would help greatly.
Cons: Really needs updated bad.
Pros: The room was charming and very well-kept! The host couldn't have been more helpful. The perfect place for someone who appreciates the careful balance between a well-preserved early style inn and modern convenience.
Cons: I wouldn't change a thing!
Pros: extremely friendly and likable manager.
Pros: Nice Lodge, clean rooms, friendly personnel
Cons: Nothing to say. Everything is very good.
Pros: Quaint little place, perfect for a night stay. Bed was comfy, room was clean. Location was great as it was on the way to our next destination. The manager was friendly and helpful, with checkin efficient and no fuss, much appreciated after a long drive.
Pros: All I wanted was a place to sleep. It was clean and fit the bill.
Cons: I thought there would be a microwave in the room. There was not.
Pros: Not much of anything
Cons: The bed has bed bugs I instantly broke out when I laid in the bed , the shower was dirty and the room was small
Pros: Close to where we were going and many other amenities
Cons: Room was nasty, no water pressure in the shower whatsoever. Room smelled like someone had been Smoking cigarettes in it for a month! Rugs were absolutely disgusting.
Pros: The bed was really comfortable.
Cons: Need more pillows in the rooms. There was a room where the couple was obviously drunk. First they asked for a cigarette then they wanted a ride to Hannaford. They fought loudly until the manage quickly put a stop to it which we appreciated.
Pros: The room is large enough, and management is showing due diligence by having installed brand new fixtures in the bathroom. Good TV with wide channel selection. Clean and dry bed. Heating worked well. Quiet location. Plenty of parking.
Cons: The room showed its age and use. There was a strong unidentifiable odor throughout and numerous stains on the carpet. It smelled as if smoking had taken place in the nominally non-smoking room and then other odors were added to mask this. In addition, the insect population was quite robust, consisting mainly of flies and much smaller non-biting insects similar to fruit flies. A bit weird because the temperature outside during my late October stay was 30 to 50 F (-1 to 10 C), when flies are normally absent. Property is away from most Rutland businesses though still in town. WiFi did not connect to any device in the room. It did if I went near the office.
Pros: Great service and good location.
Cons: Our “no smoking” room smelled like smoke.
Pros: Nice TV, convenient location, they made the bed during our stay, friendly staff, bed was clean and comfy, fridge, table we're nice additional amenities, clean bathroom
Cons: Thin walls, no blinds behind curtains, decor needs to be updated
Pros: Not much to like, from price, customer service, free wifi did not work, nor did the satellite TV, and the room stank like stale smoke and perfume.
Cons: I did not like the smell of the room, the people in other rooms were outside smoking or coughing from smoke all night, the bed and pillows were unkempt, the price was horribly high for such a stinky rotten place, the rug was dirty and stained, and the lights were old and dim. The fridge was iced over and did not work properly, the bathroom was tiny and had stains on the walls and floor, the shower was too small, there was no bathroom fan, the sink did not drain properly, and the lock on the door did not work properly. This place sucks!!! Econo Lodge would be better.
Pros: Very friendly lady checked me in. I would stay there again.
Cons: Everything was fine.
Pros: It was quiet, clean and really all I needed for an overnight.
Cons: The only problem was the length of time walking to downtown. Since we aren't familiar with the area, we didn't know the shortcuts, took us longer.
Pros: Right by a gas station
Cons: They waited for us to leave and then came in our room and didn't even change the sheets or anything. Sneaky
Pros: I was impressed with the owner's concern to meet my needs. My room had no microwave in it and I asked if it was possible to get one. An my request was meet and one was gotten for me.
Cons: The bathrooml is a bit small.
Pros: We like this place and will continue to come stay here.
Cons: The room was really warm and the heat was off.
Pros: The room was clean and comfy. The staff was kind and accomodating.(We arrived much later than anticipated & they were very helpful.)
Pros: The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the rate was cheap, considering it was a fairly last minute booking during Thanksgiving weekend and the Killington Cup Women's ski race event.
Cons: The windows were insecure, and I felt that they could have easily been broken in. The room was exceedingly hot, and I needed to keep the windows fully open just to bring it down to a comfortable temperature. I am also fairly certain that the people with the dog in the next room were living in the motel.

Pros: Great rate and location.
Cons: Breakfast was not hot. Only one toaster, so had to wait every morning.
Pros: Comfiest bed, 24hr reception, great breakfast, all you need.
Pros: The breakfast was great lots to choose from. The pool was nice. The rooms are clean .
Cons: The halls were hot and soda machine was not working.
Cons: There rooms were outdated and there was a mouse in my room!
Cons: Did not meet the same standards as other Quality Inns that I’ve stayed at. Everything in disrepair. Very outdated. Breakfast was disappointing.
Pros: The girl minding the desk was wonderful. She offered to go out and talk to the people outside drinking I told her I didn't think that was a good idea , I would give them the opportunity to hopefully break it up by 10 but that didn't happen.
Cons: Too many people hanging around outside . Your door goes right out to the parking lot. I had five people sitting outside my door drinking that woke me up at quarter to midnight. Could not get back to sleep ended up packing up and leaving at 3 I need to learn my lesson that these rooms are $70 for a reason.
Pros: Breakfast Food was good - breakfast room was a little small for the number served. Our King bed was awesome -- both of us remarked on how comfortable it was. Having a refrigerator was good too but it froze our salad
Cons: Our key card quit working before 12 and we had arranged to leave at 12:30.
Pros: The staff was nice, location to my needs was great. Store and Meals nearby as well as gas stations. Bed was comfortable. I needed to change to a room with additional bed, Mike the manager was very helpful.
Cons: The property was disappointing at best. Any attempt at a repair was obvious and poorly done. Could see light around hall and exterior doors. The bathroom exhaust fan would actually flow water out down onto the toilet when we would take a shower. Lampshades were stained. Furniture was chipped and gouged. Bed skirting had a foul stain. Hallway carpet was nasty.
Pros: Staff was friendly except manager.
Cons: Every thing was broken. TV didn’t work. Ice machine didn’t work. Phone didn’t work. Carpet nasty. Stayed there a second time a few weeks later because other places were too expensive and they quoted us a price, then wouldn’t honor it when we returned.
Cons: Breakfast was terrible, hotel was completely run down. The room was a mess when we first walked in. I even complained and nothing was done.
Cons: This was the worst Quality Inn I have ever stayed at. It was very, very dirty and run down.Had a balcony with carpeting that was all torn up and dirty, The hallways were dirty. In the morning I saw a man digging through the garbage cans and the dumpster outside my window. stay away!
Pros: Good location and price
Cons: Room's outside door and lock seemed flimsy, dingy hallways.

Cons: mold in the shower bath area
Pros: Budget hotel, price was right, convenient, fairly comfortable for a drive up motel
Cons: Room very small, wifi inconsistent
Pros: Good for the price
Cons: It's older, which was obvious with the plumbing.
Pros: Nice motel and clean room will stay the next time I come to Bennington. It is not far from downtown and close to many places to dine.
Cons: Would have preferred a queen size bed or a king size instead of 2 doubles. WiFi connection was very slow.
Pros: locion brickfast light
Cons: that i had to get after the inn to clean the room 2 night 1st night sloppy yet just past 3 night ok 4th ok
Pros: It was clean
Cons: Update the shower and tub
Pros: very convenient location. reasonably quiet. acceptable facilities-older property with tired old bathroom, etc
Cons: We were luckier than we expected as we learned this was a property with travelling trade workers--utility work, etc. They favor cheaper properties clearly. When we came back to the motel, we found a virtual outdoor drinking party going on. However, these men retired at reasonable times and were very quiet-clearly they need their rest too, so all good. Try to get a room far away from any business grouping of workmen for obvious reasons.
Pros: easy access good value
Cons: breakfast was ok but no place to sit
Cons: terrible dangerous hotel attendant was swearing at me.
Pros: for the money- great! this place is a winner. beds and pillows super comfortable. price very cheap. very clean and good for a great nights sleep! thank you.
Cons: everything was fine, when considering the price.
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: The bathtub should be updated
Cons: the light fixture above the bathroom sink was very dirty. looked like caked on grease from next to a kitchen stove. bed was made one day and the sheets were still damp. housekeeping did only a surface cleaning, no dusting. bathroom items not changed out.

Pros: Location was good. Everything else was pretty darn bad.
Cons: Smoke detector — pulled from wall; thermostat — electrical tape over it; room — freezing (did warm up but bed would have been very cold); halls — no insulation; stairway — steep and unclean; not the star level it claime
Pros: Rodeway Inn met my expectations for a typical, older motel. The room included an iron and luggage rack, not items I expected to find. The bed was comfortable for the one night. I was disappointed to be able to only get a smokers' room, and the smell was disagreeable. I did not have breakfast there so I cannot comment on the food.
Cons: The accommodations in a smokers' room
Pros: Bed was amazing
Cons: The room smelled like it used to be a smoking room
Pros: The price, but after the experience, I feel we overpaid!
Cons: I did not like that no one was there to greet us for check-in. No one answered the phone that was tied to the desk. There wasn’t even a key out, left out. After getting in touch with a different Motel. the clerk appeared to check us in after waitin
Pros: Standard cheap motel Good parking As clean as can be expected for condition
Cons: Smelled of smoke Shower knobs were not intuitive & falling apart Strong winds blew door open (thankfully upper latch works)
Cons: Dirty room, leaky faucets in the shower . Just not a good place to stay. .
Cons: POOL WAS CLOSED ROOMS WERE DIRTY A/C DIDN'T WORK RUN DOWN PEOPLE IN NEXT ROOM FIGHTING LOUDLY
Pros: Simple, cheap, everything worked (although maybe not well)
Cons: Its a cheap motel, keep your expectations low.
With a stay at Travel Inn in Rutland, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Pico Mountain at Killington Ski Resort and Norman Rockwell Museum of Vermont. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Hot water with good water pressure in showers
Cons: Bath tub wasn’t working and a little far from mountain but not awful!
Pros: Location is convenient, plumbing worked.
Cons: Old, crumbled, door crooked, floor uneven, paint cracked, looks like it is falling apart, cigarette odor, pillows are ok, blankets are a joke, 2 (two) wire hangers available in the room, did not dare to try the bathtub, though maybe shower would be OK as tap water eventually runs hot after 10-15 minutes of cold. Heater noisy. Queen bed is too small to qualify as queen.
Pros: I really enjoy low key, homey, and inexpensive motels. No frills but comfortable. The Travel Inn fit the bill perfectly. We stayed there during extremely cold weather, yet the room was comfy and warm and the shower was hot. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Parking in the back, where we were located was a bit tricky and tight. If you don't need to be parked right in front of your room then there is plenty of space towards the front of the complex. Certainly not a deal breaker for us and if you need to be right in front of your room door then just request that you not be placed in the back.
Pros: Customer service was outstanding
Cons: A little creepy, put me in the back.
Pros: Nice and accomodating personell/ owner. Place is old yet you could see some improvments that they did make. New heating/ ac unit in each room...new carpet in the room , matress.... Cant hide the place is old but it serves its purpose...as long as they stay fair with the price...
Cons: The room was like a jail cell the floor sloped the parking sucked
Pros: Nice host, free Wifi
Cons: Loud heater.
Cons: I requested no smoking and apparently got a no smoking room but it smelled like cigarettes and everything needed to be washed and aired out when I got home. Not a clean, pleasant smell.
Pros: Quiet and comfortable
Cons: Lots of hairs in our beds when we came....
Pros: Location was perfect and staff was very cool!
Cons: It could have been cleaner but for the price I’m not complaining
