Staff, location - ease of touring the area Tired bathroom facilities and furniture -especially the bed.
Friendly staff, okay breakfast, good, clean rooms, hotel restaurant was not bad- decent Portuguese food for Portuguese prices. We had booked a triple room but were given a double room (so my wife and I could sleep together) with two extra beds for our children (6&7). With the extra beds folded out, the room was rather cramped, but we did not mind.
a nice hotel with a good resturant
The management and all of the staff provided a high level of service throughout my stay. The Hotel was maintained to and excellent standard and the meals were indvidually prepared and were supurb.I will be recomending Hotel Mira Serra to my friends.
The Hotel Mira Serra is comfortable, the rooms with great balcony to a nice lanscape and to a very nice and great garden and the hotel is located in the centrum of the modern city services. it is all O.K.
Convenient for motorway, attentive staff, value for money Booking.com website gave me wrong exit from motorway. Hotel in need of refurb, or could become "period" furnishings in a few more years
It was advertised as being near Guarda.......it was definitley not!!!!!!
The manager was super, offering help with local tourist attractions, wine selections and other advice.....kudos
good value for money
Hotel well appointed Staff friendly and helpful
wonderful place, lovely people, and ell kind of jams. We can recommend it to anyone, who would like a tranquille place.
Excellent and very warm reception by the hosts, hotel in a wonderful old country house in a tiny historic village, breakfast served in an authentical country kitchen with local traditional products (Serra da Estrella cheese, homemade bread and jams, etc). Excellent memories
The owner is a kind gentleman and pleased with the accomodation he offers. The bedroom was spacious and had an quintessential feel. The garden and surrounding countryside was all beautiful. The texture of the pillow.
The lady who was the helper was so helpful and friendly and it was she alone who made our stay supportable. She is Dona Emilia and deserves a huge thankyou for trying to put right all that happened. Also we had the use of their kitchen to make tea or coffee which was very nice. They had double booked the room. The breakfast was very poor. There was no cheese from the Serra de Estrela, as advertised, (which my wife was looking forward to), just processed cheese slices!!, & a bit of thin cut bread, they could have made a better effort. There was only portuguese TV and reception was so bad that only one chanel was available. We were at least expecting satelite. My wife is English and doesn't want to see portuguese TV. Also there were no shelves anywhere to put cosmetics, shaving articles etc. All in all the negatives outwayed the positives.
