Pros: Great owner, very friendly and helpful. Nice hotel, room had a duvet, that was nice :)
Cons: Drain didnt work well, not much place to put our clothes or sit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, the food, the desert trip that the landlord organised! The garden, the pool, the quiet location.
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect. We were made to feel very welcome and the food and the garden exceeded expectations. Luke was a very, very good host, generous and very knowledgeable about the area and the desert.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: beautiful location and fantastic restaurant
Cons: Wifi need to be upgrated
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We felt like honoured guests. Hassan, our host, seemed to be enjoying hosting us in a nice and flexible, not to intense way. He offered breakfast and dinner anywhere we fancied having it; near the pool, or at one of the terraces around the hotel. On top of that he prepared a bed on the rooftop, saying that we should feel free to sleep wherever we want. In the end we spend all our nights under the Sahara stars.
Cons: The food was a bit pricey.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is just more than "What you see is what you get". There is something magical about this place, an oasis in the desert (loved the garden). It is also a place where you can have an excursion by foot, with dromedaries or car planned. The owner takes care that every detail is well organized, and that you get good value for your money. Not the cheapest, but the best!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect stay on a heavenly place! Warm welcome, friendly staf, charming host, authentic architecture, refreshing pool, a clean and comfortable room, delicious food and a breathtaking trekking in Saharadessert beginning in the hotel’s garden! All We were hoping for... thank you so!
Cons: Nothing.. all went well
10.0 Excellent
Pros: · I have stayed at Carrefour des Nomades a few times and it feels like a home in the desert for me now. The staff are helpful and friendly, the food is great, and the accommodation is comfortable. There’s a good pool and terrace for sunbathing. The relaxed atmosphere is ideal for groups, couples or solo travellers like me. Carrefour des Nomades is ideally situated next to the dunes, and also within easy reach of Mhamid which is a drive of about 4 kilometres and there are also camping facilities in the spacious grounds if required.

Pros: Beautiful place, very clean. Our room was upgraded with no extra cost. The pool is amazing. Nice host and staff in general. They organized a very good desert experience.
Cons: No wifi inside the room.

Pros: This place is truly a oase in the desert. Excellent food, great and charming pool.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Garden, locality, swimming pool.
Cons: As the bungallows have een closed for some time, the savage system in the bathroom was really smelly. The personal by the pool was very laid back, e.g. the cups after having coffee were left on the table for 24 hours...
5.0 Okay
Pros: Interesting possibilities with no attention to detail. Had to ask for a hot shower. Internet overall okay in public areas. Hard sell on extra activities. Restaurant decent, breakfast just about acceptable.
Cons: Interesting possibilities with no attention to detail. Had to ask for a hot shower. Internet overall okay in public areas. Hard sell on extra activities. Restaurant decent, breakfast just about acceptable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We drove from Marrakech to M’hamid for the desert camping and were charmed to stay longer at la pacha. An actual oasis in the desert, and what is quite a simple town with limited comforts, la pacha outshone it’s surroundings with its welcoming staff, lush mature planting and traditional yet luxurious architecture and facilities. There seemed no danger of the poolside bar running dry of our favourite flag beers and Campari cocktails. Possibly a limited selection of food, but the menu’s traditional and heart tagines and grills more than satisfied us after long trips into the Sahara or drinking sessions beside the pool. We wholly recommend the hotels organised desert camps which include 4x4 and camel transit across the dunes. Our nomad host and driver Husain and Hamed were absolute characters, with many stories and knowledge shared about their heritage and ongoing traditions. Keep your eyes peeled for meteorites! But if you’re unlucky, you can at least rely on the stars that were La Pacha’s hosts - what legends they are! Sucran!
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The staff were very receptive and provided great customer service. The property was very nice though the rooms were very basic. The AC provide just enough cool air for us to sleep. It couldn’t be adjusted, and there was no fridge in the room which would have been a bonus. We were there at the end of September and it wAs hot 45 degrees C.
Cons: The rooms were basic. On top of that the manager gave us an upgrade from a Nomadic room which was apparently even more basic. Not being to have a stronger AC as well as not having a fridge in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful villa on the edge of Sahara is a great to place to stay. Though you would need a car to get there, it is definitely worth it! Clean and well equiped rooms are filled with whatever u may need during your stay. Staff takes a good care about the property and makes sure you have a wonderfull holiday. We’ll surely come back!
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: The waiter by the name of Saleh was very nice to us and accompanied us to Zagora hosipital as our son got sick.
Cons: probably the wrong time of the year to come here, but there is not much one can like in a deserted hotel during Ramadan and sand storms. Our son got sick during our one day stay and we had to cancel the booked desert trip. During an already difficult night the air-conditioning stopped working, so we had an awful night a day before an 8 hour drive. Still, we had to pay the full 250€ for the planned dessert trip, which I found unreasonable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Dar was beautiful with great pool area, food was very nice, rooms nice and very confy beds. But the best part was their staff, vey nice and funny.Over all great stay and would recommend that place to anybody.
Cons: There was no wifi in rooms, also there should be small fridge in room because was very hot so all drinks were warm .In our last night there was no beer in bar.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice location with friendly staff. A bit too expensive.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Read first before booking: At first every thing seems very good, but after they are only after your money. This in a really scammy place. 1) they wanted us to pay for our stay, even after we proved that we already payed via booking.com 2) we booked a Hammam for the evening, after arriving there was a “technical” problem and we only where able to book a massage (more than double price of hammam) 3) We joined in the kitchen for a cooking class and cooked soup and a tajine in little over 1 hour. Later the price was sky high, nearly 2 times the rate for 1 night with breakfast for 2 person, crazy... 4) after this sky high cooking class price, they even dared to let us pay the restaurant price for the food we just cooking in the class?! So if you want to get robed in M’Hamid, this is definitely the place to get ripped off... No thanks

5.0 Okay
Pros: If the staff was around they were really nice and welcoming. The surrounding area with palmtrees and desert dunes is so absolutely wonderful!!
Cons: The whole compound was kind of untidy and rundown... It has obviously a lot of potential tho. We sometimes didn't find any people around if we had questions. One morning nobody was around and the gate was locked... The rooms are okay but very traditional I guess.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When you arrive in M'hamid, you got to remember that you are in the desert for real, and manage your expectations accordingly. If you are a traveller ready for a REAL desert experience, then you will find this place absolutely lovely. EVERYTHING is build the traditional way with with mud, complete with carpets on the sand, Bedouin tents and the lot. You will get a warm welcome from staff full of energy, comfortable mattresses, as many blankets you need, electricity plugs, and a hot shower heated by a wood fire. After a desert trip, you can wash your clothes out on the back. Staff speaks fluent English and French, and they can tailor-make whatever desert trip you would like, and they deliver. I arrived in the afternoon, as was gone on my trip early next morning. It helps if you have done your homework, and know what you would like.....just please remember that you have come all this way, so do NOT miss out on the HIGHLIGHTS. Whatever the length of your desert trip is, and whatever way you want to travel, you MUST see Erg Chegaga. Do not settle with any other sand dunes regardless of how pretty they might be. Erg Chegaga is not just another sand dune, the entire area is just really really pretty, so are the oasis you will pass. You can stay in a Bivouac camp at the foot of Erg Chegaga. They have solar powered electricity, good mattresses, blankets, and a makeshift hot shower, enough water for bit of refreshing. It is VERY easy to arrange your own trip after you arrive M'hamid, so don't get lured into committing to something some touts are promising along 'Route du Camel-tout' (anywhere south of Ait Ben Haddu.) if your trip is very short or very cheap, then you will NOT see Erg Chegaga.
Cons: I wish ALL the staff was a bit more switched on regarding bookings made through booking.com, so they know who to expect, and what kind of room they have booked. I was first put in a room twice as expensive, as they were not aware of my booking. It was quickly sorted though.
9.6 Excellent

Pros: As much as the property was cozy and beautiful, it's the owners Omar and Mustapha who made our experience stay in M'hamid truly memorable. From the time we arrived, they greeted and treated us like friends visiting than guests checking in. They were so accommodating to our needs and never hazitated to lend us a helping hand even for the things they didn't had to. We visited M'hamid to experience a music festival but returned with an elevated lifetime experience of selfless humanity that we were surprised that still exists. We have many more reasons to keep visiting M'hamid now and for sure our stay will always be at Dar M'hamid with our friends.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was great. I wasn't able to get in until quite late in the evening and they had my supper ready for me to eat when I wanted, never made me feel like I should have arrived earlier. The meals were great, delicious and a tonne of food as well. Host sat and had mint tea with me and let me know about the history of the area. The courtyard was also really nice, very peaceful with birds chirping etc. Air conditioning was a blessing as well.
Cons: Can't think of anything, was exactly what I was looking for and more.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely calm space with cool courtyard. Friendly staff. Great dinner and breakfast. Secure parking for our motorbikes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Although we just hat time for one day in M'hamid our stay made a great impression on the whole family. Our host Omar was a kind person, speaks Englisch very well. He took us on a half a day tour into the dessert and showed us some remarkably things and persons. For us it was a great experience. The dinner and breakfast tasted very good. He and his brother are great cooks. The accommodation itself is very clean, perfect to relax and typical Morocco. So everything was just perfect.
Cons: no complaints
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Riad is perfectly located at the end of M’hamid. In just a few hundreds meters the dessert starts and it is therefore a perfect place to start a dessert trip. The Riad is very beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you need. The breakfast and the dinner are very delicious. We can highly recommend the lemon chicken and vegetable tangine. The host (Omar) is extraordinary friendly. He will do everything to make sure you have a perfect stay. He will provide you with many helpful advices and is just super friendly and chatty. The tyre of our car was flat and he helped us immediately and made sure we could continue our trip safely. We can highly recommend this place.

Pros: Mohammed and Ali will make your stay in the desert unforgettable!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is quite far from any city, but it's definitely worth it! The camp is just a step away from beautiful dunes without any people around. It's funny that the best tajine we had in Morocco was in the desert. Staff was always helpful and very friendly, but also left us alone to enjoy romantic moments.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ali and Saidi were great hosts. They showed us around the Sahara,, shared stories of their life in the desert and brought the experience to a new level. Highly recommended for an authentic Saharian experience at a great value without the price tag of the fluff the luxury camps try to sell you.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What an amazing place!! Gorgeous location in the big dunes of erg chegaga. Small but comfortable camp. Really quiet, we felt we were the only people on earth. Very friendly guide/driver Ali. Food was great, music by the campfire under hundreds of stars. Just magical. Our 3 kids also loved it! You have to drive 2 hours from m hamid with 4wd to get there through the dessert (sand and stones). You have to take this into account for your budget but it is so worth it. Unforgetable experience. We highly recommend these guys!!! Thanks so much Ali, we will never forget this trip!
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location near the Erg Chegaga. The host meet with you in Mhamid and then pick up you to the camp near Erg Chegaga. The way is about 2 hours. The dinner is at 7-8 p.m. It is included soup, salad, tajin and fruits. The breakfast is included little piece of omelet, bread, butter, jam, orange juice, tea, coffee. Transfer from Mhamid to the camp and dinner is not included to the booking price. The extra cost is 40€ for transfer and 6€ for dinner per person.

Pros: Charming camp in the dunes with spacious tents, Berber carpets, excellent food, great staff, lovely dromedars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The experience in the desert was surreal. We had such an amazing experience there. We learned a lot about Berber/nomad living and really enjoyed spending time with Muhammad, Ali and Said. Muhammad was more than just a guide- I felt like he was a great friend by the end of our stay. The way he knew the Sahara was fascinating. I love fossils and he even took us to a place in the middle of Sahara to find some! Thank you so much for everything :) I highly recommend this place.

Cons: Even it was only one night there it was perfect. Everyone friendly and helpful. If you want to go to the desert they will help you. And get you anything you want. Ask for driver named Hasmi. He was really good driver, funny and make the experience nice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Mohammed was amazing. Helped us on everything. Plus: there was beer, which is hard to find even in some hotels.
Cons: The decoration of the dinning room doesnt match the remaining architecture
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place in M'Hamid... the place is not new but well kept...
6.7 Good
Pros: Room itself was lovely, huge size, nice furnishings. Brekkie was good too- and staff were very welcoming if a little clueless.
Cons: Travelling with a ten month old baby, we chose our hotels based on them having a baby cot and aircon. In Mhamid, baby cots are not readily available so when we booked this hotel we did so specifically because they were one of the few that had cots. We duly requested a cot in advance and the hotel confirmed that they would have one for us. On arrival, it turned out they didn’t. And so we had a very sleepless night bed sharing with our baby. The air con was effective for sure but at gale levels! Not a great night’s rest for any of us. After some discussion the manager did discount the price of our stay but they really should take ‘baby cots available’ off their website description or better yet, just buy a cot!!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff, food and quality of the relax was at the top. The structure includes a garden with a door that gives direct access to the desert. For bikers: the motorcycles could be parked inside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property has a wonderful garden and it is really relaxing and peaceful. It is located literally next to the desert. They have a pool where you can refresh, and they use the water (without Cl) to water the garden once in a while. On another note, Paru was a great host, she gave us tips and discussed in general about Moroccan culture, and her journey there. I would deffiniyely recommend it!
Cons: It was a bit hard to find due to the lack of signs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything.
Cons: It's already perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: How can I possibly find words that would adequately describe our experience at Dar Paru? We were looking for tranquility, beauty, and a place to feel revived while getting a taste of the Sahara. We were so well taken care of; the food was outstanding, our room was lovely, and the gardens were heavenly. Our little one so enjoyed wandering through the pomegranate trees and palms, looking at the stars, and exploring the dunes just outside. Paru is a gem, and I wish we had more time to chat with her. I feel that we will be back at some point...
Cons: Everything was perfect— if we could move in, we would!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful atmosphere, delicious dinner and breakfast by chef Mohammed, and direct access to the beginning of the sahara dunes. A great place to stay before heading into the Sahara. The little village nearby (Bounou) is very cute and worth a visit. Paru helped us organise a sunset camel ride which was beautiful.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a pleasure garden with an actual door on to the Sahara. I’ve never seen anything so amazing. The house is very beautiful and the owner — Paru — could not be more welcoming.
Cons: It’s haunted. I spent a night of terror there. I don’t know what the experience of others might be, but I’ve never been more convinced of the existence of the supernatural than in this house. And it made me want to get away.

Pros: Luxury accommodation and staff are frendlly.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: What a sweet place! I’m so glad I chose it! The facilities were clean and the staff took great care to keep them that way. It is 6km out into the desert, so unless you want to walk through the dunes, you rely on the staff to bring you into town and back. We found the transport very reliable. The staff were great; friendly, pleasant, accommodating and professional. Thank you, Ismail, Laila and Abdul! And the food— oh my! Wonderful traditional Moroccan dishes, each one more delicious than the one before it. There was a good selection of breakfast items each day. This is, as the name suggests, a desert bivouac, meaning it’s fairly rustic, including a shared bathroom. (I’m only saying that to try to help manage other travelers’ expectations.)
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff r very frndly
Cons: Regarding the extra payments that i had to pay which was not mentioned on booking.com
9.2 Excellent
Pros: the 4x4 excursion on the dunes is a must!! we loved it! real attention to clients.
Cons: i would just make clear on the website that the transfer to the camp is not part of the price. nothing bad, but it should be clearer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really loved all the attention that was given to us, very welcoming and nice staff! They organized everything following our wishes! Breakfast was excellent!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The service provide by the stuff, traditional dinner they prepared for us (delicious tagine), the possibility to sleep outside the tents if you like. Very nice place!
Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The stuff is super friendly and helpful! They made our stay unforgettable: great dinner and breakfast, transfer to the camp by 4x4, camel ride and amazing night around the campfire.
7.9 Good
Pros: First of all: the stuff is very friendly and super helpful. They saved us literally our lifes when we have been stucked in the desert. To sleep a night in the wild and be treated with very good food was great after a long and adventurous rescue mission!
Cons: It’s a traditional place without windows, so prepare to sleep like in a Swedish sauna. To try to convince us again and again to book additional things was kinda annoying when your partner is feeling sick and you just wanna leave.

Pros: Highly recommended! Book it now! Don't hesitate! This is my first time giving a 10 on booking.com. Nubia is definitely one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. The staffs were super friendly! Lahcen is the best staff!! Even tho his English was not that good he still tried his best to communicate with us. He was very helpful! We had a wonderful birthday dinner there. It's lack of everything in the middle of desert but they tried their best to make us feel comfortable. We love it! We will definitely come back again!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is amazing! I have never experienced such a beautiful, peaceful, and quiet place. The Sahara is just stunning. The "camp" itself (quotes because this is definitely glamping!) was fantastic. Tents have a very comfy bed, electricity, and bathroom with toilet, sink, shower. The food was incredible. We enjoyed a camel trek, walking the dunes, duneboarding, sitting around the fire w/ music at night, relaxing in the hammocks, and the stars! Couldn't recommend more highly. Hope we are lucky enough to come back one day!
4.6 Okay
Pros: We love the staff, always trying to please and trying to minimise our suffering during the stay. Our three meals there are amazing (considering it’s location).
Cons: When we paid $550/night for a ‘luxury’ camp we weren’t expecting to be baked under the 50 degrees heat with no A/C or fan. Sleeping in the tent at night is impossible, hence there would be a bed for u to sleep under the stars. This would bring me to highlight the fact that having/paying for a tent is redundant. Had to use water bottles for our shower. To be fair I believe this is one of the best options to go for if one would INSIST on visiting Sahara. However IMO you would get a much better experience taking the same amount of money to any safari in South Africa. Note that a 2hr single way transfer from Mhamid costs €120.

Pros: This place was incredible. I highly recommend staying here. On a scale of 1 to 10 it is easily an 11 or 12. The guys who are working here are some of the nicest people you will meet in Morocco and will take care of your every need.

Pros: A big thank you to Yahya. He is a very hospitable and nice guy with a sense of humour. We stayed in his lovely placed where we felt very welcomed and comfortable. He then organized a fabulous derlsert trip for us. We went to a camp in the big dunes "Erg Chigaga" where we really enjoyed our time. We went on a camel ride tour to the big dunes nearby to watch an amazing sunset. We then went back to the camp and found a very delicious dinner awaiting for us. Afterwards we sat by the campfire and were entertained by the local music played by the staff. In the next morning we had a nice breakfast and headed back to Mhamid. We are so grateful to Yahya for such a memorable experience. We highly recommend it

Pros: It was an unforgettable experience in the Sahara Desert especially the chegaga dune. Staff is very nice and friendly. Tajine that we ate at the dinner was the best in Morocco. We found out a lot of interesting facts about Berbers and had a great evening in the kitchen-tent with national music and dances with Berbers. Definitely, recommend!

Cons: · The sunset camel ride is not to be missed! The dinner was delicious with several courses. After dinner, entertainment if drums by fire light and everyone was invited to try to play along. Our host Yaya (You for short) was funny and very obliging.

Pros: Went on a two day trip into the desert with Yaya after staying at his home one night. Very reasonable prices compared to other places and a great tour. Took me to the dried lake, a nomad village and the dunes. Stopped many times for photos and was very accommodating to my requests such as getting camels for sunset photos.
Cons: Didn't provide much background into the lives of people or other questions I had. Acted as more of a driver then a guide.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Yahya is a very friendly host and we had a great time in M'Hamid! Our room was clean and comfy, we got free tea in the evening and a nice breakfast. Yahya even picked us up from the bus station when we arrived late in the evening and drove us to the starting point of our excursion in the next morning. We could not have expected more. All this for a very moderate price! Really great!
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Yahya is a super host en gave us the best dessert experience. We spend the first night in his Dar (house) in M’Hamid and went to Erg Chegaga by 4x4 the other day and night. We slept in a very nice luxury camp. Yahya arranges everything for a great price. So cool, so pretty! Must do, must book!!

No thanks

Pros: We loved all of it, the space to hang out, the rooms, the pool, the vegetable garden in the back is really beautiful, the friendliness of the staff, all in all, we had an amazing time there, very enjoyable.
Cons: The food is good, but could be improved, a little more spices and maybe a few more vegetarian dishes apart from Tajin for those who stay longer. But all in all great value.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager, Radounne, and his staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, very clean, with excellent bedding. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all excellent meals.
Cons: The furniture around the pool could use an update. Other than that, great value.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Food was spectacular and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: a very nice hotel on the edge of the desert. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. You can walk to the desert. Nice walk
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice pool area, with shady areas to relax, easy to find and plenty of parking facilities (including some in the shade), dinner is available on site approx 100dh for the menu which was tasty. The women cleaning were very friendly and you can see they try hard to keep the place clean (difficult when there are multiple sand storms a day!) Nice place to relax before and after a desert tour - all can be arranged direct from the hotel and you don’t need to be up so early as it leaves from the hotel.
Cons: Some of the staff are a little odd but friendly enough (hard to describe but you are never really sure if you got the right answer from them). They could be more proactive to offer drinks/snacks around the pool area - not always easy to track someone down. Dinner (no real menu to choose from) seems to be the same every night which isn’t so great when you stay multiple nights. A few options in town for lunch or dinner if you need them. Bathrooms could do with some attention/smartening up a bit - campsite bathrooms were better than at the hotel!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: They manage to make a little oasis on the edge of the dessert. Having a pool was really nice and meal outside by the pool was very atmospheric. The staff was helpful and kind.
Cons: The toilet took a long time to fill and made a lot of noise, but water is scarce in this part of the world so it's to be expected.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good people, swimming pool
Cons: Not very clean, but we are at the end of the world...
