Friendly staff and location was very convenient to where I needed to be.

Plenty of room and nice kitchen. Spacious and very functional. Fantastic breakfast and staff was helpful.

Maintenance of the buildings and grounds could be improved. Tub faucet leaked and couch cushions torn. Dishes missing from kitchen.

The room had a mold problem in the bathroom. The tub had rust around the base of the faucet. The tub was chipped in several locations. The thermostat had a glowing blue light that could pass for a night light. After parking the car we had an unusually long walk from the parking space to the room.

The manager was terrific. She went out of her way to make sure that our reservation was handled. I had booked online and the company that handled the payment transaction never paid for the room.

While the Homewood is a somewhat dated, the beds are comfortable and suites contain essential elements to ensure guest comfort. I enjoy staying here.

Many hotels now consider guests who do not consume red meat. I skipped the breakfast because of this and spent money at local restaurants. Also, rates are higher than comparable properties.

Location, the quiet and the cost. (Many hotels in the area are in the noise of the Dayton Mall) bed was comfortable everything was clean!

I am spoiled by more expensive hotels--I missed breakfast and microwave....but everything was just right for this inexpensive stay. Staff was nice--we had all we needed.

Room was clean, location was nice, the bed was perfect for my bad back. Perkins was next door and Bob Evans was across the street.

We first had a room right next to a vending machine, you could hear everything but we changed rooms fast. The wifi signal was pretty weak. We thought someone was playing their TV very loud but it ended up being the bar close by, but that ended by 10.

The only thing decent about the entire stay was the location.

Hotel was filthy! It was smelly, outdated, and was NOT clean. Floors turned my socks black, the shower head didnt work, the bathtub was disgustingly dirty and paint was chipping, and the bed smelled of smoke and body odor!! Horrible experience!

Dirtiest, most outdated hotel I have ever stayed at! Long story short, don't waste your money!!

WOW this hotel was a great value!! CLEAN room, nice pool and sauna. Super friendly and attentive staff. Great stay for the price and excellent choices for breakfast. hot/cold or grab n go. I would highly recommend.

The parking is limited, especially if another room is having a 'party'.. sketchy characters who thought it was cool to rev the motorcyle engine to annouce they had arrived. Im sorry, rice burners don't 'rev'...they screech... Harleys rev.

Staff didnt seem to mind, even though they backed up to the office. While I was there, received an email stating room was $20 cheaper.NOT happy about that at all.

While the room was neat in appearance and clean, the night desk receptionist was horrible. Not only was he not friendly, when I presented my credit card and ID for payment, he told me that he did not need to see my ID. In a world full of identity theft, that is a terrible business practice. He alkso did not direct me to my room which was at the back of the hotel. So much for customer service!

The location was perfect for New Year's Eve as the hotel was centrally located near the bars downtown and the room was quite large.

The furniture was starting to look outdated and light switches were everywhere rather than near the door. Parking was also a bit confusing as it was across the street at the convention center. The staff was very friendly; however, I was charged twice for the room and it took 14 days to resolve this issue.

Advertised amenities not available: cable, swimming pool, breakfast, fitness center, etc. Hotel under complete renovation, which was not disclosed. Found out only after driving 4 hours. Offered meaningless partial refund of $38 on 2-night stay.

Very nice, clean hotel. Worth the extra money for nightly stays...snacks in evening and great breakfast buffet. Staff are always willing to please and very friendly and helpful. Great Location!! Plan on staying at this hotel on future visits to town to visit family.

Nice new hotel. Had problems with tv, maintenance came quick. Have nice LCD tvs. Had 2 room suite. Large living area with pull out sofa sleeper. Daughter said it slept decent. She had very good wireless reception on her laptop in that room. Nice bathroom and bedroom was good size with wonderful king sized bed and plasma tv. Nice closet area also. Room had not been cleaned properly. Crumbs all over bedroom floor. Refrig had not been cleaned, items left from prior quests. Trash had not been changed. Elevator was out of order. Had to take luggage up 4 floors. Other parts of the hotel seemed very nice. Had great breakfast and evening reception. Our dog was accepted very well. Great to have a good place to stay that not only allow pets, but do not charge fees. Managment took the time to come up to our room and address issues. Staff was impeccible, from front desk, management and also maintenance. We were compensated for our problems and that revealed to me that they did care. Lots of restaurants close. I would definitely return to this hotel again. Have stayed at many Drury's and will continue to patronize their corporation because of the staff I have encountered and their williness to do things right.

It would be nice if getting to the vending area could be made with out going out side when it is raining. It is not the motels problem, but going from it, when reaching route 122, you can only turn right. If you want to go east, you must go right & u turn

Location was convenient for early morning flight. My son had a flight as an unaccompanied minor and the extra time needed for paperwork is understandable but it was a 6am flight.

There wasn't anything out for breakfast before we left because of the early flight. Additionally, they closed the pool precisely at 10p. They cited security reasons for the promptness but it sounds a bit unnecessary. We weren't able to take part in any of the 'added conveniences' due to our circumstances.

Service, food, cleanliness, the total experience was excellent!

My son and family had to be at fairgrounds by 6 for a long day of working with cows and left at 5:45. Breakfast was all set up but were told they could not get anything because it had to be 6 AM. I could understand if it was not ready but it was ready.

We are non smokers....put us in a smoking room. The smell was horrible. Complained at desk so they ionized our room while we were out. MUCH better. Then the next day the smell was back.

Great location and price. I found that there was enough parking, and it was easy to jump in the car and head to the city. Lots of dining options on the street, too.

Room is very outdated and no attempt at decoration. Carpet was wet with some unknown liquid. The bathroom sink barely drained. The "breakfast" is little more than a kiosk with oatmeal and lukewarm water. This is minimalist as far as hotels are concerned, but the price is lower than others in the area.

I am a Dayton native, so I can say that you cannot beat this location. It is on 75, and an exit from 70. That gets you just about everywhere you need to be in the greater Dayton area. About 15mins from downtown, 20 to WSU or UD, about 20mins from one of the 3 malls. But of course, the selling point is all the restaurants in the area.

Parking was kinda tight, and travelling to and from the hotel can be a nightmare because of all the restaurant traffic. The facility was good, but the TVs and cable service was not very good. I know it's a small thing for some.

Rude/incompetent staff other than pleasant manager. Lots of late night activities. Desk staff couldn't locate a blanket when I didn't want to use their filthy comforters

Easy check-in, decent value for the inexpensive price, good location to Dayton - my husband and I were at an event at the Montgomery Co fairgrounds. Lots of restaurants nearby.

In the bathroom, there was a cracked and dirty tub as well as a blood-stained shower curtain. The bed was rock hard and you only get one heavily used pillow. Not too many TV channels, not that big of a deal. And not the hotel's fault, but some drunk person was trying to get into our room and then had loud, quick sex next door.
