Pros: Everything! This was our 1st bed and breakfast & it completely blew our minds! The Inn was full of charm & Character inside and out. Our room was cozy & relaxing...and the whole place was just peacefully & quiet! The Inn keepers were amazing & kind, and the Breakfast they made us was phenomenal. No lie, we took photos of it ( we normally don't take pictures of food)! I highly reccomend this place for amy one wanting to vacation, take a long weekend, or do what we did..just pass through! The price for everytging you get is an incredible value! I was truly sad to leave!
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like; it was amazing! The town was so cute & beautiful & the people were friendly! The Inn keepers made our stay very pleasent as well! Our room exceeded our expectations, and truly felt as if we were in a cozy cabin (we said in the Cabin room). There is absolutely nothing negitive about the experience we had!

Pros: We had a really great three night stay at The Olde Mill Inn Bed & Breakfast, Cumberland Gap. The Suite is located on the second floor and tucked away in the back of the B&B--very comfy, cozy, and quiet. The breakfasts in the morning are tasty and filling. The all-day self-serve coffee, tea, and hot chocolate bar is a nice touch.

Pros: The breakfast was very good and the staff was very nice.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was awesome. We had a great view. It also was very clean.
Cons: It was a little dated.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the setting, the room and the breakfast. Our waitress was charming and accommodating. She was working on the 4th, by herself, but was more than capable to handle the challenge. The food was excellent as well.
Cons: Our stay was only for one night, and it rained for much of our visit. That is not the parks fault, but it really was the only thing we didn't like.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The private patio. The quiet. Loved seeing the fox that came out in the clearing each night about the same time. Close proximity to the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, hiking trails and other attractions like Chained Rock! Friendly staff. Strong wi-fi.
Cons: Housekeeping needed additional staff. Our room was not serviced during the eight hours we were away. Especially didn't like the mattress protector which made noise with every turn while trying to sleep. The coffee in the room was nice but a very strong blend. Nice to have a refrigerator but it froze our drinks. Had to turn it down! Would have been nice to have a microwave. TV signal went out a few times, understandable due to remote location. Ok trade off for the quiet of nature!
6.3 Good
Pros: I loved the peacefulness of the cabin. All of the staff was extremely friendly.
Cons: We stayed in a cabin and the bed was small but I knew this beforehand. It wasn't exactly uncomfortable. If I stay there again I will try staying in a room at the lodge. The water pressure in the shower was pretty good except there needed to be more water coming out. I couldn't change it to see if that would make a difference. The cabin we stayed in had the steepest incline and we were pulling a trailer with some quads on it which made it difficult to park and turn around but we managed. I booked my reservation online. That was my fault. I should've called and asked about the parking. We had to walk to the restaurant due to the previous sentence and getting back was extremely difficult (all uphill). The service at the restaurant was very slow but they were very friendly. The fried chicken was blah and the chicken tenders were flavorless. I wouldn't recommend those 2 items.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Bath tub drain completely blocked
6.8 Good
Pros: Mountain View’s
Cons: Food / service
5.0 Okay
Pros: The state park was very beautiful. The grounds were park-like. There were many vistas - scenic overlooks. The small town was nearby and convenient. THe ltowels were soft. THe balcony was nice with a good view. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: THe lodge itself was what I hated. No microwave, no refrigerator. The bed was one of the worst I have ever slept in. THe matteress was such that I nearly rolled out of bed numerous times... there was no support along the edges. My reservation clearly stated that a complimentary breakfast was included on the final morning. The breakfast, while appetizing, was way over priced for scrambled eggs, juice, potatoes and bacon. There were a couple of bugs in the room: a roach and a small spider. It was a considerable walk, up numerous steps from the parking lot to the lobby. I could not get seated for dinner my first night due to a few busses of kids, apparently on a field trip, that occupied the dining room and had some sort of meeting after they ate.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view was beautiful. The lodge toms were very clean. Not a lot for a toddler to do except swim.
Cons: Not a lot for toddler to do except swim.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything except for the beds they were a little hard
Cons: The beds were a little hard
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff was friendly and beautiful surroundings
Cons: Couldn’t enjoy the surroundings because of repair work not informed about.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: This was the largest hotel room I have ever seen for this kind of hotel. It room was very clean as was the breakfast area. Great value!
Cons: The rooms have little soundproofing - we could hear the neighbor's TV. Also, we didn't understand why the shower head was mounted so low on the wall when there were another three feet of wall space to the ceiling. My husband is 6'4" and had to crouch under the showerhead. Probably should have an arrow on the Sleep Inn sign that points up the hill. We couldn't see the hotel from the road so we went into the Holiday Inn Express that is also right there (but visible from the road) to ask where the Sleep Inn is. The guy at the HI front desk said he gets that question almost daily.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is outstanding. Friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Found hair woven into a bath towel I was going to use. Rates are too high for a hotel that does not have a pool on premises. Other chains seem to be more aggressive on rates for guests that travel Have a take it or leave it kind of business plan

Pros: Very clean, staff was incredibly kind and accommodating
7.0 Good
Pros: It was adequate. Not fancy. The room was large. Everything was a bit worn and dated but clean. I requested an extra pillow and blanket and it was brought to my room. They were changing out the water heater so no hot water for the first hour or so but it didn't affect our stay. The staff was very nice. The price was half of what the neighboring town was charging, so that was great.
Cons: The location. No restaurant next to the hotel. But we did get delivery that was very tasty.

Cons: Everything was good

Pros: Good basic place to stay...they are working hard to improve the facilities. Jackie was very helpful and accommodating to all my needs.
Cons: It's still a work in progress. When completed will be great!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and ready for us an hour before the actual check in time.
4.5 Okay
Cons: The room was absolutely filthy. The floors were sticky and gross and were scattered with dead bugs. The toilet had urine all over the sides of the toilet amd the shower was so dirty and built up with grime that we went and bought cleaning supplies just to sanitize the shower so we could bathe. And there was a shower Matt that was brown nasty and moldy. We got in late and we were too tired to deal with complaining at the time. It was just all around filthy and gross and was very clear the cleaners were not doing there job. Jackie was very nice and understanding and treated us very kindly but the room was a mess. We were very upset amd disappointed as well when we got up to find the pool to go swimming only to see the pool was a swamp full of sticks tires and brown nasty water. The pool clearly has not been maintained or cleaned in years. But the website says there was a pool. It's false advertisement and was 1 of the reasons we booked the hotel so the kids could swim. We were very dissatisfied with the entire 1 night stay and we will never stay at that hotel again. There is no excuse for such poor maintenance. And the room smelled horrible as well we bought air freshener so we could tolerate the room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent and went above and beyond
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Loved the service Mrs Jackie was the best. Anything we needed she was there to help. Thank you again mrs. Jackie for the Christmas dinner also your the best.
