I was made to pull my car out of the lot, which was located behind several other cars. I had to maneuver my car on the edge of a 10 foot drop into a ditch located directly next to the lot. I kid you not when i tell you i was inches away from either grinding the car against a chain link fence or having it tip into the ditch. The hertz dealer should have pulled my car around for me to prevent me from having to possibly incur damage to the car just because the location is poorly laid out in a gravel lot next to a ditch.7.6 Good

Cons:
Hertz said the drop off location had a drop off lock box for after hours returns. This was not true. Per instructions from Hertz I had to park the car and lock the keys inside for the drop off. They told me it was my responsibility and I should expect a charge from the drop off location for the cost of opening the car to get the keys.8.0 Very good

Pros:
Pick up and drop off were easy. We were moving across several states and couldn't afford the $800 drop off fee for a moving van going one way so we decided to rent a van and take what we could. Not only was the price $1100.00 cheaper, they also had cargo vans so we were able to get almost everything in the one trip. We were able to use our debit card for the transaction and the final bill was the price I was quoted (they did have an extra $200 deposit that was deducted once the van was returned). Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend using this service.Avis

The agent told me that my debit card doesn’t have (something) I don’t know what he wanted! He then asked for my social security and I never give that out. So he asked for a diff method of payment and I didn’t have that! So he was not able to give me the car!9.6 Wonderful
