Pros: Very nice place!! Had a great time!! Worth the stay!!
Pros: The owners were great...very friendly and accommodating. Served a great breakfast right to your room. Room was clean and top of the line bedding and nice comfortable king size bed. I would recommend Foothill to friends and family.
Pros: Many extras and little things made the room and stay perfect. Much better than 90% of our B&B stays. Will definitely return whenever we visit Napa Valley. Despite temps in the upper 80's and low 90's the room and garden were very cool and comfortable.
Cons: Nothing really. Perhaps the entry driveway is a bit hidden, but once you've found it, no problem.
Pros: The breakfast, the size of the room, the comfortable bed.
Cons: The dated decor. Too close to the road. Traffic noise.

Pros: beautiful room and office area. staff was a big help for a very late check in,
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, charming room. Decent breakfast that came with the room fee.
Cons: Bed was made each day and used towels were replaced with clean ones, but bathroom wasn't cleaned, used glasses weren't replaced, and coffee pot was not cleaned out after use. We mentioned this to front desk staff - they said they'd talk to housekeeping
Pros: It was charming and felt very safe and clean.
Cons: Room was a bit small, but just lovely.
If you are a heavy sleeper then this hotel is great. If you wake easily, you will not get a good nights rest!
Pros: We had a very nice room with a fireplace. The location was great, we walked to dinners and brunches just around the corner.
Cons: The walls are paper thin! I could hear the couple in the room to our right talking at 1am, not yelling, just talking in normal voices. At 6am I was woken up to a baby crying in the room to our left. I also heard a man coughing up phlegm and spitting.
We booked two days through the hotel which were less than what we were charged through priceline.
Pros: We had a private patio with a gas fireplace.
Pros: Very Cute! The fireplaces are a great feature. Great location to walk downtown.
Overall our stay was nice. I have no complaints except for the carpet that was old and stained. The room was quaint and unique, with French shutters and a private patio. The unit was laid out with a sitting area with a fire place and a sleeping area. The bathroom had a separate water closet (toilet with a door). Then their was a huge hot tub in the bathroom that was very interesting. The shower was built into the tub, which requires you you sit on the ledge and clime into the deep tub to take a shower. I wouldn't recommend it for older adults or individuals with limited mobility. They may have other rooms with standard bathing facilities. In anycase, I filled the tub up once (big tub) and the water stayed hot during the fill, which I was impressed with because it is big and took a long time to fill. In the mornings they offered a complementary light breakfast. The rooms had a refrigerator but no microwave for reheating leftovers. The access to shops and restaurants was very convenient.
Pros: The hotel was located very close to all the amenities in downtown Calistoga. We could walk to all the restaurants and shops. The access to the bike rental shop was very convenient. The Inn was charming and unique. I liked the layout and private patio.
Cons: The carpets and wall paper needs to be replaced - the pink carpet was quite stained and old and the seams in the wall paper are pealing.
We were disappointed in the room and felt overcharged for what we received. We notified the staff and were told they would correct the room description with Pricelone.
Cons: We were booked for a queen with a fireplace. We only received a standard room. The carpeting was not clean.
This hotel is a real gem in Calistoga. Rooms are nice and ours had a little garden and sitting area outside the front door. The breakfast was delightful as was the sitting area for breakfast (inside and outside). Staff were very helpful and gave us good recommendations for wine tours. A pleasant time had by all!
Pros: A charming Victorian. Staff were available, helpful and gracopus.
Nice, big room with Jacuzzi and gas fireplace. Great breakfast and very competent staff.
Cons: Nice window to courtyard below but could hear conversations from the courtyard
Would recommend. A good value for the $.
Pros: Awesome big shower with jacuzzi built in, great breakfast. Four-poster bed. Nice and close to town, walkable.
Cons: Time to replace the carpet.

Pros: I have been to Calistoga many times and this location was within 1 block of the top bars, restaurants and events. Great location. The multiple pools were very nice. Great place.
The second room we had was beautiful and cockroach free, however, I'm not impressed with the hotel and wouldn't recommend them because they gave us a room knowing it had cockroaches.
Pros: The location was perfect & once they moved us to a new room, the room was beautiful
Cons: When we got to the room and turn the lights on, cockroaches ran into hiding. We informed the front desk of the issue and they said they were aware of the cockroaches. They gave us a new room the second night
The location is very convenient and the pool and spa were great. The public areas were very nice. Other than the horribly uncomfortable bed, it was a good choice.
Pros: The pool and spas
Cons: THE BED!! It was so hard we could not sleep. We had to remake the bed both nights by taking the top comforter off and using it as a mattress pad - and on the second night we added an extra blanket under the bottom sheet to try to make it tolerable.
Front desk staff was great. Totally overpriced. I might as well have stayed in a motel. Locks are regular locks not hotel style locks. I was on the bottom floor by myself and didn't sleep well. No restaurant or food service there. For the price I paid I could've stayed in a Marriott! Was very disappointed. Felt like false advertising. Do not feel like I got my money's worth, I felt ripped off.
Pros: Location is great
Cons: Over priced for what you get. Hotels charging that much have a food service. It was not the set up i thought it would be. Didn't feel safe that the locks weren't automatic hotel locks. Would have gone to a different hotel. Wont be back and not recommended
We liked it and the staff was kind and accommodating. They went out of their way to be helpful. We were sorry we didn't have time for the spa treatment as that would have been interesting. We didn't know what was available and already had our trip agenda planned.
Pros: The beautiful flowers and landscaping were magnificent and accented the amazing pools.
Cons: The price was a little high, but we didn't check others.
The room was clean and more than adequate, and my particular location on the end of a building over the linen storage room meant that things were very quiet. Other rooms may or may not have such good locations as I thought room 171 had. However, the room was not what you would call really spruced up. Furniture looked a little bit worn and the bathroom while functioning perfectly was cramped and the style old fashion. The staff were lovely and very helpful for my simple questions about where things were located and what place might I get breakfast in. I wish it had been cool enough to want to get into the hot pools but with the air temperature in the 90s, a 104 degree pool just didn't seem so attractive as it had seemed in winter when I booked the room. I must add that there were lots of wonderful out door patio furniture for people to lounge around on and even a barbeque area for people who wanted to grill a steak or whatever. In a small area the Roman Spa Resort packed in a lot of nice features. I would go there again if I am every needing to go to Calistoga again.
Pros: The air conditioner worked great on some really hot days. The location, 1 block from the center of town, was excellent.
Cons: The price to value was a little heavy on the price side.
This hotel was cute and clean and the beds were amazing! Everything was at the touch of our fingertips! Highly recommend this hotel!
Pros: This hotel was located in the spot! We never had to get in the car and drive. It was around the corner from the main street in Calistoga. And we loved the fact that the spa facilities were right there!
Cons: That the pool closed at 10pm:-(

Pros: B&B owner was friendly and very good breakfast. Very good location.
