Pros: Loved the location and view. I enjoyed the seating on each floor. Gave us a chance to sit and visit while enjoying the gorgeous view of the river.
Cons: Would love a quick cafe for coffee in the morning when we didn't want a full breakfast.

Pros: Location and cleanliness, except for being a smoking room, of the hotel are very good.
Cons: We had to book online at the last minute. Booked 3 rooms for 3 adult family couples. When we got there we realized with the rooms given, no way to tell online, we could get away with 2 rooms as they were big rooms. We asked to change and weren't allowed because of the online booking. Also one day of the rooms assigned was a smoking room that smelled very strongly of cigarettes, again asked to change and weren't allowed to. Rooms were quite pricey as well, the most expensive night on our 2 week vacation was at this hotel. Had breakfast the next morning and one room came with breakfast, no idea why?
Pros: The hotel and rooms were very attractive and clean. The restaurant was fine.
Cons: The room was on the warm side and the only bedding was a duvet. We prefer a sheet with a blanket.
Pros: Great large room with all facilities incl wifi. Great breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Great evening meal in restaurant.
We are world travelers staying in 3-4 star chain hotels, we wish every hotel was this good! We never heard one plane take off!
Stay here. We cancelled a city centre hotel in Cork on arrival because of traffic and limited parking. i.e. No parking!
Stay at this hotel ! You will be pleased. Staff are very helpful too!
Pros: Fantastic. Stayed 7 nights, would go back to Ireland just to stay at this hotel. Rooms were big, comfortable, and clean. Staff was wonderful, especially Manny at the front desk. Went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Restaurants were good, location was central to everything. Highly recommend !
Pros: Excellent, clean hotel with an extremely convenient location. It was a wonderful value for the price.
Pros: Next to airport. Nice, clean room. Helpful staff.

The Garryvoe is a little off the beaten path, but it is worth the drive. We were upgraded to an oceanview Jr Suite. Beautiful!! We had a stressful day and the instant we stepped into this wonderful room, all the stress was gone. Large room with a large bathroom that had a shower with many nozzles and a jacuzzi for two. We only wish that we had stayed there a little longer. The restaurant was also good. The staff was very friendly.

Pros: The Kingsley was a great place to settle down
In Cork. The staff were professional and took pride in
their work. The rooms were nice and clean. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: I didn't mind this actually but the Kingsley is about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. You could take a cab or walk it. The reason i didn't mind was because it was far enough away that you weren't surrounded by the noise.

Pros: The person who checked us in was nice and friendly. He carried our heaviest suitcase up the stairs for us. They served us tea and scones after we checked in to our room.
This used to be a house. There is more than one building and they are not connected. Rooms were very clean and well kept. Staff was very nice and attentive.
Pros: Staff was great. Gave us a bigger room. Room was clean and well kept.
In spite of the noise issue from the University, I would unquestionably stay at Garnish House again. It is an excellent establishment.
Pros: The welcome tea was delightful. Breakfast was superb. Overall level of staff service was excellent.
Cons: The B&B is located directly across the street from University College Cork. I was in a room directly facing UCC and every night rowdy drunken students were out in the street until 3AM. I doubt this is a problem in the back rooms - just the ones in front.
Great service, great room, Fantastic food! Greatly recommended.
Pros: The hotel has a fantastic service- perhaps the best I've experienced in B&Bs. The food was great too. An afternoon tea on arrival was a great little addition to an overall fantastic experience.
Cons: It is a bit of a walk (15 min) from the city center, but, on the other hand, it is located right across from the University, which is a nice area.
I would recommend this place. I t was just what we needed.
Pros: the staff was so helpful and friendly. the food was great. it was a rainy day and we had even traveling all day and it was so wonderful to mey at the door and offered tea and an assortments of sweets before we had to unload the car.

Pros: - very friendly staff
- humongous pool
- hot tub
- largest hotel gym I've seen
- very clean
- English tv :-)
- prompt room service
- great price
- walking distance to cork in very safe community
Cons: - dinner service was poor. Took a lengthy amount of time to get the bill by asking another waiter
- would be nice for reserved parking for hotel guests vs event guests
Pros: quiet hotel, non invasive staff, good parking, good leisure club
Pros: I asked for the radio in my room to be fixed and it was fixed by the time I got back that evening which was great. The best facility was the swimming pool - really lovely pool.
Cons: The lift! doors slow to close. If stairs were available and signposted I'd prefer to use them.
Pros: A very nice hotel, will book again.
Cons: No coffee making facilities in room.
Pros: It was a nice stroll from the hotel to the city.
Cons: I seems now in Ire most 4* Hotels are cutting back and all the guest is left with is functionality, however not even this could be delivered here. A teenage party in one a function room was let continue late into the night, out into the hallways, complete with boy racer stunts in the car park, no sleep. Also typical of these hotels, the traditional Irish breakfast is ruined by these large self-service covered trays with rashers, scrambled? eggs etc, cooked god knows when and dumped into these trays, with the self-digging pleasure left to the "guest". There was a complete lack of any visible manager at all, perhaps they only look in via the web to see occupancy. I noted a little Best Western logo in the bedR, checked not on website, uncool!
Pros: Reception staff were lovely. Breakfast food was very nice
Cons: No spare pillows available in room. No Tea Making facility in room. Staff at breakfast were very un welcoming
Pros: Good hotel facilities, standard of room, Hotel easy to find, Found it easy to get to main routes to tour the area.
Pros: We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was a very private setting and we enjoyed the fact that we could come and go without any disturbance.
Cons: Just a minor detail cups and cutlery were not changed every day
Pros: We liked the location. Situated on a hill overlooking the city and just a nice distance for a brisk walk downhill into the city only about 15 minutes. However, returning is all up hill so on some occasions we had to opt for taxis which were all very reasonably priced. The hotel was spotless and very comfortable and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Good selection of food and reasonably priced. Gym facilites were excellent - all new varied machines as recently installed and brand new pool, jacuzzi , steam room and sauna. We used all these facilities 2 days running.
Pros: The staff were very friendly, the location is great - a thoroughly enjoyable visit,to be repeated.
Pros: The staff were friendly and the place was clean.
Cons: I had a chicken wrap at the bar which was very disappointing. Instead of a wrap I got what looked like a chicken stew in soy sauce that was quite spicy and not at all what you expect from the menu. Also scrambled egg in the morning had far too much salt in it! The hotel is being renovated and it was a long treck to my room and confusing when the lift didn't work. I thought I left something in my room and rang the hotel. Housekeeping were to call me back but I still haven't heard from them. I since found what I was looking for!
