The staff was very helpful and personable. It was extremely clean the beds were comfortable the shower was amazing the breakfast better than most free breakfasts. Felt safe and comfortable
I didn't like that I didn't have any money to top. due to an extremely rough day prior to arriving at the hotel. Next time I stay I will make up for it.
Staff was very nice. Free shuttle to downtown. Asked for a quiet room, got a quiet room. Big rooms. Nice shower. Free parking. Cute bar downstairs with a really nice bartender.
Semi-seedy location, just wouldn't go walking around by yourself at night. A/c kept going on and off, so we were either super cold or hot.
Upon arrival we were greated NY friendly and very helpful staff.
Night front desk service was incredibly rude and crass and didn't seem to care about either. I would not return bas we on the night staff's attitude ever again!!!
Not too far from Old World section of Milwaukee. Made the walk once. Room was nice enough. Its got everything you need (fridge, safe, decent shower, A/C, etc.) . The staff looked like work release clients from a halfway house but they were all fairly friendly and helpful with directions and carrying bags. Cheap.
WiFi had serious issues. Would drop and stay down for hours. Had I known that I would have never stayed. The neighborhood isnt ideal. Lock your car. When I asked about the shuttle taking me to the airport they told me they wouldnt recommend it because sometimes the driver "oversleeps" and to take a cab or a bus instead. This was fine for a single adult male staying a couple days with a vehicle. Probably wouldnt recommend a family on an extended trip though.
Excellent value. Free breakfast. Free WiFi. Clean.
It was a busy weekend and they did not have sufficient parking.
Front Desk Staff was great!
Cleanliness of the sheets when ready to turn down for the night, looked like there was blood stains on sheets. When calling down for service to get new sheets they brought them up but we had to change the dirty sheets and did not give us all new bedding just a fitted and a flat sheet.
Great breakfast and free shuttle if willing to wait a bit.
Shower was hard to shut off and bathroom not the cleanest. Also front desk was always busy with in person or calls.
We only stayed one night while we made a trip up to a Brewers game while we were staying in Chicago. The hotel has a shuttle that will take you to the game and back for $10. We didn't use this feature, but it is a nice one to have if you don't have a car. They will also shuttle you anywhere within 2 miles for free. The room was clean and quiet. Parking and wifi are free. Parking filled up at night when we returned from the baseball game, but we parked on the street with no problems. The free breakfast was typical of a free breakfast, but when trying to save a little money it is a nice feature to have.
Do not leave valuables in your car or anything that looks tempting. We did witness a man walking around checking in cars and pulling on handles. When he saw us watching he got in his car (with a child in the front seat!) and drove off.
Sketch place for sure.... too many other options in the area to even consider this hotel.
Sketchy, sketchy place. I personally should have done better research , as I am unfamiliar with Milwaukee, but this was bad nights stay. We walked in and were welcomed by a dirty elevator. The community room on our floor looked to have been used for a party of some sort and it was filthy and full of trash. No staff member was seeing to it. Our room looked to be in pretty good shape. At about 11pm the smoke alarm went off in the hall way. I am assuming it was a false alarm from some one smoking in a room or stairwell. The fire department did arrive, but we were not given any instruction from the staff so we stayed in our room. Our rooms alarm was not going off. After about 15 mins of the alarm going off it stopped and we were able to sleep. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone who can afford something nicer.
The hotel looked nice in photos and has a nifty external appearance. That was the extent of out positive experience. A pervasive odor or cheap cleaning products, dirty carpet, poor wi-fi connectivity were all disappointing. We should have known something was off when we got on the elevator and saw that the floor was covered with yellowing piece of poorly installed vinyl flooring. There was trash in the hallway and the rooms were very small.
