Pros. The staff was very nice. The room was very nicely done and updated. Our room luckily faced nicer new apartments, however a sign on the fence of the new homes said “no loitering or prowling” The air conditioner was cold but very loud. Location and customers were terrifying.
Cons. When we arrived we had to drive around all the people loitering in the parking lot. Watched a drug deal in the parking lot. The entire hotel smelled of marijuana. Got in the elevator to find two people high, taking to themselves. Made it to our room and the chaos began. Yelling and screaming from rooms around us. It was around 7pm so we decided people were just exited to get into their rooms. Came back around 10pm to what appeard to be a prostitute and her John in the hall Way and heard loud music and yelling the entire night. I’m talking music like loud bass from your 18 year old car. Called and went down to the front desk. The girl at the desk was apologizing and sent security up to the room. The people would turn the music down and then turn it right back up once the security left. Constant banging of doors and yelling all night. I don’t recommend staying here unless you want to be on a drug bust on an episode of cops.
Pros. Room was ok
Cons. Staff, building, management etc...
Pros. Location is great for our purposes.
Cons. Heater in room only operated on High Fan. Was extremely noisy. Low fan DID NOT work. Noisy hallway at 2AM and again at 3AM. Breakfast, normally very good, was cold this trip.
Cons. Definitely not what was advertised. Room was dirty, stains on chair, curtains, phone was filthy, tv wouldn't turn on. Would not return to this hotel.
Cons. Originally put me in a smoking room without asking if that was alright. Switched me into regular room after I complained. A nasty old tea bag left next to phone. Never followed thru on wake up call the morning I requested one.
Pros. The staff was very helpful and personable. It was extremely clean the beds were comfortable the shower was amazing the breakfast better than most free breakfasts. Felt safe and comfortable
Cons. I didn't like that I didn't have any money to top. due to an extremely rough day prior to arriving at the hotel. Next time I stay I will make up for it.
Pros. Staff was very nice. Free shuttle to downtown. Asked for a quiet room, got a quiet room. Big rooms. Nice shower. Free parking. Cute bar downstairs with a really nice bartender.
Cons. Semi-seedy location, just wouldn't go walking around by yourself at night. A/c kept going on and off, so we were either super cold or hot.
Pros. Upon arrival we were greated NY friendly and very helpful staff.
Cons. Night front desk service was incredibly rude and crass and didn't seem to care about either. I would not return bas we on the night staff's attitude ever again!!!
Pros. Not too far from Old World section of Milwaukee. Made the walk once. Room was nice enough. Its got everything you need (fridge, safe, decent shower, A/C, etc.) . The staff looked like work release clients from a halfway house but they were all fairly friendly and helpful with directions and carrying bags. Cheap.
Cons. WiFi had serious issues. Would drop and stay down for hours. Had I known that I would have never stayed. The neighborhood isnt ideal. Lock your car. When I asked about the shuttle taking me to the airport they told me they wouldnt recommend it because sometimes the driver "oversleeps" and to take a cab or a bus instead. This was fine for a single adult male staying a couple days with a vehicle. Probably wouldnt recommend a family on an extended trip though.
Pros. Excellent value. Free breakfast. Free WiFi. Clean.
Cons. It was a busy weekend and they did not have sufficient parking.
