Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful place, very clean. Food was excellent.
Cons: I would have liked to hear more of the history of the house upon checking in. I also don't feel as though I spent enough time in the room to make it worth what I paid. If you're going to spend a lot of time on the property, it would be worth the money.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast in bed, fresh cookies & scones, beautiful room, friendly & helpful owner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and beautiful with a huge whirlpool tub. The house had a comfortable porch surrounded by flowers and plants. The breakfast was delicious. Most of all, Kelly was a wonderful host.
Cons: Nothing - it was a perfect get-away
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved how adorable and cozy our room was. The bathtub was pure excellence with a fireplace right next to it. The bed was super comfy too. We absolutely loved having breakfast delivered to us each morning and they made us the most amazing gluten free waffles ever. Kelly was so helpful and even went out of her way to buy us a bottle of wine at the store. I couldn’t recommend this place more!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about it! The big porch with the comfy glider chairs, candles and blankets. Wish I’d had more time to sit there. The room was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. Pillows and linens were top notch. The breakfasts were something to look forward to!
Cons: The lighting in the bathroom was a little dim for putting on makeup. I had a really hard time opening the shades but somehow my husband didn’t. Neither were a big deal. I’d stay here again!

Pros: The decor was charming and full of character. Lots of neat retro items but not cluttered or overdone. The location was ideal for walking along the waterfront, exploring the town and strolling to dinner. Comfortable beds and helpful staff made our stay most enjoyable.

Pros: The history of the hotel and the 50'S theme. I felt right at home. We even made a campfire in the evening and met some interesting people.
7.9 Good
Pros: The retro theme!
Cons: The patchouli air freshener was too much. We had to open windows to clear the air.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the most unique place I’ve ever stayed in Door County. The owners clearly love what they’ve created and the environment is adorable and so well curated.
Cons: The rooms are small, at least the one I stayed in was, which was fine as I was traveling solo.

Pros: Very clean, nice staff. Breakfast had a nice selection of food, cereal, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, muffins, pastries and toast. Loved the 50's furniture & atmosphere.
Cons: Bed was VERY firm. I like to take my breakfast to my room and a sign in the kitchen asked patrons not to do that.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The room was very nice. Very large!
Cons: There was no way of getting food anywhere on the property. The outdoor pool was closed even though it was still summer. There was no easily accessible way to get to the waterfront. When I did get across the stones to get over there, everything was covered in spider webs. It was our honeymoon and my husband’s birthday and the only thing the staff did was give a little bag of trail mix. I had to pay $50 for them to do anything else and even then, my choices were EXTREMELY limited. The resort was too far to walk to any place with food. Very inconvenient.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was super nice...just perfect for my group. Our room was clean, well maintained, had everything we'd need yo make meals. Our view from the room was phenomenal! Would highly recommend to anyone coming up to Door County!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our third stay here. The facility and suites are wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect. Rooms are clean. Staff is very professional.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic property. The suite was a perfect size for the 4 of us, gave us plenty of space to cook and relax and chill out. Our two girls loved the swimming pools, we spent over 1 1/2 hours a day playing in them. The whirlpool was a welcome treat for us adults.
Cons: Nothing - great property in a great location.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views, clean rooms,
Cons: Outside building needing washing
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The guests above us were noisy—not enough sound control between floors
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was like a cloud .. restful sleep
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view. The staff
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular grounds! Best Bay view in Door County! Very nice unit, staff was polite and attentive. We booked at the last minute for our wedding anniversary and fell in love with the views and sounds of water lapping at the shore as we sat on the pier bench!
Cons: When we checked in we walked into bedroom to find the carpeting was sopping wet and musty smell. The gentleman at the desk was very attentive and concerned, the only solution was a small fan running all night on the floor to help dry the carpet. The blind header in bedroom was broken and fell off, and when you come into bedroom there is garbage again the wall behind tv unit, hard not to see it as it is a direct sight line when entering the room. The kitchen clock glass is cracked, when we told the front desk he said it probably was from a beer party. The baseboard trim in bathrooms is very old and painted slopped all over it and caulking. The showers have mold/mildew on bottom door runner and master shower stall has no light so it’s a dimly light shower in the morning. These are all things that could be taken care of quickly and not for a ton of money, so it was disappointing to pay this kind of money to have sloppy work, wet carpeting, and broken/unkept items such as this. I bet the unit owner will not be happy about how the maintenance team is handling their rental. Westwood Shores Management Team - you can do better! The view is advertised as water which is true of living room and it is awesome! The bedroom views lack the stunning water views as it is a corner unit, and the view is a small patio area and exterior walls.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great suites, beautiful location, breathtaking views, great off season prices.
Cons: No

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: musty smell, bed and pillows stunk like BO We couldn’t sleep from the bad smell, had to cover the pillows with towels to sleep at least a couple hours. The room was so crowded I stumped my pinky toe twice with the bottom of the bed and bumped my leg. Still in pain and bruised. When I stated my concern to the front desk associate she tried offering us another room. Went in and still musty and pillows still stinky. She spoke to the manager and came back to tell me, while I was in the common room for coffee, and said “you paid for lady night so you can leave when you want”. It was embarrassing since another couple was sitting next to me. I checked out and nothing offered for our inconvenience and they’re lack to have freshly clean rooms. Left and drove farther and after an hour found another place to end our getaway to celebrate my 50th Birthday!

Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Exceeded our expectations. Was clean and beautiful. Highly recommend.
Cons: The furniture was well worn.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was clean
Cons: Lots of dead knats and mosquitos on the ceiling. Bed headboard could use replacing. it is too noisy.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cozy. Right on the water. Quiet. Friendly staff.
Cons: Place is older. Could use some love. Overgrown or dead shrubs around porch. Old wallpaper in bath peeling.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice and the view and location was super. A great value for the money and staff was very accomodating.
Cons: Was able to see some of the cottages also and likes #4, but would highly suggest removing the carpet and going with a pet friendly flooring.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Place was a dump, marketing really sold what it wasn't! Room was in need of a lot of repair, broken chairs, loose sink, damaged light switches. Common amenities were missing like no ice. Staff had no clue what was going on. Have boat slips but fail to tell you no launch. Place was extremely disappointing!
6.7 Good
Pros: We loved being able to sit at a little bistro table on the porch outside the room and watch the boats and ducks and drink our anniversary wine! The grounds were clean and there was a picnic table and grill to use if we wanted. In addition a fire pit to enjoy. The room had a nice refrigerator and there was a coffee maker, toaster and microwave as well. In the cabinet there were dishes and utensils to use. The bathroom and shower were good size for a small room. Good size closet also. We liked that there were 2 garbage receptacles. One for garbage and one for recyclables. Most of the time when we stay somewhere, we have to bring our recyclables with us.
Cons: We didn't like that the minute we walked in the room,it smelled extremely musty. My husband has breathing issues and so we needed to see if we could get it aired out. We had no screen door and 2 windows but only one screen. We had to run air conditioning constantly and leave door open when there except for sleeping. The bed seemed smaller than a queen, more like a full which was uncomfortable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super value with an excellent view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming, waterfront, well equipped room, lovely friendly staff.
Cons: Booked at the last minute, the room had full beds...that wasn't clear. We made do. Loved this, our second stay.

Pros: very clean!
Cons: There were spots on the carpet
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and, for a resort area, very reasonable. There restaurant was wonderful.
Cons: My only complaint was that the air conditioner in our room was directly above the beds. It was very loud as well. On our particular visit we did not need to use it that night otherwise it would have made for a noisy nights sleep.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Horrible mistake. No elevator, no help, no one at check in, bathroom door locked from the inside and we were on the outside; toilet leaked all night and water was in the room; called their number, no one answered - got message on the answering machine. Decided to pack up and leave - left key in the drop box. Absolutely no amenities in room - no coffee pot, no room telephone, no hair dryer, room not clean, beds ugly and old, carpet stained and stinky, window blind broken and inoperable, breakfast was old, rotten grapes and dried out pastries. I wonder how and why they are in business.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Small local Place that feels alot like a bed and breakfast. Very helpful friendly staff. They have a bar and restaurant, and nice outdoor patio. The facility is a little dated, but it was clean (sheets and towels), good hot water, and comfortable and quiet, and not outrageous on price.
Cons: Pillows were old hard foam.

Cons: No

Pros: The decor was charming and full of character. Lots of neat retro items but not cluttered or overdone. The location was ideal for walking along the waterfront, exploring the town and strolling to dinner. Comfortable beds and helpful staff made our stay most enjoyable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The history of the hotel and the 50'S theme. I felt right at home. We even made a campfire in the evening and met some interesting people.
7.9 Good
Pros: The retro theme!
Cons: The patchouli air freshener was too much. We had to open windows to clear the air.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the most unique place I’ve ever stayed in Door County. The owners clearly love what they’ve created and the environment is adorable and so well curated.
Cons: The rooms are small, at least the one I stayed in was, which was fine as I was traveling solo.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything very clean
Cons: Just noisy people at 7am in hall and diner areas
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, nice staff. Breakfast had a nice selection of food, cereal, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, muffins, pastries and toast. Loved the 50's furniture & atmosphere.
Cons: Bed was VERY firm. I like to take my breakfast to my room and a sign in the kitchen asked patrons not to do that.

Pros: This motel has a wonderful concept...love that the stay there helped to fund local musicians! Otherwise, it is an absolutely fine motel with a nice breakfast. Very much loved the feel of the place, with the 1950's style flourishes.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was convenient to Door county travel. Receptionist was extremely helpful in pointing out places that met our needs.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved staying at Bay Shore Inn! It was very family friendly and had a lot of things for the kids to do besides swimming in both indoor and outdoor pools. Our children are 9 and 12 and they had a blast there. The grounds were super clean and quiet. Beautiful scenery too! We are definitely going back!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The views were spectacular. Rooms are large and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of cabinet space in both the kitchen and bathrooms.
Cons: The pool chairs could be nicer. No restaurant on site. It would be nice if they would have an ice machine available for when you first arrive. However, the freezer did make some ice rather quickly. Could use another bath towel in each bathroom.
7.1 Good
Pros: Sitting out at the lake during the afternoon and watching the sunset was nice. The property was pretty and well manicured. Our reception was less than warm, we were greeted by what's your name (no smile), here's your keys and room number / building is to the right???? Not what I was expecting at all, could have been a bad day for the front desk person ???? We were given no information about the complex or amenities the property offered. I guess I could have asked but I was taken aback by her aloofness. Doubt we would return to this property.
Cons: The unit we stayed in was ok. Living room was very comfortable with a partial lake view, though the deck was not what we expected.....barely room for two with a partial lake view for one, and the air conditioner to the bedroom took up 1/3 of that space. The bed was not comfortable at all, neither my husband or I slept well either night.
7.5 Good
Pros: Family vacation with 6 kids and grandbaby- awesome place
Cons: Small outside pool was occupied for hours by one group but not the fault of lodge
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything you could possibly want was available ... loved the fire pit with the wood right there available . Took advantage of the kayaks . Best sunset views
Cons: Nothing I can honestly say
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable. Room was perfect.
Cons: Our TV did not work in our room. Channel wouldn’t change. Not a huge deal but a little inconvenient.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location and all the amenities at hand.
Cons: Nothing really comes to mind.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view, lots of activities to do, great staff, the place is absolutely beautiful
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location, on the bay, away from town just far enough to have some quiet surroundings. The staff was friendly, the place was clean. It may have been the time of year, but it was just peaceful.
Cons: Microwave did not work, they said they would fix it. So no problem. Our biggest complaint is the smoking that was allowed at the front door.
