Friendly front desk staff. Great price. Overall good experience. It was a very unexpectedly hot day for October and the AC wasn’t working great. Room was stuffy.

AI-powered summary based on hotel reviews by KAYAK users. AI can make mistakes.

Opt for a Room with a View

Several guests mentioned that the views from the rooms were spectacular. Opting for a room with a balcony facing the fountain comes highly recommended.

Consider Bringing Earplugs

Some guests noted that noise from other guests in the hallways could be disruptive, so packing earplugs might be helpful for light sleepers.

Check Room Amenities

Guests appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, but some mentioned issues with air conditioning and heating. It might be beneficial to confirm room amenities and temperature control before booking.

Explore Nearby Attractions

The hotel's central location makes it convenient for accessing nearby attractions such as Lake of the Isles, Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, and Walker Art Center, providing plenty of options for leisure activities.

Inquire About Allergy-Friendly Options

Guests with allergies appreciated the availability of allergy-conscious cookies at check-in. It might be worth contacting the hotel in advance to inquire about allergy-friendly room options and amenities.

Consider Breakfast Alternatives

While some guests enjoyed the delicious cookies provided, others found the breakfast buffet overpriced and unimpressive. Exploring nearby dining options or bringing along breakfast items could be a good alternative.

Confirm Bed Preferences

Some guests encountered issues with bed sizes, receiving a queen bed instead of a king bed. It's advisable to confirm bed preferences during the booking process to ensure a comfortable stay.

Plan for Pool Use

While the pool and hot tub were praised for being clean and great, a few guests found the main pool to be a little chilly. Planning pool visits during quieter times might enhance the experience.

Inquire About Room Temperature Control

Some guests experienced challenges with room temperature control, particularly in warmer weather. It could be helpful to inquire about room cooling options, especially during high season visits.

Check for Special Requests

Guests appreciated the helpful and friendly staff, but some encountered issues with special requests not being fulfilled. It might be beneficial to confirm any special requirements in advance to ensure a smooth stay.
