Cons: I cannot think of anything.

Pros: Great location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really enjoyed our stay here; the location was perfect, our room was gorgeous, and Daniel made our stay extra special with the romantic package: a bottle of cava, fresh fruit platter, flowers, a personal photo and a little quote printed out for my wife. Do note that there are stairs to the room and while we were perfectly soundproofed from the outside we could hear our neighbors television when they turned it up loud. Still, was the perfect stop on our honeymoon.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about the apartment, tastefully done. Comfortable bed with lovely linen and towels. Our host was very attentive and popped in to make sure we were comfortable.
Cons: A blutooth speaker would make this apartment perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was absolutely amazing! It is just as the pictures show, with all the nice touches. The location is excellent, right in the centre and literally about 25 metres the the Haro town square. The apartment is around a 5-10 minute walk to all the main bodegas such a Roda, Muga etc.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved this hotel so much. It was beautiful; wonderfully restored from an old theatre. They've still got original seats scattered about the place and there were 2 in our room. They've also managed to restore traditional elements like the domed staircase, a stone chimney and best of all the wine cellar downstairs. We didn't have time for a drink here but it was nice and cool so an ideal sanctuary in the summer heat! The terrace was nicely done too - lots of shade - and breakfast was dreamy. Fresh fruit, meats, cheese, bread and tomate, plus cakes and pastries. Laura and her staff were very welcoming and hospitable. Laura even arranged a wine tour for us but we didn't end up going as it was out of town and we "accidentally" drank too much wine in Haro. Oops. Beautiful location, really off the beaten path. You do need a car though.
Cons: Check-out could have been a bit quicker.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the very best hotels/B&B's that I have EVER stayed at! Everything was 100% perfect, every detail! A charmingly renovated theater, in a peaceful village, with cute little bells of the church every 15 minutes: GREAT! And there is even a nice public swimming pool very nearby so the children could swim for only 3 euro. What a great B&B!
Cons: Everything was PERFECT!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!! From the moment you walk in you are transported into the element of the property! The room was incredible and they are all themed. There’s so much beautiful history in this building. The courtyard was so great to just hang out during siesta hours with some wine and cheese. Laura was so helpful and sent us to some great places for views and meals as the village doesn’t have much. The rooms were so comfortable and breakfast was incredible!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bedroom and facilities were excellent, ideal location in central position and very welcoming management.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exquisite hotel, beautifully refurbished I have stayed in 5 star hotels and they are not as good as this hotel! Themed decor in every room, stylish and chic, but not just appearances, super powerful showers, fluffy white towels, comfortable bed, fantastic breakfast, not forgetting the owners who are so friendly and go out of thier way to make you feel like you are special!
Cons: Nothing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: - The staff, Laura & Jose are great hosts. They care a lot about any single person and make you feel special. - The breakfast is homemade and delicious - The room was super special and with a great atmosphere
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Teatrisso has to be one of the loveliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Not only is the hotel absolutely beautiful, full of history and clean as a whistle, the owners and staff were outstanding and the breakfast was delicious. 100 out of 10!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful, helpful hostess who helped keep us organized. Great location right in the middle of the town. Super old place with out door seating area for breakfast and, again, our hostess was very attentive wanting to get things just so. Town square with bar quite busy with local people and a very good restaurant five minutes walk away where we were looked after very well.
Cons: A restaurant at the hotel would have been nice. There was a parking restriction in the town centre from midnight on Friday through the midnight on Sunday. It was not really a problem to move the car 300 meters away, out of the old town just something we didn't know about. Cars are allowed in for pick ups and drop offs, luggage etc .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Super helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful hotel, nice decor and outdoor area. Bed was comfy and breakfast was amazing. We loved the idea of the honesty bar.
Cons: Nothing.

9.5 Excellent (226 reviews)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything in the hotel was great. It's an old 17th century building, but it's very well done and has been thoughtfully renovated. There was a rainforest shower that also has jets from the wall (you'd probably expect to see it in a modern 4 or 5 start hotel, but never in a medieval building). Another thoughtful detail - there are automatic window blinds that prevent the room from getting too light in the morning. The breakfast deserves a special mentioning - it's delicious, and the quality of products is very good. The owner is very nice and friendly, she helped us arrange a visit to one of the bodegas nearby, gave a lot of useful recommendations and even lent us bikes to go to the neighbouring town.
Cons: I can't think of anything I didn't like, everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant 4 night stay. Beautiful large room with large terrace and incredible views of the vineyards and mountains. Highly recommend this gracious home and it’s kind staff.
Cons: The town of San Vincente de la Sonsierra didn’t have much to offer in dining. Could have been the time of year (early October) although the grape harvest was in full swing. No reflection on Casa Boticario.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very kind and beautiful room
Cons: Breakfast was sparse
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is so beautifully decorated throughout with numerous lounges , library & elegant dining room. Our room was large & very comfortable with a terrace overlooking vineyards. The breakfast was delicious, continental, with fresh Orange juice & lots of fresh fruits.Bread & cakes. There was an honesty bar stocked with wines & spirits & tea & coffee available, with indoor or outdoor seating. The owner was so friendly & very helpful with suggestions of what to do & where to go.

Cons: Eggs provided for breakfast would have been great but the breakfast was still wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic boutique hotel in great location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a view from our room! We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel and particularly appreciated the very warm welcome and friendly advice which were provided. The breakfasts were of a high class. The internet worked very well. The owners have created a great, modern hotel from the shell of the family home which they once occupied. The town is very centrally located for visiting the Rioja region and its wineries.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a very elegant house in a central location of San Visente de la Sonsierra and San Vicente is in the Heart of the Rioja Alta. It is the perfect location for visiting wineries in the Rioja Alta, specially during the Vendimia.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cute hotel in a small medieval town. This old house of a pharmacist has been beautifully converted into a hotel. Lots of the old furniture has been restored and the place almost feels like a museum. The owners are very helpful in giving recommendations to explore the area.
Cons: Some eggs for breakfast would be nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved this hotel! Room was quite large and quiet, bed was very comfortable, and shower was excellent. The woman that owns it was extremely helpful. And the village of St. Vincente de la Sonsierra is just so charming.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely family hotel with great hosts . exceeded all our expectations ! Not only the hotel itself , also the village ,the scenery , the surroundings and above all the different wineries (Bodegas) . Special mention for the hosts (Pedro & Irena) always ready to help out and give us useful information. Like many other visitors we appreciated the breakfast (huge variety - local food & healthy food) ! But also the spacious room / clean bathroom ...
Cons: Not applicable
4.3 Okay
Pros: We had no hot water for our showers, we asked the owner to come and look at the shower, and he tried to get it hot, but when he ran the water it was still only tepid, no apology! This is a basic need, so we would not recommend this hotel! They also switched off the WiFi late at 12.15, once again when it states free WiFi at anytime that’s what you expect! On checking out the owners wife said that her husband should have offered us another room for our showers, we explained that he did not, so we had no shower during our stay......not good enough! We were given a discount of €10, but this is not what we needed, our hot shower was a necessity after travelling! Avoid this hotel if you need a hot shower.
Cons: No hot water for a shower, and no apology! WiFi was not on all the time, although they advertise it to be available at all times!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place! I just loved it. Hotel staff were the best! I will definitely come back. Highly recommend . Ahhh, not expensive at all ;)

Pros: Friendly and cosy in a pitoresque village with greate views. Easy access to country side and nearby wineries.
Cons: unfortunaterly the village is being depopulated and many of the houses are mere ruins.

Pros: Owners were very welcoming. The breakfast was excellent with lovely bread, eggs and local honey, cheese and ham.
Cons: No tea and coffee facilities or fridge. Restaurant choices were limited to the bar on the square (which was fine for a couple of nights). Parking is a bit problematic!

Pros: Beautiful old farmhouse with fantastic scenery Easy to access from main roads Superb food and such a lovely welcome from Maribel and her husband
Cons: Absolutely nothing to dislike
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Maribel and her husband were lovely. The bedroom was comfortable, well presented and spotless with nice touches such as lace on the pillows. It was a very quiet location apart from the occasional train passing nearby (which didn't bother us). There was a choice of free drinks available in the evening, including wine. There was a fridge and microwave available.
Cons: It is several miles from the nearest shops or restaurants. We stayed 4 nights and, although it was OK, we had the same breakfast every day - there was no choice.

Owners were very friendly and helpful and laid on a great breakfast spread with everything you could think of including homemade cakes in the morning!
Cons: Just a shame the bar and restaurant were closed and no cushions outside to sit in the outdoor furniture.

Had dinner in restaurant both nights, very convenient as no other restaurants nearby. Good food, very nice selection of wines. We had an excellent time. Can highly recommend

Pros: The amazing art everywhere which was hand painted by the owner, who also made all the ceramics - amazing!
Cons: We liked everything
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A very different experience, totally remote village surrounded by the Rijoca Vineyards.
Cons: No restaurant at all in the village so we were recommended a 'local' one the next door village... this was a very basic rural bar which managed to provide one plate of chorizo, lumps of cheese and rough ham . No plates or anything. All very 'genuine'but don't expect anything else round there.! The tower while very comfy and well prepared was to my mind very dark with just arrow slit windows and one small window door. What did I expect you might ask?!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place to stay. In the middle of nowhere, but worth the trip. This accommodation is a work of love and it shows.
Cons: No WiFi in room, but it worked in the common area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was amazing, The tower was beautiful comfortable, romantic, with great views of the town. The owner was very friendly. We were so glad that we took a detour to be able to stay in this place. Highly recommend this place!
Cons: The only thing I did not like is that we did not stay there longer!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room décor was the antidote to chain hotels. The owner is a ceramics artist & had done the whole place out in medieval style. There was even period music at breakfast. Half expected it to be served by Edmund & Melchett.
Cons: Selected private parking & aircon filters on Booking.com. This place had neither. Latter not necessary due to thick walls. Former led to us parking down the street & getting snotty notices left on our windscreen

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff/family were lovely. Great breakfast and super dinner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The situation, on the edge of the Rioja area is excellent. The view from our room over the Rioja Alavesa over to the Sierras on the other side was great. The room was well equipped and very comfortable, and the internal and room decorations were very tasteful and had clearly had much spent on them. The food was excellent, with a very nicely cooked and presented evening meal, and a substantial and varied breakfast. The hotel has its own Rioja wine label and both red and white were of superb high quality (we bought extra to take away). Staff were helpful and pleasant. A nice extra touch was a water cooler machine on the mid landing (first floor, the rooms are on first and second floor) where you could fill glass (very important - not plastic) bottles provided for the room. Oh, and the parking onsite is good and secure (not that crime will be a problem in the attractive little village).
Cons: Can't think of anything that could be improved.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An amazing hotel with a really exclusive and friendly feel. The traditional stone building is very impressive and the interior is tranquil and relaxing with a great mix of traditional and modern features. The bedroom and ensuite was very well presented and felt spacious especially with the high ceilings and the thick exterior walls really help to keep the whole place cool, which given the incredibly hot weather we encountered was a real bonus. The food and beverage side is equally as impressive as the accommodation and we ate in for most meals during our stay; the breakfast was fresh and wholesome with fruit, yogurt, honey, cereals and a cooked breakfast with all of the usual accompaniments. Dinner was a simple menu of sharing tapas, starters, mains and desserts and everything we experienced was prepared to perfection! Almost goes without saying that the choice of wines and other drinks available was epic and at such reasonable prices too. The staff were also really friendly, helpful and accommodating to any requests we had during our stay.

Pros: A very modernistic hotel that surprises with you it’s design and thoroughly modern design. It may not be for everyone with the shower and sinks in the midst of the room but we enjoyed this unique design. All the public places were modern and spacious. Wonderful terrace overlooking the river and a very nice restaurant and wine bar. The town is so quiet and small which makes this a very relaxing place from which to explore Rioja.

Pros: Very beautiful hotel with wonderful original features, such as the waterfall in the cellar with seating to enjoy a glass of wine. The terrace is stunning with great views of the river and perfect for another glass of wine! Great location and a scenic walk along the river to Haro for a day of more wine tasting. Pros: Beautiful location, great food, great staff.
Cons: No coffee machine in the room, no complementary water, no robes.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent 3 night stay in this fabulous hotel. The first night was a great experience in the restaurant. The food was cooked really well and very tasty. However the second night was a real disappointment. I had the same dish as my wife had the previous night but this time is was no where near the same standard. The roasted Garlic was well undercooked and the rosemary seemed to be an after thought. the fillet steak was very pale. I did mention this to the staff but only got a shrug of the shoulders. That said I didn't let it spoil are otherwise perfect stay.
Cons: Better consistency in the restaurant.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view from our corner room was AMAZING. The breakfast was great.
Cons: The dinner restaurant at the hotel was not good. The bed was hard, but that's just a Europe thing.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Modern, well-appointed room with a very large and comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with walk-in shower and bidet; excellent self-serve breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Public parking on the street outside the hotel was free when we stayed (Saturday night, all-day Sunday). Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We liked the size and cleanliness of the room, the bathroom arrangement and breakfast. The staff was helpful and nice.
Cons: We had a little difficulty finding a parking place, but we could have always parked in a garage for a fee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Always nice to come back to Sercotel and Miranda de Ebro. It have become a habit to stop here on our way to or from Sweden and futher south.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great property, modern clean well situated in the center of Miranda del Ebro.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Balcony (certain rooms only)
Cons: Breakfast was standard fayre.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very good breakfast. The beds were comfortable except both me and my wife could feel every little movement that the other made, so neither of us got a good nights sleep.
Cons: As above the bed. Also the town of Miranda de Ebro is a rather run down town that was built on the chemical industry. We were there during a festival and joining the locals in their celebrations was very enjoyable, but Miranda is not a tourist trap. Think Widnes with paella.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel in the centre of the city with good all round security including safe underground parking which costs a bit extra but is worth it, room was one of the best I have ever had great shower and was very comfortable with a good breakfast in the morning and you were not rushed to check out you have till midday.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.

7.5 Good
Pros: Staff was always polite and helpful despite our poor Spanish. The rooms were clean. The view out of our bathroom window was spectacular! The building is old but classic and charming. It was the cherry on top of a beautiful week in Rioja.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good with good choice. For a quiet, relaxing, eco-friendly stay this was perfect. Excellent walking and nature area, but close to Guadalupe and Trujillo for history. Evening meals delicious. Host very knowledgeable and speaks excellent English.
Cons: The track up from the main road is very rocky and could be difficult for some low-slung cars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a very good stay in Brinas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was large and varied . Agreat location for experiencing the Rioja wine region.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Old world charm in the centre of a one-horse town, with 3 bars, gorgeous church, two hotels, River Ebro - serving as the portal to the Rioja region. Hotel was absolutely gorgeous probably 400+ years old...creaky floorboards, old style big heavy doors, beautiful 8nterior stylish decor.
Cons: Not a lot - adjacent to a modern block of flats which overlooked the car parking area so a little circumspect but only a minor concern...
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is located in a historic building. I loved the design, the antique furniture, the atmosphere, the village where the hotel is located, the closeness to well-known wineries. The room was unusually large. Very recommended hotel.
Cons: would have preferred the reception staff to understand English (although everyone was courteous).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Piece and quiet, nice decoration. Staff very friendly. And very very very nice tapas.

Pros: Mirador del Ebro next to the Hotel offers amazing view over La Rioja and Ebro River. Take a stroll next to the Ebro river and enjoy the tranquility! Also, all important Bodegas is Haro are only 5 minutes by car.
Cons: Interior design and wall paintings are at the edge of kitsch.

Pros: This was a beautiful old building and one of the highlights of our trip. It had so much character, the breakfast was good, the staff friendly, the room so quiet and quaint, the village so typical of the area.
7.5 Good
Pros: We thought this was more like an apartment not just a room in a very old property so were disappointed.
Cons: Parking was poor. We had cold showers one morning.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good though even better for someone who eats meat which we don't. We loved our stay here, would recommend it and will definitely go back if we're in the Rioja region again :)

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and history of the hotel. The atrium was especially lovely.
Cons: The attitude of the two people serving at breakfast. Breakfast was served TIL 11 o’clock but they started clearing away exactly at 11 and did not make us at all welcome because we arrived for breakfast at quarter to 11. It was made obvious that we had to be very very quick and they started removing all the items.

Pros: Really nice staff -- room is comfortable. Hotel restaurant is a must try. Best food we have had in Spain!!! (we visited Madrid, Haro and Barcelona)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean with comfortable beds and well functioning air conditioning. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant and the Menú del Día was superb. There is a comfortable patio in a courtyard just outside the hotel as well, which is nice. Overall excellent location in the town.
Cons: There was street parking just outside the hotel, but make sure that you find the meter and pay for parking or you will get a ticket! I did not think to ask about the parking when we arrived, as it appeared to be free.

Pros: The location is central for Haro. The room was a good size. Internet was good
Cons: On site restaurant pretentious for a 3 star hotel and over priced. Shower tray was slippery when wet.

Pros: Lovely room, great location & good outdoor patio.
Cons: I was given an attic room with velux window. The receptionist kindly changed the Room for a bigger brighter one with with windows. Sometimes there was nobody at reception.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location
Cons: Air conditioning very noisy
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, friendly staff
Cons: Personnel at the bar
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location, friendly staff.
Cons: There was a bright light above our door that didn't have a switch to turn it off. I think it was an emergency light, but it was really bright and made it difficult to sleep. I ended up hanging my jacket over it to 'turn it off'. The air conditioner in the room also had really bright lights. Together, these kept the room too bright at night for ideal sleeping conditions.

Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Located in a lovely suburb town that has plenty of restaurants. The hotel itself is beautiful and well kept. Room was large and comfortable with welcoming air conditioning. Staff were friendly. Lovely walk by the river to the main area in town which has a couple of tapas restaurants and a really good pizzeria that we would definately recommend.
Cons: Not much not to like, it is walking distance from the restaurants and shops but it was very hot when we got there so seemed further. On a cooler day it would have been a lovely walk down by the river side.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good shower, nice view of church and square. Very old medieval village by river. Not far from motorway. Hotel building was very old with lots of character. Village very quiet away from bar.
Cons: The bed was too small, the room door did not always lock automatically, very noisy guests, very noisy bar next door, very young children running around and shouting outside until midnight. Not much choice where to eat. Nobody on site for the hotel. No shelves in the bathroom to put things. Very limited car parking. Old wooden shutter windows looked good but did not shut out any noise from outside.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good - served in the bar next door and cooked to order by a very pleasant and efficient lady (very good Spanish bacon with scrambled eggs, etc.). Indoor parking; pleasant old Spanish building on the main square. It was cool, quiet, characterful, and agreeably unpretentious.
Cons: Nothing really.
7.0 Good
Pros: Beautifully restored old building. Tastefully decorated and very clean.
Cons: Rather noisy if you are out of phase with the Spanish way of life due to location at the village main square. Diner facilities in village are rather limited.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Having stayed here two years ago, it was reassuring that it is still a perfect place to arrive after a day of trekking: comfortable, well maintained, with the charm of an old place brought to modern standards.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very rustic but very different to you typical hotel
7.5 Good
Pros: The town and the hotel where very nice and comfortable
Cons: Unfortunately we arrived on a Monday when the bar and the restaurant where closed we would have liked to have known this before we booked.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very historical in architecture but the room was modern and delightful. I especially loved the concealed kitchenette! The room was tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed. The shower room was extremely modern and the whole room was spotlessly clean. The communal areas were interesting with lots of artefacts dotted around. Parking was also excellent.
Cons: Getting into the hotel reception area was a problem as the door was locked. There was a bit of difficulty locating the reception staff member who was not in the building.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very accommodating, we required a fridge to store some products, our room did not have a fridge but the staff were happy to put the items in the hotel’s fridge.
Cons: Due to the warm weather and we were on the top floor even though we had aircon and the windows open, it was still quite warm
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The building was fantastic staff very helpful it was a very unique place
Cons: The bath had an intrical jacuzzi which did not work if you have the facilities they should work
6.8 Good
Pros: Querky but good hotel

9.3 Excellent
Pros: amazing place, the jacuzzi in the bathroom is a great asset, clean and in a very nice, local village
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very traditional, lovely building and location, great rooms and super breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An amazingly elegant room of old fashioned charm with plenty of room for our dog and a view directly on the beautiful facade of the neighbouring church. The whole building oozes history and tales. The bathroom was super luxurious with an enormous jacuzzi under a romantic mural. The bed extremely comfortable. Great value for money !
Cons: A fine place like that needs no negative comment at all according to our experience there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely and very comfortable. It was peaceful. The breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The facilities for food and drink in the hotel. There was no restaurant open in the town that night and we had no choice to even get a snack.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The bedroom was nice
Cons: The bathroom was tatty. Lights not working, bath was Filthy and broken. Toilet rim was filthy. As soon as we walked into the reception the entrance door was locked behind us, this made us feel insecure. The male manager who received us at reception was grumpy and told us we could not leave our small dog in the room whilst we had breakfast or dinner. I asked for the Bar to get a beer and was told to go out in the garden with our dog. The garden was poorly kept, the grass was not cut. It was sunny and hot and no soft furnishings to sit on. I was told to move my car so now I stood up and said I had just made a very long journey and will move my car after I had stretched my legs. Breakfast was very very poor with what looked like several days old food re presented again. Coffee pot was practically empty and cold. However the Breakfast lady was helpful and made me some fried eggs. Every time we entered the hotel the front door was locked so you had to put a code into the keypad to get in. The Garden door was locked ! This made the stay feel very insecure. The bathroom was very poor and the photos will tell that story. Plus what is misleading is that there is NO BAR at this establishment.
7.0 Good
Pros: The Hotel is beautiful from the outside and is easy to locate as its clearly one of the larger buildings in the town.
Cons: The 3rd floor room we had had no windows (one skylight in bathroom) which was a problem for us. There was a giant jetted tub that took up plenty of space but alas it had no stopper and we just could not figure out how to operate it. There as a kettle but only tea was supplied and we are coffee drinkers. We did ask at the front desk and were given decaf powder.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Magnificent XV century building, very nice decoration and renovations.
Cons: The pipe smell is some rooms and cold is breakfast room
