Location
Old run down hotel that days inn took over but has not upgrraded. Motel6 is nicer. Felt like sleezy hotel and dirty Worst days inn ever.
Filthy
Nothing
Undersized parking lot, filthy rooms and overall exterior, in a bad part of town as well.
Okay
The location was great. We were there for a concert so we were within walking distance to a number of great restaurants and drinking establishments. The price was also very good in comparison to the other hotels located in the same area. Although the staff was absent from the front desk most of the time, they were friendly when they were present.
The online purchase for the room stated we were getting a "queen" size bed but it clearly was a double. The air conditioner seemed outdated and it was so hot in our room, neither one of us could sleep. Our stay was in early April (in Montana), so it's not like it was the middle of summer and hard to keep cool. The stairwell that we had to use to get to the second floor was terrifying. The smells, stains and grime made me wish I'd worn thick boots instead of flip flops. Grrrossss!
You get what you pay for
Location Parking, usually Very little hassle Staff were kind and helpful
No light switch near main entry of room - when I arrived at 1am I had to feel around in the dark for a lamp Bathroom light switch had a sticky residue on it; same sticky residue was on the side of the TP roll, luckily there was a backup AC turned on (very loudly) but didn't work, and room was quite warm despite being 60s outside during the day and 40s at night But it was very cheap. It wasn't a rip off or anything. You get what you pay for.
Hair in the bed
Price was decent
When my son pulled back the sheets there was two pieces of hair in the bed. Not the maids. Dirty like other reviews mentioned.
Love the location! This hotel is also pet friendly for an affordable pet fee ($15 registered). The staff were warm and friendly and the amenities (breakfast, newspaper, etc.) were a plus. I try to stay here every time I'm in Missoula.
One day I hope they fix the pool. It's a bit of a tease. :)
