Pros: Wonderful restaurant and beautiful area high in the hills. The owners were charming and helpful. It was relaxing and we enjoyed some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten!! Try the Pappardelle with truffles! Magnificent!
Pros: Very friendly staff, location like paradise and fantastic food and wine
Pros: Lovely place, best hosts & amazing food
Pros: The warmth of welcome, excellent food, cleanliness of the property.
Cons: Pillow was uncomfortable, and only one per guest.
Pros: Eleanora and Franco were the perfect hosts of an experience we will treasure forever. The setting of this property is picture perfect, the accommodation amazing including the large double shower and the food and wine were excellent too. A very special place indeed. Imagine eating your breakfast looking out over rolling hills with beautiful music playing in the background. An every day treat for us and the dinners in the restaurant too. While there we also visited San Marino and Brusia which has a great waterfall.
Pros: Amazing hospitality! We even received a complimentary bottle of wine from the host when we left. Breakfast was excellent!!
Cons: No wifi in rooms
Pros: Amazing view, perfect accommodation, great food and wine
When you stay at Azienda Agricola Baccagnano in Brisighella, you'll be in a regional park, within a 5-minute drive of Vena del Gesso Romagnola Regional Park and Donkeys Alley. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Lovely refurbished house. Great bathroom and nice bedroom. Fantastic breakfast venue although the breakfast itself was a little basic. Lovely gardens and lots of space. We would definitely stay again and recommend.
Cons: Air con was not very effective so we had to open window. A ceiling fan would be much better and of course better for the environment. If coming on a motorbike as we did, do not come the booking.com way as the steep and rocky hill was a nightmare! Booking.com should have the right info. The owner did text us the info but we missed it.
Pros: The property is just outside a quaint town and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The apartment which was within an old farmhouse has been renovated to a high standard and was very comfortable. There is lots of outdoor space for wandering and relaxing, which is particularly nice on a warm summer’s evening. The hosts, Marco and Maura, were incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly so it really felt like a home away from home. There is also a tasty breakfast on offer held within the beautiful old chapel which includes delicious honey and fruit from the property. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and hope to return.
Pros: Marco was so flexible, and was very calm when my plane was delayed by several hours, he stayed up very late to welcome me!
Cons: should have stayed longer!
Pros: Marco and his wife are exceptional hosts. Welcoming, inviting and sharing their amazing peaceful place. Stay here with Tuscany at your doorstep and you won’t be disappointed!
Pros: A very friendly host, a beautiful place and excellent breakfast! It has been an absolute pleasure to stay here and we would definitely come again.
Pros: I imagine people scrolling to the review section of different agriturismos, just as I did, trying to make a decision based on them... Will this be the unforgettable Italian countryside experience your wish for? In a nutshell, yes it will - and much more than that. Marco and Maura managed to include that special "something" in every guest's experience that so many strive for - the warmth, the sweet comfort of being far away from home but having everything you need, the feeling of visiting relatives who bring their best homemade products and serve them to you with pride and genuine desire to make your stay as beautiful as they possibly can, the feeling of actually wanting to stay for months rather than setting off to explore Italy further as you originally planned. It is not just the beautifully restored building amidst olive trees, lush green meadows, peach orchards and Marco's vineyard with a thousand birds waking you up every day. Yes, you will find an incredibly beautiful accommodation and peace, arguably the best breakfast you ever had in your life - but what will stay with you for days and months after is Marco's kindness. I will probably never forget his coming to pick us up to the station when floods cut the farm off for days and delayed our trains, making us tired, worried and stressed, just as I won't forget Maura's warm and soothing "If you need anything, we are just next door," making us instantly feel at ease. Marco and his family gave us much more than we hoped for or paid for - and I wish their incredible dedication is met with the joy of as many grateful and happy guests as they can possibly manage. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and please let us know if we can ever repay you your hospitality here in Prague. We already can't wait to go back!
Pros: Everything superb. Welcomed with a smile, amazing breakfast, room with taste for design, all on a winery in brisighella!
Pros: Everything is perfect. Wonderfull hosts.
Pros: The best acomodation in our 10 day trip to emilia romagna. The house is beautiful, recently renovated and full of charm. The owners are the most lovely couple, super hosts, that make us feel as home and as friends since the moment we arrived. The location is also wonderful: 10 minutes walking to the lovely town of brisighella. A great surprise and the best way yo end our trip! 100% recomended!
With a stay at Corte San Ruffillo-Azienda Agrituristica in Dovadola, you'll be 7.1 mi (11.4 km) from Castrocaro Fortress and 13.9 mi (22.4 km) from San Domenico Museum. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. This farm stay has 2 meeting rooms available for events. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service.
Pros: Marvelous location, staff and food.
Pros: We liked the countryside location amidst vineyards, surrounded by an Italian style garden. As we enter inside the main building we were surprised by a monumental stairway elegant and impressive. This was a country residence of a Medici family member! Each of the 14 rooms have a captivating name and a different decor. Ours was at the last floor on the corner , with two windows ( with views on the vineyard) named "Stanza del Pozzo dei Desideri" (Room of the Wishing Well" and you will find why as you enter the room. There is also a spacious living room as you enter on the first floor which is very bright and sunny in the morning and it was very peaceful to have breakfast out in the garden. The restaurant has a very romantic setting. A geat place to explore the Casentino National Park and the nearby towns.
Cons: Staying there only one night
Pros: This resort is surrounded by nice garden with place where you can just chill and enjoy nature and vineyards which are around. The staff were really nice. Breakfast was also really good with amazing coffee. Room was clean and looked really romantic and elegant. We enjoyed our stay very much and we will come here again.
Pros: It was in a beautiful location and close to Brisighella, a stunning little medieval town
Pros: Vincenzo was cool and the agriturismo lovely. Everything very clean and the position perfect. We especially loved the peace of the pool and the cornetti, melone at breakfast.
Pros: Great breakfast
Pros: The views were amazing
Cons: We arrived and no one was there to let us in, we had to wait 30mins for someone to give us the keys. We waited outside where we have been bitten alive by mosquitoes. The room is very basic. The AC was not working so we were unable to sleep because of the heat. We finally decided to open the windows but then we had even more mosquitoes! The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. We were not really able to sleep so thankfully we only had to stay one night. The whole stay was very impersonal and not worth the cost!
Pros: Beautiful place and landscape, very helpful and kind staff.
Pros: Peace and quiet, views, room, friendly and helpful service within the limitations of mutual linguistic skills. Brisighella was a delight as was Faenza - both nearby.
Cons: Owner was charming and helpful, but in his business today, he would help himself by learning better English if he wants English speakers.
Located just 5 minutes' walk from the mediaeval centre of Brisighella, Bed&Wine offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi. Brisighella Train Station is 800 metres away. Rooms at the Bed&Wine all come with a flat-screen TV, tiled floors and private bathroom with a hairdryer. Guests receive a voucher to enjoy an Italian-style breakfast at a café 250 metres away. The property is located 30 km from Forli, while Bologna is a 1-hour drive away.
Pros: We walked up the road to the local bakery for breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and offered great suggestions for dinner and exploring the village.
Cons: No complaints
Pros: We had a fabulous time - warm welcome and the owners were so helpful with advice on the best places to go and also places to eat. Brisighella is a lovely place and this B&B was perfectly located to see the best of it. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Pros: Very nice knowledgable, hospitable host, let me taste some great wines.
Cons: Small room, no place to sit outside (to enjoy the sun)
Pros: gorgeous hosts, fab location in a beautiful town
Pros: The place was very clean and the host have us some great recommendations for restaurants.
Cons: I did not see the "Wine" part of the B&B's name.
Pros: Both hosts are very nice and helpful. They provided many tips on restarants and sights around. Breakfast is provided in a café in the centre of Brisighella. What a genuine local experience. This was true Italy.
Cons: There are only standard Italian electric sockets in the room (no extension for other plugs as I have seen elsewhere). I struggled to charge my laptop. Ended up charging it in the hall where I found European socket. Take adapter or ask the host.
Pros: Very nice host! Beautiful village! I would recommend the B&B to eyerone :) the breakfast was outdoor in a small bar 4min by feet away.
Pros: Beautiful rooms, very short walk to the gorgeous town center of Brisighella and a very nice host who had great recommendations for restaurants. What more could you ask for? A steal for the price.
Cons: There's nothing not to like. Even the breakfast that is served at a nearby bar was good. Normally, I'm not a big fan of Italian style breakfast ;-)
When you stay at Corte dei Mori in Brisighella, you'll be 10 minutes by car from Donkeys Alley. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The property was in a beautiful location, with lovely views. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again.
Pros: The swimming pool area was absolutely stunning with incredible views of the mountains. The host was so friendly and helpful without being too invasive.
Pros: Loris is a wonderful host: no question or request is too difficult or too much for him. He'd book our train tickets, tell us where to have dinner*, and even where (not) to park the car when visiting various cities. Also, the location certainly helps: everything's under 2 hours away, which is a great plus - "our" village where we'd have dinner was a merely 15 minute drive, for example. And, to top it all of you get a wonderful view on top of the hill - not to mention all of the peace and quiet... Last but not least, the homemade breakfast and prosciutto must be one of the top rated features of this place. (* the restaurant is only open from Friday to Sunday)
Cons: Just a few minor details: * the "main road" can get really narrow at times... something to think about when figuring out what kind of rental car to get. Admittedly, this has more to do with infrastructure than with the excellent service you can expect when staying here. * we're short. So jumping into this high bed was fairly new to us. * since this is basically a farm, you might find some dust webs here and there if you're really looking.

With a stay at La Rocca in Brisighella, just steps from Donkeys Alley and Vena del Gesso Romagnola Regional Park. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: beautiful modern hotel in the center of a beautiful little town. Small rooms but nice views. Air conditioning was locked at 22 or higher which was a little warm for my comfort in late June. The staff were very kindly accommodating to us though we know almost no Italian
Pros: Really lovely staff!
Cons: Restaurant go use some help with the lighting , too bright
Pros: Oh, what a wonderful little town! We got here during early spring, and the surroundings are lovely to hike. Definitely better than a city stay, if you have a car. The hotel is right in the town center, with easy access everywhere.
Cons: Parking is public, so it's up to Lady Luck if you find a spot or not. Rooms can be cold, but that's not a problem if you come in summer.
Pros: La Rocca is a small hotel in the beautiful village of Brisighella . The views were spectacular. The village was clean and historically very interesting . We had a lovely evening meal on the terrace overlooking the hills and with views of the castle, church and tower on the 3 hills behind.
Pros: From the welcome at check in to the Arrivederci at checkout we couldn’t fault anything. The hotel and rooms were stylish, clean and very comfortable and the food was was great too. We would definitely stay here again in a heart beat.
Cons: Nothing. It was fantastic.
Pros: Great locaton, great breakfast, very clean and spacious rooms with nice balcony.
Pros: We had an amazing view of the town that is small but so cosy. The bathroom was simply great (big, comfortable and with toiletries). The host sent a friend to give us a lift from the station, which was invaluable, because it was very hot.
Cons: All was perfect.
Pros: The breakfast was fresh and the ingredients were good. A typical continental breakfast but the quality was excellent. Good fruit juices and hot refreshments provided by the bar. Good selection of breakfast cereals, fruit, pastries, youghurts, meats and cheeses.
Cons: Nothing to complain about.
Pros: Great location in the charming village of Brisighella. Decent breakfast and a good restaurant. Slight issue on checkout where I paid for stuff that had already been paid through booking.com, but the staff went to great efforts to ensure it was sorted out ok.
Cons: Parking could be tricky near the hotel, but there is more parking in the village near the train station a 5 to 10 minute walk away.
Pros: We loved the terrace and the modern style room. It was a shame the spa was closed.
Cons: We liked everything it was a shame the Spa was closed

Pros: Andre was a great host and very helpful. Well worth the long drive up the valley.
Pros: Nice place to relax in the middle nature, good breakfast with a selection of cakes and central pool available without any additional charges.
Cons: Overall description is misleading and makes one assume that pools and saunas are available as part of the stay. This is only the case for the biggest (and most expensive) room and otherwise access comes with high additional charges. To be fair , it is stated if you read very carefully but was a disappointment for us. In the end, it was a nice stay but considerably overpriced for what you get. In its current arrangement, would not recommend.
Pros: Súper beautiful location in the midst of nature. One of the most calm and relaxing places ever.
Pros: The place is situated in a very nice surrounding, with an amazing nature. The owner is nice and has a very good knowledge about the region and can provide valuable information and tips about where to eat and what to visit.
Cons: However, the overall presentation is misleading with several descriptions that are not correct: 1. First of all; this is a B&B and nothing else. The signs at the highway also says it’s a B&B, this is not mentioned in the webpage neither on booking.com. 2. There is not a restaurant, the only staff is Andrea, the owner, that when booking with anticipation can offer a cold selection of jam & cheese and simple pasta dishes. This is really a limitation because the place is almost 8 km from Brisighella (not 5 km as stated on the description). 3. Is not a SPA wellness, is a simple B&B that have ONE very expensive suite with a small sauna, a steam room and outdoor heated Jacuzzi viable for the rest of the property. When the room is not booked, other guests can book these facilities during two hours . As being high season, the room was booked and the only availability that could be offered during our 5-night stay was on the last day at 3 pm. 4. The activities and descriptions from the website are just another misleading information. They can’t be offer, there are no treatments and the massage could “not be possible”. The visit to a winery was also not possible but after asking several times, a wine producer from the region came with two bottle of wine (one white and one red), both “vino da tavola”, served in the same glasses with no knowledge at all about what wine tasting is. This was anyhow a nice experience but not at all was is described and what we were expected to pay for. 5. Our room was described as “deluxe” and the description on the web is that there are “luxurious rooms” when in reality it was very simple with low standard, bad lighting and with mold in the bathroom. 6. There is no staff on-site,Andrea comes in the morning to serve breakfast and to receive the new guests and then he leaves. He returns late in the afternoon for a short while in case it was needed to serve the simple food that he can offer 7. Internet was very poor
Pros: Very good service from the owner. Perfect breakfast
Cons: Speed of Internet
Pros: What a find! This place is in a secluded location well off the beaten path. You are literally surrounded by nature, and it is almost magical how instantly relaxing it is to be there. Andrea is a great host, very friendly and full of interesting local knowledge, and provided possibly the best croissant I have ever had for breakfast the next morning (along with many other breakfast goodies). Along with looking at the blood moon above the forest covered hills, I spent the night debating whether I could stay forever. And my dog loved it too.
Pros: Hospitality of the owner, comfort of the bed, style of the house, modern equipments, pool, middle of nowhere perfect to escape from everyday routine
Cons: Every time almost the same breakfast, road is in bad condition do not wash your car before you go,

Pros: Great location away from everything. Was lovely to wake to the sounds of nothing. Maria provided us with a great recommendation of a local restaurant which was lovely.
Cons: Maybe some tea and coffee making facilities for guests to use at their leisure whilst at the B&B.
Pros: Lady was very nice, bed and pillows were the most comfortable that in any 5 star hotel and such soft towels. Delicious breakfast. Love the vintage style and decoration.

Pros: Nice nature around hotel
Cons: Very cold room, very cold breakfast restaurant
Pros: The staff was very kind. The restaurant made lovely vegan meals. After check out, they gave us a ride to the station.
Cons: Since we were on foot, the hotel was a little far from both the station and the village, but in a lovely setting.
Pros: Super friendly staff / owners. Also, old school interior. Retro before retro was a thing.
Pros: Good location near the nice town of Brisighella, easy to walk into the old town. Very friendly reception!
Cons: Rooms require some renovation, especially the bath rooms. WLAN did not work at all
Pros: Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lunch was excellent. Public spaces were light and airy, looking onto a pleasant garden. Air-con and wi-fi worked well. Easy access to Brisighella.
Cons: Couldn't fault it.

Pros: Wi-fi worked ok. Could park car off highway.
Cons: The attic bedroom had no air conditioning or fan. It was impossible to sleep because of the heatwave. Property was literally on a busy and noisy highway. The tiny bathroom was part of the bedroom and had a bad smell. Property was very hard to find and looked shabby. Property photos were completely misleading. Contrary to the advertizing, hostess spoke no English. Worst B&B in 50 years of travelling.
Pros: Clean And spacious rooms ! Even found parking nearby
Cons: Ongoing rennovation works made it a bit messy around
