The Columbus is more than a hotel, it provides a subtly Chic and cool lifestyle in the dynamic Fontvieille area, at the foot of the cliff by the Mediterranean.
The hotel was very nice and in a great location. The staff were very helpful and all in all I enjoyed my day in Monaco.
The carpets should probably be changed, they make the place seem more run down than it is.
Close to marina, supermarket not far, free shuttle bus can get you to centre or train station. Nice pool with shallow part for small children.
RUDE STAFF AT FRONT DESK! CHECK IN ALLMOST AT 4PM, ONE FRONT DESK ATTENDANT SENT ME TO THE POOL WHICH WAS CLOSED, I TRIED TO OPEN IT AND SOMEONE FROM MAINTENANCE OF COLUMBUS ALMOST BEAT ME, THEN I ASKED FOR A ENERGY CONVERTOR FOR MY CELL PHONE AND THEY WANTED TO SELL IT TO ME FOR 25 DOLLARS. THE FRONT DESK TOLD ME DO NOT COME AGAIN TO CHARGE YOUR PHONE, SOMEONE KNOCKED THE DOOR AT 7:20! INSECURE PLACE! DRUNK PEOPLE AROUND! NO SERVICE OR RESPONSE TO CLAIMS
-Staff was great, very friendly and accommodating -The breakfast buffet was amazing and had a lot of different selection -Room was a large size
-WiFi was slow at times but can't complain to much because it was free
Parking spaces are really tight espessialy if you have a big car
The Staff were very helpful.
The continental breakfast was poor value and the bread was stale.
the duvet and pillows are polyester
All the staff was very kind. They could talk a lot of languages.
They could improve the bath´ staff that they provide, like: teeth brush, hair brush, tissues, coture set. There was only a water cap and two glasses.
Rude staff, bad food and way over-priced. Many couples we traveled with said the same.
near to the sea
It was so relaxing and the atmosphere was amazing!
