This flight to Geneva (change of airports) was late and the flight to Vienna took off with no passengers from our flight, after we were told it would wait. ' I paid for premium seats and did not get rebooked for the same. I am sitting in the Geneva airport for 7 and 1/2 hours, losing my meetings in Vienna. I never expected such poor service from Swissair."

Cons: "Legroom is non-existent. This was by far the most uncomfortable aircraft I have ever flown on, with the possible exception of an Ilyushin 62 operated by Tarom in 1983. I felt bad for the man in front of me, with my knees in his back. That is, until he reclined his seat and put my video screen in my face. Not much to watch anyway, but it was impossible to lean forward at all. Boarding at JFK was rather chaotic."

Cons: "While I was on line to board, a flight assistant came to me and asked me if I was flying by myself. When I said yes. they upgraded me to business class. I boarded the plane and took my seat. Shortly before taking off, another flight attendant came to me, told me they made a mistake, and sent me back to my original economy seat (while I was holding my new business boarding pass that they gave me). When I told them they should remedy somehow their mistake, they said they did not have any other extra seat in business and that there was nothing they could do. They did not apologize. They were quite unprofessional and rude. I fly often and I have never experienced something so unprofessional and rude. Alitalia is far better than Swissair in terms of professionalism and of politeness. I will always discourage anyone from flying Swissair. Worst company ever."

Cons: "When we checked in at Newark airport, the check-in counter informed us that we were not seated together! We booked this flight over six months ago and were returning from our honeymoon to start our new life together. You can imagine how irritated we were that we would be on an 8 hour flight seated in different parts of the plane. The woman working at the check-in counter at Newark was unsympathetic, she said that it was a full flight and there was nothing she could do. However, she said she could upgrade us for 300 USD each... ha! So it costs $600 to sit next to each other?? Her reply "That's our policy." No apology, no understanding, just a robot blaming the company policy. We both fly a lot and we have never heard of such a "policy"."

I can see doing that on Ryan air, but that is pretty low for a Scandinavian airline. Scandinavians have a very strong sense of family."

So on the flight I was given two options of fish or mexican beef. Mexican beef meant slow cooked beef in a salty brown sauce with 2 kidney beans. Yes 2 kidney beans. With potatoes carrots and broccoli. Entertainment was pretty lacking. Not a lot of options. Also it was freezing the entire flight."

I was waiting for the flight at the OSLO airport waiting for the flight to LONDON. I had ample time to work on my computer. In the big room by the gate there was only one spot where I found three electrical sockets hanging from a pillar or post. To my dismay none worked. My plug would fall off from each. To document, I took the pictures of the useless sockets... I complained to the lady at the boarding desk (she left before the SAS staff moved in), she did not even care... This experience frustrated me and turned an otherwise pleasant trip into a bitter one. Please install some working sockets in your waiting room! But initial flight was booked under alaska--but boarding pass unable to be printed from any of the kiosks and we were told to talk to American. American didn't know anything about it. THen stood in Assistance line for 45 minutes to be told that we needed to talk to VIrgin American. They rebooked us on to American, which then promptly was also delayed for several hours, and we thereby missed our connection. Throughout the process there were no customer service representatives either in person or on the phone who were remotely helpful. Overall, worst travel experience of my life."

We arrived on-time, went through the line and were then placed in a standing room only area to stand and wait for another 45 minutes before boarding. We were placed near the entrance (I thought to board early as a family) but were later told to join another line when we asked why we sere just standing and waiting while other passengers were walking past us. The communication between staff and between your staff and passengers was poor."

Cons: "I am used to traveling continents with other companies. There has always been 2 check in bags allowed with no extra charge as long as you are under 23kg on each. I get to the airport with my 2 bags ready, TAP tells me on large holidays, they only allow 1 bag to be checked to my specific African destination until January 11. And that one bag will cost me $120. They will not let me have the second one. Who does that? How much sense is this supposed to have. I checked with others and they do not do that. That rule rule is unfair and racist. Now that I am back, I have a bag missing. Wow!"

I was delayed 3 hours first flight, 1.5 hours second flight after watching two flights that I “wasn’t allowed” to be on depart right in front of me at 9 and 10 instead of the 11 that they rebooked me on. Once I landed in Lisbon after the second flight that o wasn’t supposed to take. We missed the connection by 5 minutes and there were many people flying to my same destination. I had to wait 5 hours in Lisbon when I shouldn’t have ever went to Lisbon. I bought a ticket from Newark to Zürich through Porto 10 hours in total. I think TAP overbooked everyone and seated us on purpose. The secondflight was delayed due to “bad weather” and it was perfectly nice outside. Shame on TAP. I’m sure other people are complaining."

A frustrating experience hat could have been made better with just some communication about what was going on."

Cons: "Inbound flight - flight got canceled from Budapest - after calling the airline and waiting in the line the 2 first lady I was talking to put me on hold and never got back to me, the 3rd lady had no idea why the flight got canceled except it was for emergency. She said next flight would be 2 days later - after calling the insurance I booked for the flight, they didn't want to reimburse for the interruption because the airline could not explain why it got canceled and i should prove that the flight was canceled - after being 6h on the phone with airline and insurance and waiting line had to hang of without solution. I had to purchase a new ticket from another airline to be able to fly on the same day back to Miami. - after arriving at the airport next morning for the other flight it turns out that Tap Portugal booked me to British Airways but they have not send me a notification email about it, so if I do not ask at the counter for Tap Portugal for the paperwork for the insurance I would never find out that i got a new flight and i would have miss it and the insurance would have never pay for it. With the new ticket i had to purchase, my travel with Tap Portugal cost me on the end around $3000, and I do not have that much money for a ticket at all, now I have a financial trouble. Thanks, never again."

I was flying business class on flight TP059 on March 4 2018 and have Gold status on Star Alliance. Many passengers had declined dessert and I felt extremely embarrassed by having been denied food on a plane for the first time in my life. The attitude and lack of tact of Comissario Bruno on TP059 spoiled the whole flight experience for me."

Pros: "Entertainment! Loved having such a wide selection of things to watch on the screen at my seat. Such a nice luxury to be able to watch a movie, a show, check the status of the flight/plane/distance/time/map, and more."
Cons: "The food wasn't that appetizing. It actually gave me upset stomach for the rest of the flight. I was in the bathroom 3x during the flight and I usually don't use the restroom more than once during any given flight. I didn't like that when asking for a drink of water, they only give a half full cup of room-temperature water. On an 8 hour flight, I get dehydrated and could drink 2 water bottles alone. I don't like to be a nuisance to the attendants so I only asked for water twice. I just wish they would provide small personal bottles per customer. I also have never flown on TAP before so I wasn't aware of anything like how to call an attendant using the touch-screen or even that watching movies was free. It should be said over the intercom at the beginning of the flight."

Cons: "I would like to start out by saying that I have flown with this airline before but it was a few years ago and it was from one city in Spain into another. On this particular trip, I flew with a friend from Barcelona to Tel Aviv. Our flight was delayed because the pilot decided to change aircrafts at the last minute and about 25-30 ppl did not get seat assignments,including my friend. There were enough seats on the plane. It was disorganization plain and simple. They told these 30 passengers that they may not be able to fly and were about to separate family members, leaving some in Barcelona and flying some to Tel Aviv, causing unnecessary stress. When we arrived in Tel aviv, our luggage did not. Approximately 30 people had to file reports with lost and found. It took days to find the luggage which was flown out to Moscow and then to Tel Aviv. Some people still didn't receive theirs. The aircraft was old, all the food and beverages had to be purchased. The crew was all right. Overall, I will not fly with them again. I have spent hours and hours of my trip trying to locate my luggage. Hopefully it will arrive as I'm writing this review. I think Kayak should cease working with this airline and not list it on it's search engine."

I have received 4 emails which all said my flight had a 3 hour delay but did not notify me it will be on time until 20 minutes before departure from Barcelona. Of course, I Went to the information desk to see if they can still board me on the flight but they said no although it still didn't leave. They charged me 115 Euros a ticket but ONLY accepted cash. I was not flying alone and it didn't carry hundreds of euros with me. I had to wait hours just for the exchange to open. The crew at the information thought this was hilarious by the way, particularly the supervisor who had an extremely cheap red hair dye who refused to give me her name then put a scarf over her name tag to hide it. After I thanked the man who was helping me, she naturally yelled from across the information desk "HE SHOULDNT DO THIS!!!!" ... I said thank you? NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINES! I hope they get their act together before this airlines goes out of business!"

Note that this was not a misunderstanding or language difficulties. The English of the airline team and mine is excellent. This behavior is dismissive, irresponsible, and embarrassing"
