What are the pros of staying at Inn at I'On?
The staff is very helpful and considerate. The location was great. Comfortable, modern suite with kitchenette was just the right size to stretch out and relax. Room was very clean. Pub located conveniently across the street. The surrounding I'On neighborhood is walkable with very nice homes. Beautiful little property in great location with attentive staff. Having a designated parking space in front of the hotel was such a convenient touch! The option of having breakfast delivered to your door was a tremendous bonus! The food was absolutely delicious! Beautiful cozy room with a lovely rocking chair balcony in a lovely community. It’s the perfect place in the most picturesque town! Great location in a quiet neighborhood, balcony with rocking chairs overlooking the square, and use of the I’On Club pool.
What are the cons of staying at Inn at I'On?
The bed and the pillows were not good quality. Took a long time to get hot water at sink. Also the pool is a few blocks away at an associated facility. The air vent needed dusting. The shower was disappointing. Nice bathroom but shower head was old, limited spray and uncomfortable. There was no staff there overnight and balconies needed bugs swept out of window seals. The room was large but bathroom was small and room didn’t have the balcony. TVs and all the rooms are outdated. Lighting in room was harsh, furniture was a little large for the space which meant we ran into corners a lot. This our first time we were staying in the room on the third floor. Room was large but bathroom was small and room didn’t have the balcony. I wouldn’t stay in this room again. Sound proofing between rooms. We were booked into the wrong room type, but we were accommodated the second night. The only other issue was a strange smell in the first room. I can speculate to what it was, but I don’t know for sure, so I’ll just say it wasn’t a horrible smell but not an overly pleasant one. The beds needed updating. We felt as if our king was sloping, and the daybed where our son slept was very lumpy. The bathroom was cramped, we had two queen bed that were so high we needed a step stool to get in which was fun. There wasn't any hanger or door in the closet, two chairs were in it, it had a very slanted roof so I banged my head a few time. There wasn't a lot of light. Very thin walls. We could hear conversations in the room next door. There wasn't much hot water on our first night. Maybe it was just a matter of timing, and we happened to shower at the same time as other guests. I forgot to ask where the ice machine was. We booked a king suite with a balcony and there was no balcony. We had to do an after hours check in at 8:30 pm. We were given a discount and moved to a balcony suite the next day. We had no coffee cups in our room for morning coffee. The staff were loud upstairs. You couldn't relax during the day. I wish I would’ve known about the key code on the door to get in late at night. The TV was really messed up in my room it kept going up and down up and down in the water pressure in the shower was a little low it not really hot. Only negative is that if you get a room in the main building and it says kitchen… it is not a kitchen. just a microwave and large fridge.
