5.8 Okay
Pros: The location of hotel is nice. Its quite family hotel. The hotel would urgently need quite some modenization/renewal works to be done.
Cons: The Hotel keeps on losing electricity supply. When most of AC are on the hotel main electricity fuze turn off electricity to whole premise.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The lady that works there. She tried to help
Cons: The owner shouted at us when we called him at night because there was no hot water on both rooms. He was roud and blamed us for not knowing how to use a bath. All 4 of us had to take a cold shower .. I have never been treeted so badly in a hotel. It is also impossible to get the suitcase to the 2nd floor .don't go to that place!!!
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location to explore Moustiers (as long as you don't mind a steep uphill walk). Eccentric owner seemed to do everything himself, including making a really good breakfast. Not many people in so we were given a free choice of rooms. Nice garden and good views from the rooms. Unlike most places in Moustiers, it was easy to find and park.
Cons: Difficult check-in as the gate was locked, so we had to phone to be let in. Rooms are a little dated and we only found one with a shower that could be used without holding it up yourself. The safe wasn't big enough for tablet, laptop or camera. The lock on our door was temperamental. In need of a bit of a touch-up, we'd say.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very helpful, the room was very big and clean. The breakfast in the beautiful garden was great.
Cons: It’s quite a hard way by waking to the town.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very special setting - each room individualized. Very nice garden. Parking in front of hotel. In walking distance to village and restaurants. You get served the breakfast in the garden and you can choose extras which makes the rather high price of EUR 15.- ok.
Cons: Some amenities missing you would expect from *** , i.e. cleenex, curtain shower, waste basket in the room not just small one in the washroom
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful small hotel 5 minutes walking from the center of the village. Very friendly and welcoming stuff. Very spacey room. Beautiful garden for breakfast (though you need to beware of the bees in summer). Good, fully stoked mini-bar. A very nice touch with the rooms being named after planets rather than having numbers. Private parking just in front of the hotel.
Cons: The shower has no shower stand (i.e. you can't hold the shower head anywhere and have to do all the washing with 1 hand)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Moustiers was a dream holiday. This hotel was lovely. Great staff, very friendly and obliging. Beautiful outlook, comfortable, spacious rooms, generous, yummy breakfast (but we would have killed for a fried, poached or scrambled egg - if I had another boiled egg I was going to be sick!!). Drive to and parking at the village was easy in Sep. I think we picked the perfect season to visit Moustiers. Weather was a balmy and warm 23-28 Deg, swam everyday, virtually no other tourists. An absolute highlight of our first trip to Provence.
Cons: Not enough towels provided. Bath towels were used for the pool and Jacuzzi and no heated towel rails so we had to use the large hand towels to dry ourselves after a shower each day. Pool towels should have been allocated to the room. We were forever hanging the towels on the outdoor chairs to try to get them dry. A daily hassle. No laundry facilities. A big inconvenience. Closest laundrette was in Riez. This meant handwashing in the bathroom then hanging clothes out on our terrace to get dry. A clothes airer for this and the towels would have been ideal. These issues were valid as we had a 4 day stay with a further 8 days of travel ahead of us. Also, a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities would have been wonderful instead ordering room service. After 8pm room service was not available - just when we love to have a cuppa in the evening before bedtime. Walk to Moustiers is too far and steep unless you're very fit/keen. Parking in the Village in Summer would be near impossible but easy for us in Sep.
7.7 Good
Pros: The staff. The breakfast. The terrace.
Cons: Small rooms. Small bathrooms. Uncomfortable patio furniture
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was pretty small for 96€ (off season time and without breakfast).. We added 12€ for a breakfast for each. It was good and tasty. The hotel is a small and nice hotel. Thay even have jacuzzi, but we didn't use it. It's about 10-15 minutes walking to the village. We enjoyed this walking. The crew are very nice.
Cons: The size of the room.. Too small

8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful place nestled in its own grounds 1 Km from the centre of Moustiers-Ste-Marie with gated secure parking. The gardens are wonderful. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely with a good range of options and waiter-service. This was enjoyed although I did not get the boiled eggs as ordered on the second morning and was unable to attract the attention of the waiter to remind him. The food at dinner was very good but the portions were too large for me to manage which is not something I have come across before in a Michelin starred restaurant. My room in a small bungalow in the grounds was beautifully appointed and had a lovely terrace. It was located, however, next to kitchen buildings and so there was some noise late at night.
Cons: I felt uncomfortable here as a solo traveler. It was difficult for me to attract the attention of the waiters and sommelier. On arrival I was asked to be on the terrace for a certain time for canapes and waited patiently on a terrace for almost half an hour before anyone came to ask if I needed anything. It then became apparent that I was in the wrong place although drinks were being served on that terrace on request. The table lights on the terrace were not very effective and once it went dark it became impossible to see what was on the plate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a hotel in a fairy tale. Our room was lovely and very clean, and when we open the balcony door there were peaceful and beautiful field of french countryside just like we’ve seen in movies and pictures. The food was more than fantastic and even the tableware were gorgeous so we bought some of them when we check out.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Plenty of parking on site. Room was very basic. Literally a bed, one table and a mini fridge. Ok for one night stay. Not in the center of the town so you’d have to walk or drive to get to the restaurants. They only serve breakfast but not any other food. Short drive to St Croix Lake to kayak through the Verdon Gorge. Nice staff who spoke English. Room had enough space for our luggage so was late by European standards.
Cons: No electric plug in the bathroom so cannot use any appliances.

Pros: Beautiful location, great views on all sides, right in the center of the village. Rooms are well equipped with renovated bathrooms. There's even an elevator, which is rare for such an old village and building.
Cons: Parking is lacking, hotel staff elaborately explained where parking is available. Only there was only one guy that spoke English, so when he wasn't around communication was a bit hard.

The view from the room is wonderful too, looking towards a mountain ridge. Lots of stars at night. In the morning, the kitchen adjacent to the breakfast room had an open fire going on, so cosy! The breakfast room very wel appointed and homy. The breakfast was delicious: fresh coffee, fresh OJ, fresh mini pastries and delicious spreads. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Pros: There was enough space in the apartment, comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and duvets. WiFi worked well.
Cons: - No AC which made us leave the windows open which meant to hear all the people in the first floor outdoor table talking until late at night, and then be waken up by the trash truck at early morning. - No parking. And parking in town is VERY difficult. - no ironing machine - no front desk - service was soso. The lady at the hotel made us move the car and couldn’t wait the ten minutes allowed while we pack the bags. - hotel door was open all day and night so anyone could coming to your room door.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A great little balcony. Views off the other side of the apartment. Right in town near restaurants and bars.
Cons: The roof leaked during a fairly heavy rain.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location Stunning views
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: The kitchen was not clean, the shower didn't work , the fan in the double bedroom was broken, the stairs to the second bedroom were very dangerous. We arrived back from an evening out at 5 past 10 and were refused a drink as they said the bar closed at 10 but still lots of people about.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and ambience. Spacious apartment with good amenities and great views. Very friendly staff. Lovely restaurant with terrace downstairs. We didn't want to leave!
Cons: It was a struggle to park near to the hotel, as most spots in the village are timed and it is a busy tourist town. There is a short term parking spot outside that can be used to drop off/pick up luggage.

5.8 Okay
Pros: We felt the price was high compared to the other 7 places we stayed in Provence. The owner/ host was not welcoming to us or her other guests and we did not feel welcome in the reception/ sitting area. The rooms were comfortable and clean and location good. Breakfast was not included in our price so we paid extra but many items ran our and any requests for refills seemed to be a nuisance to our host and filled slowly and reluctantly.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful location, very comfortable, good breakfast, all happy
Cons: Maybe somewhere to sit in the evening, but we found it very good. Very friendly and helpful. Great location just a 10 minute drive from village. Could it really fault it.
7.9 Good
Pros: Beautiful place. Heavenly location.Quiet and peaceful. Good dinner as an extra when we arrived.
Cons: When is a bed and breakfast not a bed and breakfast? Answer: when they charge you extra for the breakfast! Free bikes weren't available.
5.8 Okay
Cons: While Sylvie, the host, was very welcoming and helpful in finding great restaurants and things to do around the property, we were badly surprised by her behaviour the day of our check out. My wife and I had already paid for our stay and had just to pay breakfast expenses at the time of checkout. The day of our departure we had to leave to catch a plane before Sylvie was awake, and instead of sending an electronic bill for our minor expenses, Sylvie sent us an accusatory message stating that we were trying to rip her off the few breakfast expenses. More, just few hours after our departure, she sent a negative message of us to booking.com and threatened us not to amend the message unless we pay the expenses. We read her messages as soon as we arrived home (24 hours after the checkout), and paid our expenses - not because of her threats but because that’s what we had planned to to as honest people travelling from another contient. My wife and I travelled in more than 25 countries over the last 5 years and never have we been targeted by such low, baseless, and likely ill-intended behaviour.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Other than that the location and lavenders in front of the hotel were just perfect and beautiful. The host is very kind and it would've been one of our best stays in two month trip if it were not for the weather.
Cons: Maybe we visited in the hottest day of the year. Room temperature stayed up to 28 degrees C. and couldn't open the windows due to the bugs. It was 41 degree C. during the day so most of the days wouldn't have such problem.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is located 10-15 mins drive from Moustiers-Saint-Marie village. There is a nice lavender field near the property. It is a nice farmhouse feeling. The breakfast was nice. The host is very nice and friendly and provided us with lot if valuable information about the whole Provence region. It was peaceful and quiet to sleep during the night and one could see the stars in the sky.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: View was beautiful. The room was very comfortable. Sylvia was very lovely. We enjoyed her and stay immensely.
Cons: It rained.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean room, easy to find on the main road. Martine was very obliging, storing our food in her fridge and providing us with ice blocks and cold water. A short drive to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, the lake and the gorge. We didn't have the breakfast, so can't comment on this.
Cons: There was only a fan and no air conditioning. As it was 45 degrees, it was an issue! It was inconvenient not having a fridge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This accommodation is in a perfect place for those who would like to discover the Provence culture and the nature too. The owners were very welcoming and kind.
Cons: There was nothing I could mention as not liked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to Moustiers town and an easy walk if the weather is fine. Basic rooms (No TV) however very quiet which meant a good night's sleep.
Cons: Very friendly host.
7.9 Good
Pros: Stylish, comfortable, quiet room with small terrace.
Cons: I thought for the price there should have been a fan or air con as the room was hot. (No one around to ask for fan.) A hair dryer and also drink facilities (tea, coffee, bottle of water) would have been welcome on arrival as no cafes nearby.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly host - Mme Michaud who recommended somewhere to eat on our first night (booking is recommended as the restaurants get very busy). Comfortable bed and a fan provided. Good breakfasts with croissants and fruit (extra cost and not included in booking.com’s price) but only €6. Good value room rate.
Cons: Very compact bathroom. Need to drive into town as although it is close you would walk along a busy road and back (possibly in the dark)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The BF was simple, French version but very good. The bed was good, and a terrasse/garden to sit outside in front of the room is definitively a plus. The surroundings are green and quiet. All was very relaxed and uncomlicated. With a car, there's nice restos and lovely Moustiers just a stone's trow away.
Cons: The somewhat small room could do with a closet or any other bit for clothes, the bathroom is also a bit narrow, and a way to get fresh air without mosquitoes into the room during night would also be nice.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: French Breakfast
Cons: no TV
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean and cozy. The owner kind and open to give suggestions.

Pros: Great hotel. Well situated in with great staff! Next time around will go there again!
7.5 Good
Pros: Plenty of parking on site.

Cons: All seemed pretty good to me.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, great views on all sides, right in the center of the village. Rooms are well equipped with renovated bathrooms. There's even an elevator, which is rare for such an old village and building.
Cons: Parking is lacking, hotel staff elaborately explained where parking is available. Only there was only one guy that spoke English, so when he wasn't around communication was a bit hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located in the centre next to the waterfall. We can see the stunning view of the waterfall and valley from the room. The room is spacious and very nice decoration. The owner and staffs are very kind and helpful.

Too small

I had an issue with my French telecom SIM card provider & the host was exceptionally helpful in helping me sort it out by calling the French only service line and translating for me.
