7.1 Good
Pros: The location is great for outdoors enthusiasts, but is not the best for long trip travelers.
Cons: Internet was very week, as this was crucial since there is no cell signal.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Scenic location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I’ve stayed there several times passing through. I wouldn’t want to miss it & I’d like to go back for several days.
Cons: My only complaint was not having coffee available before 7am in the lodge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So comfortable, loved our balcony, excellent restaurant
Cons: Not a thing.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great area for hiking
Cons: The rooms in the old motel were we were sleepingl needs a update, the rooms are old, rustic to expensive for what you get when you compare to other accommodations in the area who are also of the grid. We don't need a TV in our room but when you find in 2019 a old big tv instead of a flatscreen than you know this room is out of date.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Especially liked the breakfast. The location is lovely.
Cons: Dinner is served until late which is a plus but then I believe the food quality suffers because I believe it has to be prepared.
7.5 Good
Pros: I loved the location halfway between Watson Lake and Fort Nelson. A good location for a weary traveler. The restaurant was attractive and offered a very good if limited menu. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly and polite. The room was a good size and the log walls were fun.
Cons: Odd little things bothered me. No decaf coffee. No OJ at breakfast. No thermostat in the room that had a very small and poorly hung vanity mirror above a very small vanity. There was plenty of room for both a bigger mirror and a bigger vanity. It seemed an odd choice. The TV had a limited selection of programs and the internet was slow. The dining place mat had facts about the hotel, some seemed inappropriate. They included comments about their remoteness and high costs, and a complaint about BC carbon taxes. My favorite was the remark that they got their food from Edmonton. I wondered why, after all there is a perfectly good Costco in Grande Prairie 450 kilometers closer, a Safeway at Fort St. John and a perfectly good IGA 3 hours away. It whole woe is me bit came off a bit whiny.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room with balcony, fantastic view. Wonderful breakfast. Very good staff.
Cons: Bathroom was a bit small.
