All rooms can be reached by elevator. The guest rooms are equipped with soundproofed, openable windows and doors. The at high standard renovates private bathrooms also come with a hairdryer. In spring 2016, the whole lobby was renovated, a new lift was built, and the breakfast room was newly designed. Guests begin the day in Antares’ modern breakfast room with a great variety of food. Hotel Antares München is a 1-minute walk from the Amalienstraße bus stop, which is on the Museum bus line. Odeonsplatz Underground Station is a 6-minute walk away, and is just 1 stop from Marienplatz Square. A small underground car park with a duplex parking system and a car lift is available at the Antares for a fee. Reservation is not possible; the lower the car is the better.

Pros (+) Hotel Antares provided an affordable alternative to the other Oktoberfest price-gauged hotels. The free breakfast was great, and I was pleasantly surprised by the large and modern bathroom. The hotel is located in a really cute neighborhood, just a 10 minute walk to Old Town, 5 minutes to Odeonsplatz, and a 30 minute walk to the main train station.
Cons (-) The rooms here are really tiny, even for European standards. We stayed on an unseasonably warm fall night, so we had to sleep with the windows open for some fresh air. This meant that all the noises of the city on a Friday night carried up into our room. I don't blame the hotel, but with only 7 stories, it's hard to find a room away from the noise.
