Pros: This lovely hotel is perfect for an outdoor adventure! The beautiful scenery and lovely grounds are so calm. The view of the mountains is one great way to start your day. Our very large double room met all of our needs. The beds were comfortable and it was so nice having a separate sitting and dining area. Our view from the balcony was amazing! We arrived at night, so the morning presented a wonderful surprise. The breakfast is excellent! The owner, Monica, is so accommodating and a pleasure to visit with. We wanted to stay longer and would definitely return! Thank you for the excellent stay!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice family hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast included choice of scrambled eggs or omelet.
7.0 Good
Pros: Quiet and peaceful
Cons: Needs a much larger hot water tank. Out of 5 days, the shower water was only hot long enough for me to rinse off and I take quick showers. We reserved the regular and the comfort room (family of 4), the comfort being 60€ a day more. It stated that it was a larger room but the only thing that mad it larger was the unused space where a clothes washer is supposed to be installed. It was no more comfortable than the smaller room.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Shower could be hotter.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleansing, location and hospitality were great ! Was very good experience staying here , thanks
Cons: Nothing to mention

Pros: Location
Cons: Small bathroom and shower
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Pefect location for an over night stay. The single room was spacious for solo traveler. Charming deco inside a historic building. Breakfast was lovely.
Cons: Nothing in particular.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is right in the centre of the pedestrian mall, surrounded by shops and restaurants yet the room was very quiet and comfortable. Car parking was provided and the included breakfast was exceptional. The shower was wonderfully large compared to other European hotel rooms.
Cons: GPS couldn't locate the hotel and was trying to lead me astray. The room had a bit of a plumbing odour when I returned each day after it had been closed up. Room would have benefitted from a small fridge and kettle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every things staff, services and location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every single thing made it very enjoyable stay. The owners and staff assist you in every way possible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, great breakfast (included), very friendly staff, great location (culture and nature)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was located in the centre of the pedestrian mall, surrounded by shops and restaurants but the room was very quiet with windows shut. Parking on site was appreciated and the included breakfasts were exceptional.
Cons: I don't think there was air conditioning. The room would have benefitted from a small fridge and a kettle. The room had a slight plumbing odour when I returned to it each evening after it had ben closed up. Wifi was very temperamental in our room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good location, clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The breakfast room is very nice and cosily furnished with antiques. they make you an egg if you wish. the breakfast ladies are very friendly. a lady at reception who was there on the evening I arrived was extremely helpful with all I needed to know re excursions around Murnau. The hotel is cosily furnished in English country style but rooms to the back are very dark, depressing and have no nice view. I would recommend to ask for a room overlooking the beautiful highstreet (pedestrianised, so it is quiet). These rooms are much brighter. Do not take a room at the back if you want the real Murnau experience. Hotel is very centrally located and there is good public transport to many locations in the Murnau area. As long as you take a room at the front it is well worth visiting this hotel.
Cons: My room was very dark and overlooked a backyard. with the neighbouring building only 3 metres opposite. One has to arrive before 9pm or alternatively there will be a key in a locker for you. For the price I paid i would expect a 24/7 reception service. Breakfast is only available from 7.30am. Rolls for breakfast were not good quality, just warmed up, not fresh from the bakery and the bakery is just next door. There is a tax of euro 1.50 per night for the town. It is not clear why the town charge this since there is no extra attractions or activities for this money. Just greed factor, but unfortunately some towns in Germany charge this tax these days. it is a total nuisance and makes no sense. There is other towns who do not do it. The hotel has no influence on this.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A really great place to stay. Traditional hotel very tastefully decorated. The staff were very professional, helpful and pleasant. The location couldn’t be better -right in the pedestrian zone with lots of places to eat, and within walking distance of the lake which is great for having a swim and cooling off in the summer heat. The breakfast buffet was very good. Parking is available on request

Ohlstadt is a small village far away from the mass tourism and the perfect starting point for your excursions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a very quiet village in Southern Bavaria. It's a moderate walk from the station, but perfectly fine if you are mobile and the trains North and South run roughly every hour through the day. Bayern tickets are good value. The views of the mountains are lovely, the food is excellent and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
Cons: There wasn't much to dislike. It's a bit monastic, but that's what people go there for.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: No AC & Fridge
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is away from the main road and looks out over green fields. It is close to several pleasant strolls, while the shops and Kloster are between 1 and 2 km away. Breakfast was quite good - nice fresh fruit, and the soft-boiled eggs really were soft. Everything was clean and worked well. There is an excellent play area outside for children, and our experience is that children are welcome.
Cons: We arrived after 18:00, and our room key was in an envelope taped to the front door. For such a nice hotel I might expect someone to be at the reception till later. To be fair though we did book at short notice and arrived later than expected. Not a criticism, but I did wonder about security.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: location
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The cleanliness, the friendly staff, the wonderful food.
Cons: The fact that we had to pay to use the sauna
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and clean hotel in the countryside. Rich breakfast buffet. Very comforting staff. Stayed at the hotel one night and went for a hike to Benediktenwand next day. Many hiking options nearby.
Cons: Not as quiet as I was hoping because of wedding party that day. It was officially ending at midnight and music stopped then which was good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff made my friend and I very comfortable.Lovely location, warm, welcoming and modern hotel. Having excellent wi-fi access and a good sized desk in the bedroom was a real plus. Hope to go back again some day and spend longer.
Cons: A more modern t.v. in the room would really set this hotel apart! Maybe a slightly larger single bed as I kept hitting my head on the wooden wall panel during the night.
6.0 Good
Pros: The location is a bit far from Munich center but an hour by train. It is between little mountains, quite and very green area. Wonderful for families and relaxing. Nice breakfast with full range of foods. All traditional.
Cons: But make sure that your rooms are really booked for you and tell them how many rooms you are booked. Booking.com can surprise you in a bad manner.
7.3 Good
Pros: Very nice single room, very nice breakfast buffet, very friendly staff, excellent quality/price ratio.
Cons: Only negative point: Unreachable without a car, quite isolated.
6.4 Good
Pros: friendly staff
6.4 Good
Pros: Nice location. Great staff who are all friendly and helpful. They made us feel at home and very welcome.
Cons: The heater and towel warmer seemed to be on a timer as they didn't work early in the morning. It would be great if they had one computer for guest usage as casual travelers don't tend to bring laptops. I find late night at the hotel is a great time to check on bills and email.
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff is lovely and very helpful and accomodating. The food was great.
Cons: Our room overlooked the back gravel parking lot, garage and roof of the addition. It really took away from the beautiful sceney. Obviously you have to have a garage and parking lot and roof top, but these areas could be made to look a little nicer. The dining room looks a bit dated.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location - very reasonably priced
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The beautiful scenery, the friendly staff, and the reasonable prices.
Cons:
7.6 Good
Pros: the location is wonderful

5.0 Okay
Pros: We liked the Peruvian cook/cleaning woman.
Cons: A double room with a Mountain View, with extra large bed was advertised, one with 28m2, and same title used for a very small single size room of only 18m2. I have no problem paying 200 euro for a double room with a extra large bed, except when it is put into a 18m2 room. The bathroom being next to the reception out a door (not " across the hall" as advertised). The shower had a leak that flooded the bathroom floor each shower and when we told Gina, she said that she knew and it needed to be fixed, but did not fix it. All it would take was 5 minutes with a silicon sealant gun (10euro). Advertised as a Hotel, but run as a cosy bed and breakfast wher the owners lived in the same house and sat at breakfast with the guests whose body language was clearly not interested in them being there talking to them instead of letting the couples enjoy their vacation. Did not like being told three days that the we had the smallest room, that no one likes, because we selected it for being the lowest price and that the owner had no control over what Booking.com put into the online description. I make more in one day of consulting to take their most expensive suite for the entire 5 days I booked. We left and did not use the last two nights because the energy in the converted clinic to bed and breakfast was not worth the 250euro to stay there another night.
6.8 Good
Pros: The garden and location of the hotel is very tranquile and relaxing. The dining room is nice and quite artsy and the bed were comfortable. Also the breakfast was good and the kitchen staff was very friendly. Coffee was delicious.
Cons: The value of a stay is not good. We had a private bathroom but you still have to cross back and forth through the reception. A curtain separating the reception and entrance for all other guests and the room / bathroom corridor would be much better. The room is nice but small for the money and the sink within the room needs some maintenance (damaged seals). The hosts were ok but too nosy (others would maybe see that as charming) and were badmouthing the place we were going to for a wedding (in hindsights in my humble opinion without justification).

Pros: Location - the garden - outdoor pool - super breakfast - outside terrace
Cons: No AC in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing Staff, Amazing Food, Amazing Hotel. No need recommendation, You must stay there !
Cons: Hum... Nothing at all !
7.5 Good
Pros: + Good breakfast and food in the restaurant + Saunas (only dry) were perfect + very clean room and in the room you can have all hygienic items + bicycle rental + area around is perfect for hiking activities
Cons: - paid parking (really? in 5* hotel?) - loud room (above the restaurant) - steam sauna - not so steam and sometimes strange smell - not available massage during 4 days (just 1 time per person) - not much of a lunch choice (4-5 dishes I think) - waitresses did not look around restaurant and pool
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: The serviced received from hotel staff was extremely unprofessional . They completely lacked the basics of quality treatmemt towards customers. Expected conveniences were not met, concerning checking in and checking out. An unnecessary struggle was faced for simply asking for our owed change back! A horrible and frustrating experience overall!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We booked, for one nigth, two double rooms with connecting doors for us and our daughter. The rooms were as expected, large and comfortable. Bathroom superbly equipped. View on the nearby mountains (covered with snow in May wich is quite usual). We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant. For dinner, We selected the 5 course menu (up to 8). With this an excellent German white (ABRIl bio) and an excellent French (Savigny les beaumes) red. Wine carte had about 950 entries! Congratulation to the Chef, his menu was at one Michelin star level. I personnaly recommend the Wagyu. Due to the weather, we limited our visit of Murnau to the Münter-Haus only. This is a must for those who like Kandinsky or simply those who want to know how people were living in early 1900. Thanks to the SPA and the indoor pool we spent a relaxing afternoon at Alpenhof. The breakfast was gorgeous (first time that we see honey served on the frame as collected from the hive). Checkin and checkout without delay. Personnel at reception, bar, spa and restaurant very professional. In summary an excellent weekend at Alpenhof in Murnau. Shall be repeated in summer.
Cons: Restaurant is composed of four main rooms, all of them propose the same carte and menu choice. I would suggest to be a bit more selective. And reserve one room for those who prefer a 8 courses menu. Reason is that the service of a 5/8 courses and wines takes longer than a one single dish with a beer. I do like to finish a so delicate and expensive dinner with empty tables around.
6.8 Good
Pros: Spacious bathtub that fits 2 persons.
Cons: The kitchen closes very early (21:00). For a 5 star hotel i would at least expect food service up to 00:00 and ideally 24/7. Also was the choice in the restaurant strange, only very fancy food that was way overpriced for what you got.
7.0 Good
Cons: The weather was to hot and the room wasn't provided with A/c not good to sleep
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful newly renovated room
Cons: Very slow WiFi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This beautifully designed hotel overlooking a commanding view of the mountains did not disappoint. The room was so relaxing, the spa facilities were top class and the food was delicious. We hiked, rested and ate more than we should!! We left feeling so much better.
6.8 Good
Pros: they have good options of breakfast and they have good room service.
Cons: I have bad experience with hotel. I came with my family and when I checked in they told me I have to get another room because I have kids. I told them my kids cannot stay in room alone but they refused. So I stayed in one room with my kids and other room was paid and empty.

Pros: I have stayed at the Villa Bergkristall before. My reservation was handled both courteously and professionally. It is always a joy for me to stay at the Villa Bergkristall. My room is always spotless. The view from the Villa Bergkristall is magnificent!
Cons: Nothing could make my stay any better. I cannot think of anything I could ask for or expect that would change my already highest rating for the Villa Bergkristall. This is my best choice while staying in Bavaria.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a quite part of town. Romy, who handled my reservation, is so nice. She tried so hard to communicate with me using her limited English. She and her husband are some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to have met. Also, my room was spotless!
Cons: There was nothing to not like about the Villa Bergkristall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Villa Bergkristall sits on a small hill overlooking the town, which means you have great privacy as well as great views. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: This small hotel is just lovely. Reception staff were very helpful. We had booked only recently and there was only a tiny room left to book. On arrival we were able to get a bigger room due to a cancellation. Our room was large with a balcony looking over parkland. Lovely breakfast each morning. Just one street back from the delightful Main Street of Murnau. Small off street car park available if you are driving. Great experience.
Cons: Only downside would be no air conditioner. There is heating. This was not a problem as we were there in late summer with milder weather. The balcony doors have a feature that turns them into an opening window allowing cool air in at night whilst staying locked.

Pros: Good location, reasonable price, friendly, very clean

Cons: No English breakfast T
7.5 Good
Pros: The view from our room was really great, mountains and forest. The Kochel lake is not far from the hotel, around 10 min walk; there are also a couple of restaurants. The breakfast was very good; actually, if you're staying for a couple of days you can pre-order e.g. eggs for the next morning - we learned about it only during check-out! The stuff was also very friendly, but we spoke German with them and I am not sure about their English.
Cons: One thing that was really bothering - bad smell in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was clean, but seems there was a problem with tubes or something like that. We also could not open a window there to ventilate it properly.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast and room was perfect
Cons: Staff were rude and uninterested in their guests
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Liked bathroom and shower in particular, also TV was easy to deal with which is often not the case in hotels. (TV was also excellent quality.) Presentation on booking.com was very attractively designed so bravo on that. Only thing I think they should do is mention that hotel parking is available - I did not see mention of it on booking.com and thought I would have to find street parking so was pleasantly surprised.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room style, minimalistic and elegant, great traditional place, very clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful, good restaurant and very central location

7.5 Good
Pros: Check in staff were excellent and helpful, the restaurant staff very also helpful but less friendly. Food was nice and came quite quickly. The single room was comfy with a sort of wet room cubicle for its bathroom. Interesting building with plenty of space and parking.
Cons: The wet room did have a permanent musty kind of smell that lingered, also if you wanted to use the loo after recently showering the floor was still all wet.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful
Cons: Having too leave!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent mid point from Munich to Innsbruck. Good food.
Cons: No problems at all
7.5 Good

Pros: We had a lovely and recently refurbished room with balcony. The food at the restaurant is great. The wifi is reliable and the surroundings just spectacular.
Cons: We arrived on the restaurant's rest day, so we had to phone in advance to find out where we would get our room keys.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It is a very beautiful place. The hotel fits the village perfectly; old fashioned and peaceful.
Cons: The lighting in the bedroon wouldn't suit a writer or serious reader.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing German style gasthof! The staff was very friendly and our room was beautiful!
Cons: There is not much in Jachenau but it's close to the Walchensee and the castle Neuschwanstein!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: People where very nice! Breakfast and dinner was very yummy. Room and bed cosy and nice! Would go back for sure.
6.8 Good
Pros: Front desk person was very friendly and helpful. Old style gasthof was interesting in a very remote corner of Germany reachable by toll road.
Cons: Quite worn and in need of paint and carpet. Balcony was not kept up and ours had no view anyway. Tiniest bathroom ever. Tuesday arrivals have to make special arrangements to get room keys because it is staff rest day - should have read fine print! It turned out okay because of the reunification holiday this week, but could be an issue otherwise.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It is quite a distance from the highway (almost 20 km) but the hotel is a wonderful place, in a small village, not far from the Walchensee. Great surroundings. The restaurant serves the real German food.
Cons: At first the disance from the highway to get there for only 1 nifght. But when the next morning we moved ON along the Walchensee, we were gladly surprised about the wonderful area. Do go there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming authentic hotel, great rooms, very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting in a great area. Food in the hotel is fantastic!!!
Cons: The service in the restaurant was little bit hit and miss. Quite often the food arrived at different times which was a shame as it was excellent food.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good breakfast. Friendly people. Dog friendly.
Cons: The room was small and the walls are rather thin.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We received a warm welcome. Hotel a short walk to the railway station & into the centre of town. Ideal in every way. Lovely big room, very comfy bed & upmarket bathroom. Breakfast was of the highest standard with a huge variety of cereals, dried fruit, breads, meats, cheeses & the best coffee. We were pleased we were able to stay 2 nights. Many many thanks.
Cons: We liked everything. No complaints whatsoever.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good, just 7 minutes walk from the station, and 7 minutes walk to the center where all the restaurants are. We had my best friend's bachelorette party, so we were 7 girls, and had one big top-floor apartment in the main house and one big apartment in the second part of the house. Both were amazing, spacious, with terraces and an amazing view of the mountains. In the apartment there were 2 separate bedrooms for 2 people max. each and spacious bathroom with the shower, bathtub and big sink with the mirror. Everything was there, the only thing missing was toiletries (or maybe we just didn't ask about them since we brought ours along). Apartment also has a big table and a spacious kitchen with stove and dishwasher, fridge. Everything you can imagine! My expectations were not just met but definitely exceeded! The interior is wooden and has a nice vintage vibe. I honestly loved it, and it's perfect for a group stay like we had! Breakfast was good as well :)
Cons: I liked everything! Maybe the only thing is the toiletries were missing (or maybe we just didn't ask).
7.5 Good
Pros: The owner Mr. Joseph was friendly and very kind, the cleaning team must be mentioned so they are very, very lovely. Very big room and tidy. Wide terrace. Car parking is available all time and very close to the poroperty.
Cons: I did not accept the behavior of the person in charge of breakfast, she was not friendly at all.Her handling of the dishes with extreme violence issued disturbing sounds to the guests without concern for the comfort of us. ‏Unfortunately, I noticed that her behavior is different to us as a foreigners compared to others who speak her language.

Pros: Super clean, cosy, quiet. Breakfast is nice and cheap. It's super central. The bathrooms have a bath! There's a social area between rooms where you could hang out (+lots of beanbags, a fridge and a microwave)
Cons: Not a social place really
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, warm welcoming and always ready to help you with any wish (thank you Denise for everything!). That's a quiet and lovely place with adorable sheeps at the backyard (not sure if they belong to the hostel, but still cute).

Pros: - It has amazing views from the terrace and some of the rooms. - The workers are very nice and helpful. - They give you discount vouchers and free buses to some places around. - The room was clean and nice. - You can rent a bike for free (From mid April). - It's cheap compared to any other place in the area as it is the only hostel.
Cons: - Their wifi is terrible. - There is a 1,50€ charge per day per person that we were not told about until the last day. Community tax. - To get a towel you have to pay 1,50€. - Breakfast costs 7€, which in my opinion is very expensive. - There is no common area per se, it's more like a café/restaurant.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a really beautiful hotel, the staff is super friendly, and the town is beautiful everything is 15 minutes away. It’s perfect
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and had a balcony with a beautiful view on the mountains. The location is perfect: near the train station and in 10-15 min walk to the lake. Breakfasts were always very tasty, especially we enjoyed the coffee. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: The third bed in our room was smaller and lower than the other two, it looked like a child’s bed. For tall people it would be really uncomfortable to sleep. The water in the pool could be warmer, at least in winter time.
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff very friendly
Cons: Booked specifically because of the large pool which turned out to be closed for renovation. In this case the €190 were too much for 1 night
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel, close to the lake, walking distance from everywhere.
Cons: The family rooms face the road and can be quite noisy from very early in the morning.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great, convenient location from train and easy walk to lake and surrounding hikes. Friendly, helpful staff with maps available. Good to be able to have dinner and drink onsite after long hike. Satisfactory breakfast.
Cons: Would have appreciated more information on hikes in area - the tourist office was not open on weekend and the maps provided were a bit "high level". Also some information on bus frequency would have added that little extra. Just the "little touches".
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff!!! Good location !

6.8 Good
Pros: Restaurant on the first floor provides good breakfast and tasty local food for the rest of the day. The hotel itself is a historic place. It was imprinted in pictures of V. Kandinsky, G.Munter and others (as you will see in Murnau schlossmuseum).
Cons: Despite all the advantages, hotel is not an ideal for the requested cost. The bells of closely situated st.Nikolas church ring every 15 minutes...even at night And we did't understand why the toilet door was made of transparent glass
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Wifi not strong in room
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable hotel with excellent choice at breakfast. Good shower in bathroom. Ideal for weekend visit to friends.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast - fresh fruit and baked goods.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The waiter provided candles and champagne for our 50th wedding anniversary. Delightful!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extra friendly and very helpful. They loaned us umbrellas repeatedly when it was raining, and a staff member personally drove us back to the train station when no cabs were available.
Cons: I rated the "comfort" score two categories lower than the hotel otherwise deserved as result of one rather bizarre mis- judgement on the hotel management's part which I frankly had never come across before in any hotel : the bathroom door in our room was made out of glass from top to bottom with only minimal "shading". The toilet was right next to the door, basically taking away any privacy in bathroom usage. I don't ever want to see this again in any hotel!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location: it was close to the church, close to the main street. We could walk to every place that we needed to visit. A bank and a supermarket were nearby.
Cons: The internet was very slow. It didn’t work very well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel in an updated historic building. Very cute town and nice area for day trips.

Pros: Spa - after Sauna direct in Lake to cool off.
Cons: Room needs to be renovated. Heaters turn off at 10pm for rest of night.
7.5 Good
Pros: The situation is excellent, just in front of a lake. The view is beautiful and the village nearby Kochel is to be seen. However, I suggest to have a room with lake view, they are absolutely quite.
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The hotel is located right on the lake shore with nice views on surrounding mountains. At breakfast in the hotel restaurant you enjoy views of the lake. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The hotel is very clean and safe. The extra facilities were unexpected for me and an opportunity to go to sauna in the evening after hiking in mountains was great. The buffet breakfast is reach, offering fresh and tasty food. For dinner fresh fish from the lake is served. The stuff is very nice and helpful. An excellent value for money!
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great setting at lake. Superb views. Nice relaxing spa and outdoor area.
Cons: Carpet in room a little shabby. Overall the place will need some renovations in future to keep up with the times.
7.0 Good
Pros: The position was superb and the facilities, especial the dining area and the spa, were great.
Cons: The bedroom was a shocker. It looked and felt like a bedroom built 70 years ago and never upgraded or updated.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help
6.8 Good
Pros: Lake view
Cons: A fridge would have been good. Bathroom was cramped
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and very nice facilities. The nearby towns and lakes provided plenty of options for family entertainment.
Cons: None of the staff speak any English.....not a complaint at all, since this is Germany, but a heads up for potential international guests to learn a few German phrases, or point and smile. ;o)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic views from the bedroom. Great evening meal and breakfast. Very helpful at reception.
Cons: The person who showed us to our room spoke too fast for those with little German. 2 room keys would have been useful as we needed one to get in the outside door as well. We would have loved a drink before we sat down to our evening meal but there seemed nowhere to do this as it was raining.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly stuff, always trying their best to meet clients needs! Comfortable beds.
