Great Budget Lodging
The things that I liked about the place was that it was very affordable and in a great location to explore Narita. If you have the JR pass then you can even take the Narita Express train to cities like Tokyo and Shinjuku relatively quick. This is a great value for the money you’re spending. The showers were clean and the toilets were perfect. Yes, it is a guest house so you have to share. But this in and of itself is a great experience. The staff if very flexible and is fluent in English. The staff is also very friendly and will help you in any way they can. They have space to leave your luggage while you go explore, which in Japan is a great plus!
The only thing I did not like were the pillows and the bed firmness. If you can sleep on a really firm mattress then you have nothing to worry about. I am more of a soft mattress guy so it was a little hard to stay asleep. The pillows are water pillows so if you sleep on your side with your ear against the pillow, then you’ll likely hear the water moving around. It’s quiet soothing sometimes, but sometimes it might keep you up or force you to switch positions.
With a stay at Narita Sando Guesthouse - Hostel, you'll be centrally located in Narita, a 2-minute drive from Naritasan Shinshoji Temple and 9 minutes from Shisui Premium Outlets. Featured amenities include express check-out, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
