Grubby room smelt of smoke!! Very unfriendly staff. Terrible shower couldn’t climb into it very dangerous over a supposed spa bath. Whole experience very poor. Do not recommend.
Most of the staff is rude. They don't even let you see the room and before that you have to make full payment. Breakfast was poor and staff is arrogant about the same. Location is heavily congusted and would not recommend for a business travel. You'll spend hours in traffic to cross the street.
No proper cleanliness. Rooms are simply horrible. Charges are very high. Staff was not customer friendly at all.
There are lots of affordable food places nearby so we got to explore that. Multiple options for many tour operators nearby and we got a really nice gentleman named Raja whose office was 3 doors from the hotel. Whenever I asked for money exchange, the staff inside were prompt about it. Although we had to ask for a lot of things by calling them, once we called the reception, it was done. Connaught Place was 10 minutes from the hotel ao we could get some last minute shopping done. Whoever did the interior of the hotel, did a good job as it looks really nice in comparison to some hotel 3 star properties nearby. One of the biggest reasons for choosing the property was the price of it so we could save some money and explore the city, which we could do. I ordered room service on the last day for lunch and the food was good and not very expensive with a portion size for two people. Our flight was delayed for 2.5 hours and we informed the hotel and the airport pickup was there waiting for us.
We had to call them to turn on the boiler for hot water every time. It took almost 20 minutes to get hot water from the taps. For an entire day, the key card didn't work so every time we got out and tried to get in, it didn't work and we had to go to the reception area to ask them to open the door for us. The breakfast menu was the same every single day; filled with lots of bread but not enough condiments to eat those with. The staff didn't have any uniform, you wouldn't know who works for the hotel and who is an outsider. We went out and gave them the room key for room cleaning but when we came back we saw they didn't do it. We had to call everyday to get our 2 water bottles. Although I asked a non-smoking room, the room next to us was a smoking one and we kept getting the smell of cigarettes for the last 3 days, which was difficult for us as I get allergies from it. There was no safe box inside to keep our money or any valuable items although it's mentioned that it's there. When we asked, they said it was there but now it doesn't work. It seemed that the staff were very bored and/or tired and not really interested in what they were doing hence we had to call them so many times for the simplest things.
Transfers to and from the airport are incredibly helpful. Friendly staff and great communication prior to our visit.
The area is extremely noisy. (The only time we couldn't hear beeping outside our window was from around 4am-5am.) The place is a little worn (but cheaply priced so it depends on what level of comfort you're looking for). Unfortunetly during our stay we had a few cases of cockroaches in the room.
