The fact that they corrected my bill after 2 hours that the overcharged with nearly 100% Yes. The hotel was under construction, lifts did not work, no warm water, the TV did not switch on and no kettle in the room, etc.
location was good. we arrived and were shown to a room that did not match internet picture/ description. eventually we were 'upgraded' to the room we paid for. rooms were dirty (stains on bed, bugs everywhere). tv had a loose connection / bad reception. staff would knock and try to open the door without waiting for a reply. we were awoken at about 2.30 am by construction work going on in hotel itself. we were not given a welcome drink, nor was there a fruit bowl in our room. avoid this hotel like the plague because you might well catch it if you stay there.
convenient location, south indian food, homely atmosphere Buffet breakfast may be extended to all hotel guests. Service in the Amravathi restaurant can be quicker and you should be lucky to find a sitting place in either of the kamat restaurants.
Worst hotel I ever stay !!!!! I booked the hotel in southern but they have offered the room in the building which is 6 building away from . in the early morning 3 am I walked with my family . and for dinner and break fast again we have to walk . also the front office people consider customer as like nothing . as per condition they dint offer airport drop and pick up .
The room was clean and smoke free. Their front office service was horrible. They are totally disorganized and have no customer service sense. Room was meant to be a/c and the Aircon never worked continuously. We woke up at 12.30 am when the a/c stopped working. We tried using the internal phone and the phones were not working. When asked the reception on the problem they blamed the power is gone and since the generator is working a/c is not operational. We had a miserable night without a/c in the room and no fresh air. The climate was hot inside to get any sleep.
Free Internet (WiFi) was available, and that was the best thing that can be said about this hotel The room had no balcony, the breakfast wasn't buffet, but was room service instead, and the portions were smaller (contained fewer items) than listed on the menu. It was hard to tell that on the first day in the new country because of lack of language knowledge
Ok location for the price, general cleanliness also ok for the price. Was given a "super deluxe room" even though I had booked a more expensive suite. No help to get from the staff when we complained about it. One morning they forgot we had ordered breakfast (They have no restaurant, so you will have to order it to the room if you want it). Plus some blood stains on the bed sheet (just a few though).
I am very often come to Delhi for my company work and I have stayed at many hotels in Delhi, but this time I choose Hotel Sunrise. Hotel is located just 2 minut away from Ajmal Khan Market which is biggest market of India and very close to Metro Train Station. The staff of Hotel Sunrise is very helpfull and kind and food was also very good. I like Hotel Sunrise and feel comfortable. Thank you very much for Hotel Sunrise Staff. I reccomand to every one who come to Delhi.
Location is good, although very difficult to find- tell drivers to take you to the Regent Hotel in Karol Bagh- this hotel is right beside it. A metro station is nearby, taxi rides to the main sites are inexpensive, and the area is lively. Breakfast is decent, although there is no restaurant as advertised- room service only. Disregard the hotel's 3 star status. It's a reasonable and functional hotel, but not exactly great value for money. The room doesn't get cleaned during your stay, the sheets aren't very clean (no top sheet even included), our shower head was broken and even when we raised the issue they just told us to take bucket showers.
Not much. The location was not the one stated on the map on booking.com. Actually, the hotel is located at the end of a narrow street and not easy to find. According to the map, the hotel was located at a wide street and near a metro station. Service was awful. The room didn't correpond to what was shown on booking.com website. They didn't provide sheets and when they did they were dirty. We had to change to another room twice, one of them because the door was boken.
We'd spend two nights and they didn't made the room in beetwen nights; we were wondering if this is normal or they just forgot us. Very pricely compare to other hotels in the same area/ same quality. In the other hand, they came and pick us up from the airport at 4:00am at no cost.
