Hotel and staff were excellent and very helpful. Rooms were large and very nice/clean. Mattress was a little stiff for me personally but would stay again.
Pros. Beds were really comfortable, room was huge, very quiet.
Cons. The option for late check out
Pros. Staff members were helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice and roomy. Hotel was in excellent condition. It was close to Canal Street to view the parades.
Cons. Breakfast offerings. Other Hyatt’s have free breakfast. You would think that because the Centric is on the high end that breakfast would be offered. Chuck and the bar staff was excellent. The food was great.
Pros. Location, service, facilites
Cons. Us very noissy, Trucks and service vehicles work oitside of the hotel every morning at 5 am. The hotel May change the windows for a sound proof windows.
Pros. The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. Everyone I spoke with wanted to make sure we were taken care of and it felt like they were willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy. I had a small reception for my wedding at The Redfish Grill that's attached to the hotel and it was a great experience. I believe our waitress was Anne or Anna and she was very kind, personable, and provided the best service possible. I would definitely recommend this Hyatt to someone looking to stay in NOLA.
Cons. The only con I have for the hotel is the Powdered Sugar cafe attached to the hotel. My husband and I didn't get our orders on time (in a busy setting, I would understand. There were only two or three other tables seated) and what we did get was continually incorrect with no apology or explanation. At some point my plate was taken from me without saying anything with my fork still on it where I had dropped it. Overpriced for what it is.
Cons. I made a reservation on a busy weekend. When I arrived at the front desk told me they were overbooked and I did not have a room. There were no other hotels available so I went back to the airport, slept they're all night and purchased a ticket for a flight home.
Pros. It was perfectly located and thr workers were all very helpful and friendly.
Pros. Normally i do not do reviews however this hotel was exceptional. Great friendly helpful staff. Unpon arrival was given an upgraded room. Extremely convenient location to everything. Spacious room. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, will be back
Cons. The bathroom was the only downfall. Could of had a larger vanity sink countertop area and a ceiling exhaust fan. Otherwise ideal room
