Liked that the snacks and drinks in mini fridge was included. Also, front desk lady was super nice and friendly. She was great!
Pros. Excellent room, very spacious.
Cons. There were some ants on the desk however. Otherwise very clean, quiet and convenient.
Pros. The pillows were good and the towels were clean looking. The staff was friendly and responsive when my TV had no connection.
Cons. I didn't appreciate that anyone could walk off the street & go up the elevator. There was a full-time front desk attendant, but they couldn't possibly remember every face of people staying there, so anyone could walk past them and have access to your hotel room door. The room was generally run down. Carpet stains, tired bed & bedding, and corners in bathroom were moldy. The worst thing was the shower. It was very small (& I am a small person) and the shower head was terrible, with no way to adjust it, and there was no pressure.
Pros. Excellent location. Room was very small, but clean and well appointed. Desk staff was very helpful. If you plan to do a lot of hanging out in your room, you probably want to look elsewhere. If you're looking for a comfortable place to sleep after a day of business or other activities in NYC, hard to beat it.
Pros. Easy parking next door with a special rate of $35 for 24hr's Great price for the area.
Cons. It's just compact and small but hey it's NYC.
Pros. Room was comfortable, not very large but enough space for a single traveler which I was.
Cons. The room didn't have a window. While it ended up being OK since I was in the city for business, I would have rather had a window to look out.
Pros. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet. I was able to get an early check-in and a late check-out
Cons. Not much in the way of extras (breakfast, space, etc) but I wasn't surprised
Pros. Location. The hotel manager was very professional in offering me the opportunity to get a refund for my second night, given inability to sleep, as per comments below. Still waiting for refund though.
Cons. Room had no windows. Instead, there was a ventilation system that droned on and off all night and kept me awake the entire night. Had to cut my trip short and find another place to stay.
