Pros. The decor was really cute, nautical themed! The bed was comfortable and we were able to actually sleep three in the middle of Time Square with one queen on the bottom and a double (I think, that or a twin, but it felt a little bigger) on top! A short walk to the theatre district and close to all the hustle and bustle, but nicely contained. The breakfast was included in our price and it was actually worth it, there was a wider assortment than I usually see in hotel breakfasts and it was served until noon when we were there. I would say overall the amenities put us over the top for the trip. If I had to stay in the middle of the city again, I'd definitely try for this hotel again.
Cons. There was a few small areas in the room that were peeling and I think a different ladder to get to the top "bunk" would be safer. The tiny metal rungs were a bit precarious (maybe something slightly slanted with larger steps to get up?).
Pros. I am not a big fan of being in the middle of Times Square, however Room Mate Grace has a very cozy, boutique feel, which I love. The staff are friendly and I love the design details (ex: dimmer switches!) of the rooms. I am looking forward to staying at Room Mate Isabella in Florence in a month!
