Overview

A historic hotel built in 1927 and re-opened in 2009, The Mark is one of the best contemporary luxury hotels in New York. The high-end, posh design speaks to a fashionable crowd, and much of the clientele is in town on business, some bringing families along to enjoy the city.

The Mark is located in the heart of Manhattan's Upper East Side at the corner of 77th Street and Madison Avenue. The Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan is known for fancy apartment buildings and homes and world-class shopping. Central Park is the only famed attraction within walking distance of the hotel. However, there is one subway station within a four-minute walk offering one train line.

The Mark is limited in on-site features but offers a plethora of luxe extras and partnerships that are finely curated to high-class guests. There is an extensive gym and beautiful designer Republic Bikes available for guests to use. There's also a stylish pedicab to transport guests to the park and museums. Another standout feature is the world-famous Frederic Fekkai Salon, where guests can get full-service hair styling and treatments, as well as manicures, pedicures, and massages.

The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges hosts gourmet breakfast, brunch, lunch, late lunch, dinner, dessert, late-night menus, and 24-hour room service, all while featuring a connecting bar serving up classic and signature cocktails. For shoppers, The Mark has a partnership with Bergdorf Goodman that grants access to personalized shopping and fashion advice. Guests also get free laundry service, shoeshines on the second floor, and free WiFi.
