Hallmark Resort Newport is a gorgeous hotel that sits on the majestic Oregon coast. This is one of the few hotels in which every single room has an oceanfront view. All of the rooms 100% non-smoking and the hotel has several rooms set aside for guests that are traveling with pets.
There are four different types of rooms at Hallmark Resort Newport. The traditional rooms are classicly styled hotel rooms with a flat-screen TV, balcony, and gas fireplaces that can warm the room when the weather gets chilly. The Traditional Rooms can sleep two, four or six people. Limited Edition Rooms are just the like Traditional rooms, except more spacious, while the Admiral Rooms offer an upscale experience with a kitchen and two-person spa tub. Finally, guests that want a little more room to spread out, or are traveling with larger numbers, can a multi-bedroom suite.
Hallmark Resort Newport has many different facilities for visitors to use during their visit. On the first floor is a fully furnished recreational facility with a sauna, spa, and saltwater pool. Outside of the aquatic area is a fitness center and a playground, horseshoe pits and a volleyball court. The hotel also has a fully-equipped business center with a high-end computer, printer, fax machine, copy machine, and dedicated parcel delivery area.
There are some excellent restaurants nearby, but Hallmark Resort Newport has an acclaimed restaurant integrated onto its first floor. Georgie's is a beachside grill offering casual Northwest cuisine. Georgie's has the same breathtaking views as the hotel. Because of the restaurant's proximity to the ocean, visitors can expect to see plenty of fresh seafood dishes on the menu. Some of the local favorites on the menu include wild-caught Northwest salmon with pineapple salsa, panko breaded halibut tacos and Yaquina Bay oysters, which are pan-fried and served with cocktail and tartar sauces.
