Pros: Beautiful grounds and nice location within walking distance of a nice restaurant. Very nice innkeeper.
Cons: A little pricey for April. Room was nice but not spectacular. The old style key lock on the door was very difficult to lock and unlock.
Located near a train station, Whistling Swan Inn is a great choice for a stay in Stanhope. Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and cross-country skiing, and free perks include full breakfast, WiFi, and self parking.
Pros: The hotel was nice clean and accomdating. Plebty of amenities. Wish Inhad stayed longer.
Pros: Coffee is excellent, including Keurig cups in the room! Service is great.
Cons: Depending on what one eats, breakfast could have been better, but this is an added bonus. Besides, Cracker Barrel is next door! I was surprised that the TV was so small, but I don't go to the hotel to watch TV.
Cons: Slow Wifi Overall blandness.
Cons: Walls are to thin. I could hear couple arguing in adjacent room at midnight. Made falling asleep very difficult
Pros: Location was great the staff was outstanding answered all question positively. They simply took care of my needed
Pros: it was reasonable
Cons: The location
Pros: Price, quality for the price, cleanliness, helpful staff.
Pros: Staff was very pleasant and the location was great.
Cons: Room didn't seem clean (found an empty bag of Cheeto's behind the nightstand when I went to plug my phone in). Very noisy due to the rooms placement.
Pros: The staff was excellent in attending to our questions and our room was spotless. Thanks for directing us to this motel.Larry
Pros: location was good. great breakfast - great selection of breakfast items.
Cons: lots of cold air coming in where the unit meets the wall. I have stayed at this particular hotel quite a bit lately and I find myself constantly fighting with the closet doors - not on track, etc. a littel disappointed with the snow removal
I almost get the impression that people come from the outside to take advantage of the free breakfast and managers reception at night.
Pros: location, price, breakfast,
Cons: there were some loose tiles in my bathroom - no big deal for me, but something to be aware of. the clearing of the snow this time took a bit longer. like the people doing the clearing have the hotel as a secondary customer?

Pros: It had one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in (including my own). Something about the sheets and pillows just made it a really comfortable bed.
Cons: Unfortunately the pool was out of service when we arrived, which had been a primary selling point for our choosing this hotel in the first place. I also had imagined that the room would have had more of a wall between the bed and sofa/living room area.
Pros: The room was laid out well and furnishings were nice. The hotel overall was very nice as well
Cons: Parking was minimal and the gps for the address drops you in a state forrest
Pros: The beds were nice and comfortable.
Cons: We were dissapointed to find the pool closed. Also, there was a large Passover celebration, and all the children were running around screaming and fighting in the hallways. They left quite a bit of garbage strewn throughout the hotel. Very very loud.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and an above average breakfast served in a comfortable and pleasant dinning area. An outstanding hotel experience.
Pros: What wonderful, friendly and clean hotel... I can't wait to return! Easy access to anywhere in NJ.
Pros: Not far from highway.
Cons: Pool closed for maintenance for entire morning.
Pros: room was nice and breakfast was great
Pros: The clean kitchen in my room. :)
Cons: Parking in the front of the hotel seemed somewhat limited. There is plenty of parking on the side and back of hotel.
Pros: Clean room, all the amenities, and free breakfast.
the breakfast bar had a lot of variety and the food was excellent. Also liked the make-up removal kits.
Pros: `The rooms are huge and with full size refrigerator, oven, dishwasher and microwave, it's like living in an apartment.
Cons: would have preferred if bathroom sink was connected to toilet/bathtub with door into that room. Had to turn on light to wash hands in middle of the night and this woke up partner. Also our room key became disabled after first night but was replaced quick
Pros: Room was great. Breakfast was solid.

Pros: For my purpose the stay was excellent. I especially like that it was very quiet.
Cons: The included breakfast was poor-there were no eggs or breakfast meats and the coffee was not good.
Cons: When we got to our room, the closet door didn't open. We were immediately transferred to a different room. Here the toilet kept flushing all night. I registered our complaint and it was fixed during the day. When we came back to our room and I flushed the toilet, it kept running. Someone was called in and fixed the problem 4 hours later. The bathtub plug did not work and the sink totally lacked a drain plug. The surround around the tub was either worn or moldy. This place needs a lot of maintenance.
Pros: Definitely the price was great and close to where we visited. Sofa area separate from beds; frig, microwave and neat bench and mirrored closet. Hot beverages, cereal, waffles, pastries, etc. for breakfast.
Cons: Smelled smoke going through the air system and complained. Was suppose to be smoke free. Beds were firm, been on harder ones. Noise level low. Liked being on 1st floor.
Pros: Everything was great.
Pros: The hotel was an excellent value for money. The staff were very courteous and welcoming. Great location close to the highway with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.
Cons: The breakfast selection was very limited. I could smell smoke in the bathroom whenever someone in an adjacent room had a cigarette.
Pros: Not really anything
Cons: Bed covers had stains on them, the price was to high for the room

Pros: Good location near Long Valley chester and other small towns without hotels.
Cons: Very good beds very good sleep!!'
Pros: Hotel was located close to our family for a 5 day visit. With one exception, room was clean and well maintained. Morning breakfast food variety was very good.
Cons: Toilet (lid/seat) was stained with hair dye and could not be cleaned. Should have been replaced.
Pros: Late check out available. Kind service. Upgraded room. In same location as meeting hall.
Cons: A/C difficult to have desired temp and feel.
Pros: it was clean an quiet, free wifi is a plus.
Cons: the complimentary breakfast was a bit spartan.
Cons: They could not print off a receipt for me (hotel style, not just the credit card slip I signed). I need it to turn in for expense report, and they could not provide one. I will not stay there again due to this.

Cons: False Advertising! They advertise all these amenities-great restaurant, great food, full bar & had none of those. Rate on room remaineed the same. Sent Complaint to Gen Mgr & Sales Mgr and they didn't even have the courtesy to respond. Awful experience!
Pros: Comfortable bed Good temperature control Heated bathroom floor
Cons: 2 unscheduled wake up calls at 5:30am & 6:30am. Also the bedside alarm clock alarmed at 8:30am and we did not set it. we had the 'do not disturb' sign on the door for 11 am checkout. At 10:20am housekeeping pounded on the door. Will not return.
Pros: The heated floors and room service with linen and towels.
Cons: Nothing at all; wonderful, peaceful, comfortable experience.
Pros: The location
Cons: The restaurant closed at 730PM despite posting hours until 10PM since 'they were slow'??! We had a 10 hour motorcycle ride and chose the location based solely on an onsite restaurant. Unacceptable! Don't post amenities if they are not reliable! Dishonest!
Pros: Very nice. Clean and the staff was very helpful. The price is right. I will definitely stay there again in the future.
Cons: The layout of the hotel and finding places in the hotel is a little confusing even with the map given at the front desk. The description said the room had a microwave but there wasn't one. But the solved the problem very quickly and brought one up.
For whatever reason, the hotel was very empty, except they decided to load every guest on the first floor so the floor was noisy and crowded. The rest of the hotel felt like the Shining - empty and creepy with meandering hallways, inadequate signage and lobbies/common areas with no one. We requested a room far away from the elevators, but there was no button to click a room that didn't have neighbors in every room. The hotel was no way close to filled. The cleaning staff didn't even get to our room until 4pm the first afternoon, even though we were out at 9am. Honestly, for the price, we should've received free drinks at happy hour and free buffet breakfast. I'd rather stay at a Days Inn or Best Western where we would be clear what we're getting. No way this is 3 1/2 stars.
Pros: It was in a nice location near bushkill falls.
Cons: The room needed maintenance, with peeling paint, and honestly for a premium hotel in the area, it was only at Days Inn level of fit and finish. Common areas, hallways and stairways seemed worn and not really maintained.
Pros: Close to area attractions. Restaurant was very good.
Cons: The room was supposed to have a microwave in it (which we needed) and it didn't. I spoke to the front desk twice and both times was told they would bring one and they never did.
When visiting Bushkill, Bushkill Inn and Conference Center is a great choice to consider. Guests can indulge in massages, body wraps, or body scrubs, and The Steakhouse, one of 2 restaurants, serves American cuisine and is open for dinner. 2 bars/lounges and an indoor pool are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like iPod docks, bathrobes, and pillowtop beds with premium linens.
Cons: The entrance is just around a curve in the road with lots of trees and the entrance sign is very small, so it's easy to miss.
Overall better than many. Could use 2 chairs in the room, not just one.
Pros: Close to where I needed to be. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds.
Cons: Bathroom a bit small. Nightclub is attached to motel - music entirely too loud, to the point where we actually felt vibrations. Do not stay here if they are having an event.
Don't use them their rooms smelled and their service stunk
Pros: No they didn't I was satisfied
Cons: I didn't like anything about it

Pros: Convenient to I-80 and to the International Trade Center (which has lots of stores and restaurants). Nice room, small kitchenette, good water pressure, temperature control and and few TV channels.
Cons: Upon immediate arrival notice that the entry doors are not automatic, so get ready for some luggage juggling. The counter doesn't always look like it's staffed.
"Breakfast" is really just a grab & go style of mediocre coffee and granola bars, packaged muffin or fruit. And they wrap that up on the dot at closing. (Thankfully a short drive away - in the ITC is Subway, McDonalds, Wendy's and Panera as other morning options.)
Really you need to keep coffee out all day, it's cheap and it shows some class.

When visiting Andover, Tamaracks Country Villa is a great choice to consider. Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, and free full breakfast is available daily between 8 AM and 9:30 AM.
Cons: Elevator had horrible smell. Room had pieces of notebook paper taped to walk covering holes
Pros: The hotel is clean and they are working to upgrade carpets, countertops, etc. but, I was very concerned by the fact that the side entrance was left unlocked at all hours of the day and night. I value my safety above all else so the hotel failed miserably in that front.
Cons: Staff wasn't terribly friendly but they did work to meet requests. Safety

Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful (only had one interaction needed though). WiFi was nice since there was LITERALLY nothing around the area. I mean, you get what you pay for. I just needed a place to sleep for one night, so it was fine for that.
Cons: Kind of an out in the middle of nowhere area; however, not unsafe though. The closest I could find to Mountain Creek for Spartan Race on such short notice. Rather thin walls though as the lady next door was yelling about something (she finally stopped).
The owners are very nice and helpful. The motel's in-progress renovations include a whole, new office, red shutters for the rooms and...well, I'm sure there's more coming. The bed was quite hard and springy, not like the memory foam I'm used to, but catch this: among the data my CPAP machine I use for sleep apnea records and broadcasts each day is how many sleep apnea events I have, sometimes as low as .4 per night but averages at 1. Want to guess which night in the month I've been using it scored zero sleep apnea events? So the bed may not feel as if it's comfortable but I certainly slept well! Knowing that the rundown aspects are what I expected and that I'm assuming the renovations will extend into the rooms, I'm guessing that things will improve overall. A tent has no bathroom, running water, microwave, refrigerator, TV, or lock. This place has all of that, all for a total of $--- for the night. So, it's better than a tent! I also did a close search for bedbugs when I first walked in and it was clean, no signs of infestation at all. No frills expected, none found, none received, none paid for. A square deal all around.
Pros: You don't get what you don't pay for, and that's ok with me. I just needed a base camp for the 13 or so hours in between my trip phases, no frills needed nor expected. This motel is currently under renovation, at least on the outside. No bugs!
Cons: Old room furniture clearly from estate sale or similar but who cares? Dirty ice bucket should be replaced. Toilet runs, bathroom tissue thinner than graphene, shower head too frugal with water, door hard to unlock even with key. Kind of like home.
Pros: How quiet the place was.
Cons: The only thing i did not like, was that it did not have many TV channels.
Pros: The evening desk staff was very pleasant. The location was great for where we needed to go.
Cons: I called this hotel twice. I reached the same gentleman both times. I was calling out of courtesy to let them know that, even though we had a reservation for two nights, we would only be there on the second night. He was very rude on the telephone.
Pros: close to home and quite
Cons: no restaurants or stores around the area
