The Glengate Hotel & Suites

Breakfast was a joke! The parking lot was terrible. Breakfast was terrible. I wouldn’t want to take my older kids here for vacation that’s for sure. Loud love making few doors down from us next morning lol haha first time hearing that in a hotel but then again I should have known with the look and price of this place. I did not get what I requested but got no refund. Room had cobwebs and very chemical smell. Fridge froze my milk and veggies. Heater took me a while to figure out how to set temperature. At first it was too hot. There is a bit of smell maybe because it's carpeted. That their was no microwave in the room. That's a pain to have to go down in the lobby to warm up food. Door to balcony was. The heating is old and the room is dark. Shower is not draining well. Breakfast. There was a huge stain on the floor. It was clean. But it could have been done better. It just looks off. Food. Everything was good. Nothing to complain about. If there is something you need, the staff are accommodating and very respectful. Bed frame stuck out further than mattress. Hit my leg on it several times. Waffle batter was poor. The mattress was awful…no firmness to it. Should have been replaced long ago. The toilet was designed for midgets…very low and a “small” seat opening. Difficult to get on or off. Breakfast was adequate but could have offered more…i.e. buns, jams, a wider fruit selection. There were only small apples. And the room lighting was poor. We felt it could have brighter bulbs for reading purposes. The lady at the reception was very bad in her treat with us and was not helpful and we didn't feel satisfied from the way she treated customers. Old….. bathroom door was broken. Fan noisy from other rooms at night. Maybe we had breakfast when they just ran out of their eggs. The large garbage bin at the back needs to move so it would be easier to larger cars. N/a. The bet the TV the room not good. The rooms and washrooms need an upgrade, the amenities also, the TV in my room wasn’t a smart TV, my kids couldn’t watch anything. Please upgrade the TV and put microwaves in the rooms. It’s too stressful going downstairs to microwave. The front desk seemed dark and sketchy. Room was very noise. You can hear a lot of noise and can wake up often due to the same. Room was not soundproof. Room was not soundproof. You can hear a lot of noise from outside and adjacent rooms. Everything. Lack of proper cleaning especially on the ceiling. Room was smelling badly. The room we stayed is very small and only has one chair ?. It smells bad and dirty. Not a lot of choices for breakfast.
