Very close to Messe and very nice staff.
Extremely tiny rooms which make the stay very uncomfortable. Bugs in the bathroom and hangers broken just placed as they were fixed to the wall. Very small bed, someone taller than 1,65m will not fit.
Nice breakfast and service, silence in room
Room dimension, a bit small
Breakfast was ok i guess. But again, this was not as nice as I am used to when I book something in this price range..
Wanted to have a nice hotel, so picked an expensive one in the city center. Well, as it turns out, that is no guarantee for a Luxury experience in the middle of a city center. The hotel is ok i guess, but is not as nice as i expected for this high price. Room was small, and quite basic, that furniture was there when the berlin wall stull stood i imagine. Room was cold as well when we came in.. How hard is it to give that knob a twist when you're expecting guests? Bed was no fun either, for when you want to lay close to eachother. Pillows were too thin, usually I am not picky about these things, but this sucked. Did not sleep very good both nights. Hotel is located in a dull street, a couple of Subway stops from the actual city center. The absolute worst thing for me personally was the fact that IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER 22:00 YOU CAN NOT CHECK IN, YOU LOSE YOUR ROOM, AND DO NOT GET A REFUND?!! A hotel in this price range, which has been here for half a century can not mis the money for a minimum wage doorman foor after hours?? What if you get stuck in traffic? Homeless for a night? Unbelievable.. This only appeared clearly after booking this *non-refundable*, so my girlfriend had to make quite an effort to get of work earlier, just to make it on time. Really, this is so unacceptable for such an expensive hotel.
The location was excellent. Metro station right beside. Very clean and nicely decorated.
Unfortunately, the prices go up during the Toy Fair.
The hotel was nice and very Convenient as it was close to the Messe.
The beds were very small and uncomfortable. Also the shower soap dispensers were broken
