Great location. Large room with kitchen. Separate sleeping room.
Every single staff member I talked to was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for 5 days with our 7 month old daughter and they had a packnplay ready and cleaned everyday for her! The hotel is right on the beach and a perfect spot for a family vacation as shopping and restaurants are close by! We loved our stay in New Smyrna at the Best Western.
My thoughts are it's better now than when it was Holiday Inn.
Room was clean and great views. We were given a handicap room which was not part of the original reservation.
Good location: on the beach and within walking distance of restaurant, bar and shops. The facilities are also well taken care of and the staff is very helpful.
The beach views and location The price
The unique design of the double bed rooms was nice. We liked the kitchenette/seating area so we could invite our travel partners to play cards or watch TV together. The pool area overlooking the ocean was great! No free breakfast. That would move it up in the ratings and keep your census at 100%.
Good location. Nice to have kitchenette. The only major turnoff for this spot is you can drive on the beach. Seems ridiculous to allow cars and trucks on the beach with kids running around.
The room was nice. Good pillows.
Very comfortable beds. We were in a room on the ground floor, and footsteps from the room above were very loud. So apparently it's not a very solidly-built place, but otherwise good.
Close to Space Coast, good price for the location. Minor hotel room issues- soap/shampoo was not replaced after first night, some channels not on TV
Breakfast was crowded
Breakfast was perfect!
Breakfast and coffee was good. The A/C unit did not cool the room, sweated most of the night. The smell was a wet-bleach smell (not clean smelling). The room had a lot of wear and tear.
It was near to Kennedy Space Center, there were a lot of cheap restaurant choices, a delicious steak house attached, and it was close to generic shopping. The beds were relatively comfortable, the TV worked well, and the wifi was FAST (I was able to watch Netflix on my phone with no issues). It was very quiet and had a nice gym, a good variety of foods at the free breakfast, and a nice pool to hang out in. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The first room I was given had a lot of fruit flies in it, concentrated at the window and near the bathroom. The room wasn't DIRTY per say, but there were bugs anyways. The woman at the front desk immediately apologized and switched rooms for me when I informed her. However, the second room also had some fruit flies, though much less and I didn't feel like switching again, so I decided to put up with it. During my stay I also found a bunch of ants at the threshold and a cockroach under the keurig. Basically, it's got a bit of a bug issue, but this is a motel in Florida. 5 STAR HOTELS in Florida have similar bug problems, but if you can't stand a single bug in your room, this would not be the place for you.
I was staying with a friend and we were meeting up with family in Smyrna Beach and Orlando. Needed a cheap place to stay. I would say this is exactly what we were looking for. Rooms are standard hotel rooms, nothing fancy, they are clean. Continental breakfast was very basic, toast, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee. We were looking for something a little more comprehensive but there is a Waffle House that's basically in the parking lot if you're looking for a cheap fast breakfast. Also there's a great little place in Titusville called "Steve's" that had a really great breakfast and is not a far drive from the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Really overall no complaints. If you're looking for an affordable hotel that you're just going to use for sleeping while you go off and have a fun vacation than this place fits the bill! The only complaint I had is that they didn't tell us that if you keep your hotel key by your phone or credit cards it deactivates. They told us when we brought them back, but as a 20 something year old with a small purse I struggled with finding a place to keep my room key that wasn't near my phone or purse, ended up having to lock it in the rental car. just an FYI, don't make the same mistake!
Everything was great! The room was clean, quiet, well equipped, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The Free breakfast was fabulous! The location can't be beat for visiting Kennedy Space Center. No complaints.
free wifi, close to Cape Carnaveral, close to shopping options, enough space in a standard queen double bed room. pool hours (only until 5pm), room was not clean (hairs in bathroom and bed), bottles below the bed, breakfast not good (dry eggs, bad juice and coffee), no fresh fruits, very small room for such a large hotel, restrooms right next to breakfast tables, kind of loud between the highway crossings, restaurant exhausts and garbage collection way to close to the rooms. Room AC old and weak. Spilled out musty air. Carpet in rooms in such a wet environment is not suitable. Room smelled moisty. We found other hairs in bed/pillows and bathroom and plastic bottles below the beds.
The facility was really nice. Clean rooms, convenient location. There was NO hot water at all! There was a problem with the entire hotel building we were in, that the staff was aware of and just said, "sorry". They were sold out the evening we stayed, so they couldn't offer us a room where the hot water was working. We had to take cold showers and the water pressure was horrible!! We asked if they could give us a discount or a discount on a future stay at the same hotel and they said NO. Not good. We really liked this place and would have given it all excellent ratings, but since we had no hot water and the staff was not willing to compensate us, I have to give it middle marks for this stay.
Good bed, clean, great staff
I found the location was perfect.
Modern, clean, fresh smelling. Good breakfast. very nice updated property. Will stay here again. Nothing
Staff was very friendly and knowledgable. Continental breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful when our grandson lost his stuffed animals (they were returned to us by the staff).
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even helped us find our grandson's missing stuffed animals that he left behind in their room the day before.
Historic 1885 building has a Vibe and charm like no other place in New Smyrna it is truly an excellent overall experience from the staff to each room being uniquely different the beds the pillows flat screen TVs balconies the turndown service with mint and in Room Service continental breakfast and even the towels both bathroom and Beach it's just those little things that sets this place apart along with its proximity to downtown New Smyrna and the beach it is now become our go to place when we stay over in New Smyrna Beach Besides leaving it's hard to find anything if I had to say something the bathrooms are fine but they could use up some upgrading which I understand they are in the process of doing
Can't say enough good things about this hotel. The location is perfect. 24/7 coffee available in lobby. Nice pool. Walking distance from New Smyrna's attractions. Balcony. Robes. Everything was first class. Love that TMC is playing on the lobby television to really give the classic feel of this hotel. No complaints. Please with everything.
Swimming pool Air conditioner was too noisy and a slight smell in room as is previously used by smokers
friendly service, clean rooms nothing
It was a good stay based on the low cost. Everything worked and was clean enough for the price. We did not see any bugs, which is a huge factor for me. It needs to be updated a bit more. Pillows were very small. It was clean in general but floor grout and baseboards were in need of some tlc.
Well appointed, clean and beautiful room and hotel. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly. Appears to be owner opperated.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was EXTRAORDINARY. Nothing.
Very nice room and location

The beds are the best. Privacy is great.
Excellent staff, the room was amazing, breakfast made fresh by a professional chef, beautiful dock where we saw Dolphins playing.
Staff were so friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Private dock to sit and watch dolphins was a plus. Not a single thing was wrong with this place.
The staff and the rooms were amazing!!!
Right on beach. Walking distance to historic downtown. Spacious kitchen/living area. Very uncomfortable bed and flat pillows!
Location, location, location This huge hotel did not have a ice machine!
cleanliness, location no

My wife & I spent a, very lovely, week at the Coconut Palms Beach Resort, in September and enjoyed every minute! You step out of the Resort, onto the beautiful beach and you can walk leisurely, to the small downtown area, complete with shops & restaurants. During the stay, my wife took stand-up paddle board lessons & fell in love with it. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
The staff was great, however the toilet ran off and on alnight
right on ocean and lots of activities for kids and some for adults too! It was close enough to a few bars and restaurants to walk and also some on the beach. elevator broken down for a bit. Room a bit small but sufficient
LOCATION AND CLEANLYNESS OF ROOM NO
Gorgeous view. Best on upper floors. Balconies. Wifi. Tv's good. Condo desk people were no always responsive. Elevators worked efficiently. Parking good. Very convenient to Flagler st. Good shopping. Love this area. Studio condo had no tub stopper. We were told none was available. Bought one ourselves at Walgreens. Also, no ice machines. This studio also had no ice trays in freezer. Bought some ourselves!
Location Checking mistake of unrequited upgrade and unannounced price upgrade. Overcharge was promptly refunded when it was questioned.
How nice and quiet it is! No place to eat there
We stayed in a bungalow and had no noise from other people around us. Loved the view. No
Close to local routes. Easy to find. comfortable. The beds were just a little too hard.
Quiet Included breakfast sunset hotel improve menu you only have 1 choice no subsitutions
Pool spa breakfast Musty mold smell in room
Staff was friendly , lobby was clean and inviting... Air conditioning didn't work well, we sweat all night with AC on high set at 62degrees. It never got below 78 degrees. Rooms were outdated and bathroom floors were disgusting . Beds were uncomfortable. Hallway corridor was Hot and smelled foul. .
We booked a non smoking suite with 2 queen beds. When we arrived, the front desk gave us a 2 queen bed standard room. After going back to the front desk, they gave us s smoking suite. We were told that it was the only remaining suite. The smell was horrible, we had an awful night, especially our son who coughed a lot due to his allergies. For the two remaining nights of our stay, we moved into a non smoking suite and it was much better, even if the hotel remains quite old and needs updates.
Another great stay at this Ramada Inn. Clean, friendly, great price. Front desk, as always, courteous and efficient. Cleaning staff - what a great job on the rooms. Clean, Clean, Clean. Comfortable. No issues whatsoever. I commend Mr. Shah for the amount of work he's put into his hotel. I get to Titusville several times a year to visit family and choose this hotel without a second thought. Plenty of places to eat within a few hundred yards, walmart in case you needed something else. Close to the interstate, and Denny's on-site, with 2 meal tickets good for breakfast.
Kelli the night clerk was the only employee with a good attitude. Notes left in the room spelling out the costs of every item except shower head. I took it as an insinuation of theft. The employees were with exception of (Kelli at the fron desk), were not helpful at all. When asked a question (about amenities, including breakfast) if they bothered to answer it was in a short rude manner. The location was simply the initial reason I stayed there. And that remains. There are however a few different choices in the area to consider for my return trips.
The staff was somewhat accommodating when our reservation was messed up. The cleaning/facility staff were pleasant. The rooms smelled of amonia and mildue and were not clean. The first room was so bad my child wouldn't go in. We had to change rooms. In my elderly grandmother's room, the frame of the bed was too big for the mattress and protruded from under the bed. We complained after she hurt herself the second time, but nothing was done. The free Dennys breakfast was a kids meal, a single pancake, egg and bacon strip with no substitutions. The beds were old and uncomfortable, dipping in the middle. For an extra $50/night, we could have stayed at the Hampton, which is what we will do next time. This hotel used to be decent and a better value.
The staff / customer service and how close it is to highway Moldy / musty smell and looks old and run-down but charge like it was a high-end hotel
Location to the cape was excellent. Loved the laundry center, very convenient. Hotel was very outdated needs upgrade. Didn't like seeing people not staying at hotel gained access to pool area.
It was close to ksc. That was the only plus Walls are paper thin. Room was moldy smelling because the a/c was leaking.
Room was very clean and well stocked with towels, etc. Front desk very helpful and courteous. Hot breakfast was well done. Parking convient. Nothing
Breakfast above average. Clean facility and staff friendly. Location safe.
Allowed us to check in early for a minimum fee, which was much appreciated.
The room was spacious and comfortable and the housekeeping was excellent. Good location near Merritt Island. Had to wait in the lobby, along with other guests, for a room assignment even though we arrived in the afternoon at check-in time. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced but waiter, although nice, was inexperienced and I had to keep asking for things he should have noticed - refill water glass, remove empty wine glass, bring bread and butter, etc. In spite of these glitches, would return and would recommend to others.
- staff - room size - location - mini fridge was noisy (turned off)
Location Unit needs some renovation , appliances are old specially the oven , took more than 2 hours to roast a chicken! . During our stay the air conditioning unit stopped working several times , weather helped being in the low 70's... but last night of our trip it was hot and we called maintenance and the person showed up around 9pm to try to fix it without results... It was a nightmare!!! , good we were leaving next morning! This company doesn't have a sense of "CUSTOMER SERVICE"
Location Clean Comfortable Staff at times a bit confused, specifically front desk
Upon attempting check-in the clerk would not take my name or look up my reservation to see if the room was ready. She also refused to call me if it became ready before the official time. I was rudely told to come back after 3pm. A few minutes later, I saw her check-in two other couples. Upon approaching another clerk, I was told my room was indeed ready. This was an extremely disappointing way to start out stay after traveling 22 hours.
Breakfast was good. I liked the location. We had a leak in the bathroom the first 2 days. The only other room they had to put us in was as far away as possible. Also, I was told they would get us a small refrigerator if we asked. They didn't. The leak finally got so bad we were forced to move. The elevator on that end was out so it was a long haul for my mom who has RA and is 77 years old.
The staff was excellant. Room very comfortable and clean. There was not enough parking. We had to park on the street aong with other customers. Street was narrow. People were waling up and doen the street alll night. Didn't feel like our car was safe. Next nite we could got in the parking lot.
super receptionist location right in the middle of town
