Cons: don't book sundowner, bush dinner and stargazing. doesn't worth the money, especially if you are vegeterian.
Pros: Very nice rooms, excellent food with evening grill of your choice and also a big breakfast available. Convenient distance to the Etosha Gate
Pros: This place was such a highlight of our trip. When we arrived there were zebra and antelope roaming the car park! Really close to etosha so we were easily there for sunrise, such friendly staff, really wonderful accommodation and our room even came with a caffettier and fresh coffee - heaven for me!! The pool, watering hole and food were all great. My advice - give yourself one night at a place inside the park so that you can sit up and watch the animals at the floodlit watering holes but other than that stay here!
Pros: perfect location near the park
Cons: nothing it was great
Pros: Clean. Good choice of meat in buffet. Good food in general.
Cons: Extremelly bad internet connexion. Simmilar to edge. Pretend too much compared to service offered. No hot water. AC and ventilator. Extremelly noisy.
Pros: Excellent dinner Perfect location, 3km from park entrance Pleasant staff, in the open kitchen, in the bar... Nice setting of the room and bathroom
Cons: nothing...it is not in the park!
Pros: The property and staff were amazing!!!!! Everything was clean and the food was above and beyond. Would recommend this place to everyone :-)

Pros: Location is next to best.
Cons: Limited options for park rides.
Pros: Good location 10 km from the Andersson gate of the Etosha National Park; nice views from the terrace of the room. The breakfast was very good, and the buffet dinner was okay.
Cons: There was no fridge in the room. Compared to other accommodations further from the Park, the price was relatively high (but then again, you pay extra to stay that close to the park ...).
Pros: Next to National park
Cons: Small rooms single beds.
Pros: As perfect as every year. In every point
Pros: The breakfast was very good and the dinner was even better! The staff was very friendly. The lodge is very well situated and has the most beautiful views.
Pros: the view of the chalet they are very nice arranged to not see your neighbor, View from lodge is great too.
Cons: some parts are already a few years old and when we arrived at 9.30 - even though announced - it was closed and we had to jump a gate to get in - we were very worried to have to stay overnight in our car
Pros: Perfect location very near to Etosha Park. Views from the high balcony on to waterhole and surrounding savannah great. Nice apartments with great showers spread out through the valley. Breakfasts good; plenty of choice and buffet menu in evenings. Staff friendly.
Cons: I feel it was a little overpriced for Namibia, even taking into consideration the location.
Pros: The location was great and the dinner and breakfast was very good. The staff was really helpful when booking the safari.
Cons: I have just found out that I've been charged the room cost twice on my credit card.

Toshari Lodge is situated on the C38, 70 km north of Outjo and 25 km south of the Anderson Gate into Etosha National Park.
Pros: Food was amazing, very comfortable beds and 3 swimming pools. Not very far from Etosha National Park.
Cons: Staff were not very friendly.
Cons: I went to Toshari so that I could go on game drives. I wasnt aware that these were few and far between and could be cancelled at the last minute. I had to go to another lodge to be sure of going on one.
Pros: Beautiful location, friendly staff, fabulous food and great comfort. Felt truely spoilt until my camera went missing under my nose.
Cons: A staff member stole my camera from the bar area
Pros: The nicest lodge we stayed in! Very nice and clean rooms. Helpful staff and delicious food. They offer amazing game drives - would recommend. And you can spot little animals on the property. Over all a very nice lodge beautifully laid out.

Pros: Could use the beautiful pool at Etosha Safari lodge as pool of the camp was temporarily closed. Good organisation of Safari organised by the camp. Possibility to have a buffet dinner.
Cons: Some very friendly staff, but also some rather unfriendly staff.
Cons: Backpacker shack for price 4star hotel.
Pros: Lovely decor and location!
Pros: Nice & clean rooms in small houses. About 5 min drive to the entrance gate of the park. Fire and life music for dinner. You should grab the chance to have a dinner at the associated lodge (amazing view).
Cons: Too expensive dinner buffet. No possibility to see animals at night as they don’t have a water hole.
Pros: Great location if Etosha is part of your plans. Nice area around the swimming pool and the bar
Cons: Dinner was a ripoff, bring your own food if able to self catter. The campsite is a bit far from the action

Pros: The lodge is stunningly beautiful with a fabulous waterhole right in front of the main bar and dining area. Staff were exceedingly friendly and efficient, and very helpful. On arrival we saw 5 rhino at the waterhole, which set the visit off to a marvelous start. Great range of wines and spirits available at correct prices and there was a wide range of dishes on offer every evening. Lodge is about an hours drive from the main park Etosha, but the lodge grounds themselves are teeming with game.
Cons: It was all excellent. If I had to look for something the choice of cooked vegetables could have been a little more inspiring.
Pros: The 'all in one' tour was excellent and made our stay. Thank you!
Pros: We loved the place and were really impressed when we heard what they are doing there for rescued animals. The people there were really kind. The food was good and the room was just wonderful. Everything was clean. It is amazing sitting in the restaurant overlooking the waterhole with a lot of animals gathering around :-)
Cons: Nothing to complain about
Pros: Okutala Lodge is Namibia's best kept secret! Almost impossible to describe the beauty of this lodge, not only the animals around the lodge, with Oubaas, the giraffe, welcoming you, but also all the animals around the lodge creates a FANTASTIC atmosphere. The cheetah even came for a pat. Absolutely FANTASTIC staff. Thank you Cornel and the staff for making us feeling SO welcome. You have to stay here for more than one day. It will be our number 1 place to stay in the whole of Southern Africa! Many thanks once again for a fantastic stay!
Cons: The room need a fridge
Pros: The location is beautiful. The only drawback was the distance from Etosha park - the real destination.
Cons: Service, which, while good, clearly differentiated by price paid fro a room.
Pros: spacious and comfortable roomNd bathroom. Good shower despite terrible drought. The golf buggy to take us up to our rooms was great for our 91 yr old mother. Staff were thoughtful and prompt - excellent service. It was fantastic to be able to walk to the fence to see the game, particularly to be so close to rhino. We got to see a baby feeding - and hear it's little peeping sound. Marvellous experience. Did the very interesting guided walk too. Nice to see the country on foot. Guide v knowledgeable
Cons: We liked everything but did think the activities offered quite expensive compared to other places we have stayed. So glad that the game are being fed though and we know those costs need to be covered
Pros: Absolute luxury!! Very clean, comfortable and relaxing. Great food, staff and facilities. A real treat and only 30 minute drive to Etosha.
Pros: Stayed only one nite. Right on the major road. Just okay. High priced.
Cons: Beware they charge for meals when others in the area do not .
Pros: The view. The animals. The waterhole. Orbis the pet giraffe. A comfortable, fun place to stay with friendly staff, great view, beautiful animals. Nothing too fancy, and dinner buffet was not haute cuisine, but we really enjoyed our brief stay and would recommend it to anyone travelling through on holidays.

Pros: Relaxing atmosphere and tranquility. Garden scenery is beautiful
Cons: Bigger basin in the bathroom and larger night stands would be an improvement.
Pros: We stayed there during an anniversary trip & we could not have been happier with our decision to stay at Mondjila. I usually research a lot before booking a place & still go in with hesitation! But OMG the staff were fantastic, the management was amazing! They set up a private candle light dinner for us and the breakfast was fantastic! The dinner was also amazing & I cannot thank the staff enough for their AMAZING hospitality! THANK YOU! The location is also close to Etosha & ooo soo beautiful!
Pros: Very friendly, lovely food and very clean.
Pros: Nice views, location.
Cons: Familie room is below average, simple basic, no atmosphere.
Pros: What a location! Great food, friendly staff
Pros: Wonderful views from main terrace, quiet and exclusive vibe. Staff incredibly helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended and great value. We stayed in one of the family rooms with our own terrace.
Pros: The accommodation is near to the Anderson gate and perfect for visiting Etosha NP. The staff was so nice and friendly. They cooked us delicious food, organized a game drive for us and took care of our laundry. Could totally recommend this place if you want to visit Etosha NP.
Cons: One morning we had a cold shower but due to the location of this place and a lot off guests staying there at the weekend I think it is inevitable, that for some guests the hot water runs out.
Pros: The breakfasts and dinners were excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A lovely, peaceful lodge.
Pros: We have never stayed in this style of accommodation before. We booked Mondjila because of the reviews, the tent experience and the price, but unfortunately our expectations were not met. It seems we arrived at a busy time as we were quickly dealt with at check-in, told the tent 'room' we had booked had gone so we were given the stone cottage at the end and pointed in the direction of our accommodation. Nothing really was explained about the other facilities and how the whole place worked. Dinner was good, once a table had been made up for us; breakfast was okay but the bread was poor (perhaps it's difficult to get good supplies?). When we asked staff for advice on Etosha we were directed to reception, but again felt there was little interest in helping us (where was Pieter that was mentioned in so many reviews??). We are not 5 star people and didn't expect luxury, but we think it was overpriced for what was provided (maybe the tents are better). We booked 2 nights, but for us it would have been better to stay one night and then travel through the park to exit at another gate (having to return after the park closed meant an extra 130 km of driving). Alternatively don't drive too far!! The views from the restaurant are lovely (also from the stone cottage) and the serving staff were always friendly.
Located in Okaukuejo, Eagle Tented Lodge & Spa Etosha is within the region of Ongava Private Game Reserve and Etosha National Park Anderson Gate. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The view from the tent.
Cons: Cleanliness of bed sheets and mosquito-net in “ luxury tent” was very poor and sheets had to be changed on arrival. The tent did not feel luxury at all, with holes and stains in the carpet, holes in mosquito net. The metal grinding noise made from the tent structure moving in wind at night was extremely loud to the point where we could not sleep. Location of accomodation not in close proximity to Etosha park (about 45mins drive). Overall Eagle tented lodge accomodation felt neglected and well overpriced for the experience.
Pros: Our experience at Eagle Tented Lodge was fabulous from beginning to end. Service was great, the tents were unbelievably nice, the grounds were gorgeous, and the dinner was the best that we had on our entire trip. We also very much enjoyed the sundowner tour that we signed up for. We stayed here as a bit of a splurge, and we were 100% happy that we did so. You must stay here on your visit to Namibia!
Cons: The only problem we had was that we didn't stay longer... if it would be slightly closer to Etosha that would make it perfect, but the 45 min or so really isn't bad. If we had to do it all again, we'd stay another night!
Pros: The staff was great. Abraham was so so nice. Other than the staff you can have this place.
Cons: This place has luxury tents, but they are tents and the winds make it almost impossible to sleep at nite in these tents. Next, we had a paid reservation for three nites and after two nites wanted to leave. They would not give us anything, credit, other things etc. The price we paid was substantially higher than most places charge. Next, our dinners were horrible. One nite we and others ordered the beef which was so tough and chewy that you could not even cut it with their best knifes. Next, several guests moved from the tents to the chalets on the sister property They were the smart ones. Not a good place at all.
Pros: The tent comfort
Cons: The manager could be more kind
Pros: Great big room, one of the best shoewrs we had in namibia - a solid stream of hot water!
Cons: The whole tent idea is very nice and well executed, but the problem begins when its windy outside. A lot of noises that makes it difficult to fall asleep..
Pros: The staff were excellent and well organised. The food was very good and the tents were very comforable. While the position meant we had a 40 minute drive to Etosha National park, we could still see lots of game on the way. It was wonderful to have wildlife wandering around us (without the lions!) and there were just the tourists staying at the camp in the evenings so it was quiet and very enjoyable.
Cons: No negative comments!
Pros: The staff is amazing.
Cons: The road.
Pros: The staff were all very friendly and courteous. They welcomed us with a cold drink and a tour of the property, and organised a well-priced and excellent massage for us at the sister hotel’s spa nearby. The location is stunning, secluded and peaceful in a game reserve. We saw gemsbok, springbok and a giraffe whilst we were there. The tents have an outdoor bath where one can relax looking at nature. The common areas have lovely colonial furniture. Dinner was good, especially the gemsbok steak and the wine selection was good too. Breakfast was ok but not as good as the dinner. The hotel is about an hour to Etosha’s Anderson gate but it’s a nice drive and goes quite quickly.
Cons: The tents were large and tastefully decorated, with a large bathroom area. However, whilst the beds were comfortable and generally the spaces clean, they were poorly maintained - the frame creaked in the night wind and the floorboards and rugs had gaps and holes. I know this is the bush and if you want complete luxury you have to pay high prices, but for the price we paid I would have expected slightly better upkeep. It’s a shame as the place is stunning and has great potential to be even better.
Pros: We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip to Namibia and it was spectacular! Staff were welcoming and friendly, even giving us a hand with changing the spare tyre on our truck. Coffee was delicious and all meals were lovely. View from our room was incredible and we would LOVE to stay here again!
