Pros. The room was great and very clean
Cons. There was a long wait to check in. There were 2 people checking in ahead of me but the phone kept ringing and the staff person kept on answering the phone and helping that customer before serving us. I was quite annoyed. I asked a few people where to go for food and they were very unhelpful.

Cons. We arrived at 12:30am after a long drive. I had booked my reservation in advance AND CONFIRMED it on Thursday advising of a late arrival and coming with young children as they had a 6am wake up call for a dance competition. I unloaded everyone out of car and when I went to the front desk a very rude attendant confirmed that I did not have a confirmation and of course there were no rooms available (no big surprise which is why people make and confirm reservations). I gave her my name and nothing. I explained I booked it through KAYAK and she looked at me like I was speaking marcian. Just continued to tell me there was no reservation in my name. I showed her my phone with my confirmation and she shrugged her shoulders. I calmly decided to call KAYAK and I was put with a Kristine who called the hotel immediately and all of the sudden there was a reservation, but it had been cancelled but she didn't know who cancelled it... apparently someone at Comfort Suites decided to unilaterally cancel the booking. Kayak was attentive enough to look for an alternative in the area which she found and by the time we got there, everything was set and done and my family was able to go to sleep... at 2AM!!! Thanks to Kayak for taking care of a terrible situation but shame on Confort Suites for screwing this up... My take is that they gave our reservations away when we didn't check in by 3pm as they knew they were overbooked... shame on them!!! And shame on that rude front desk person. This all happened the night/early morning of January 31.
