Orvieto bed & breakfasts

Pros: Magnificent view

Pros: The room was comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious and had a stunning view. Sabrina was waiting for us out front when we arrived. She accompanied us to our room and oriented us to the room and the city. She provided us with a map with directions to all the sights and recommendations for several restaurants. Orvieto is a beautiful and laid back city. A nice respite from the crowds and hustle and bustle of Florence and Rome.

Pros: We felt like we were guest at a friend’s home, and that our friend had a great home.

Pros: Selena met me & went with us to the free parking. Then walked us back to the accommodation luckily using lifts. Only problem was stairs in the building but only 1 floor. And you have to expect that in an old building. The rooms are stunning! The view stunning. It even smelled Devine! Every thing you could want & Selena a call away. Restaurant suggestions ✔️ Didn’t leave Orvieto - just enjoyed it all.

Pros: The view from the room was definitely the highlight! The place is tucked away on a nice quiet street and a short walk to the Main Street. Our host gave us great recommendations on where to eat, all our meals there were delicious!

Pros: Serene location (at the edge of town) and view of countryside/surrounding lands is essentially THE main highlight I would say of this property. Loved the cozy-castle-room type of feel (somehow "cozy" and "castle" comes together here). Room amenities had all the essentials. Appreciated the well-working in-room heater (came in mid-December) and the yummy hard-candy left for visitors :)

Pros: This is the stuff Italian vacations are made of... beautiful town, gorgeous countryside, cosy hideaway on a quiet street with a view you'll dream about. And not to forget - a kind and generous hostess!

Pros: We really really loved this place... It has amazing views and only a couple of minutes away from Orvieto's centre. Plenty of parking space, room was good and breakfast was outstanding. The owners are really friendly and made sure that our stay was worth while. Thanks!!

Pros: This family run business has very good produce of fresh fruit for the morning breakfast and tasty tomatoes on toasted bread with fesh basil with parma ham and soft chesse , eggs made differntly on request which please our party of 8 and mainly from the land which delights our palets and the owners made it a relaxing experiance with their attitude towards their guests. The pool and facilities were also and accomadating feature which we used rooms very clean and everything functional and location close to the main town. Which made this a very good stay over 5 nights.

Pros: This is one of the most beautiful accommodation that we have ever stayed at . Francesca, her dad and family were lovely friendly hosts . The setting was a little paradise with a pool , lovely shady patio for Breakfast and an orchard of fruit which we were welcomed to enjoy . Breakfast which was included, was fresh, delicious and especially generous . Our room and bathroom were spacious, clean with an excellent air conditioner . Walking up to the old Orvieto town is quiet steep , it's very scenic and takes just 15/20 minutes . A shuttle is offered if you prefer. We would recommend this gorgeous place very highly.

Pros: Lovely semi-rural setting but close to station. Less than 5 mins by car. Shuttle service was waiting for us when we arrived. Alberto the owner’s father. Delightful man. Breakfast was great including produce (jams etc) from their small holding. Lovely gardens - relaxed / chilled spot. Charming location and lovey B&B.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent and personally prepared. Everything was high quality and the service was friendly, helpful, and multilingual. we felt we were on our own, but if we needed anything, the owners were readily available. The family feeling was great. We also like the parking on the premises and walking accessibility to the historic part of the city.

Pros: The bnb is in a fabulous location to access the medieval town of Orvieto.. a 5 min walk through the Olive trees.. everything was appealing from the attentive help of the staff , the comfort of the rooms and the breakfast spread in the mornings .. would easily stay here again if I’m the area ..

Pros: The location is excellent as it is very rural, and it has a small garden, in which it is very easy to relax. Having said that I did get several insect bites so take precautions. There is a path at the rear of the property, which acts as a shortcut to the town. It is extremely useful, and gives access to the town in approx. 15 mins, via a lift directly to street level. However, some people may find it steep, and it is a winding path, so it is wise to walk slowly, Although it is lit at night, we had to use the torch facility on our phones to provide extra light in a few places. Selita said she is going to provide extra lighting. The breakfast food is simple but delicious and really compliments the property. Ludovica and Robert are wonderful breakfast hosts, with a warm welcome and excellent service. Ludovica makes beautiful scrambled eggs, and bakes some delicious cakes and pastries. I don't normally have these at breakfast, but they were exceptional. Thankyou both for making breakfast time so enjoyable - and delicious!

Pros: Casa Selina was the perfect quiet country home only a few minutes walk to Orvieto. It was the one place we felt like we had an authentic Italian experience. Breakfast was delicious, our room was beautiful, and Selina shared a lot of great information with us and was always able to provide tips.

Pros: Breakfast was great - local choices and lots to choose from - with eggs on order. Loved the larger cups too for a big cup of tea or coffee ! Charming B&B adjacent to the original farmhouse. Great access to the main town, realistically, about 10 minutes from the backdoor to city centre, through a pathway which then connects to the road and into the lifts or escalators. We only took the lift on the last day (used escalators on other days to increase our steps !) and it was great as we got to take a walk along the scenic route of the wall, just amazing. Our hosts were great, very accommodating, helpful and not intrusive at all. Beautiful outlook from our room into the Tuscan hills and also from the main kitchen/dining room. We loved Orvieto and two nights seems just about right although with such great train connections, it would be a good base for longer periods too - so easy to get to Florence, Rome, Pisa etc. Many thanks to Ludovica and Roberto for their hospitality - very generous, warm, caring and welcoming.

Pros: Everything about this b&b was perfect. Easy to get to, beautiful setting just outside the city wall, graciously accommodated our early arrival. Grape arbor over the driveway was full of ripe, juicy

Pros: So we chose this place mainly because of easy parking at the B&B and easy walking distance to Orvieto. The host was very welcoming and offered wonderful tips about where to eat in the old city. The room, and even had a little terrace overlooking the valley. Breakfast was excellent too. They have a nice lighted path up through their olive trees in the back of the house to get to the city. Once you reach the road behind their house (through a green gate), turn left (up hill) and then enter the parking lot on your right. From there, escalators and elevators take you up into town. It is nice be able to walk back to bed after a long dinner and a bottle of wine. I think this is the best place to stay that offers out-of-the-city quietness and parking (under a grape trellis) but is within a 5 minute walk of the old town.

Pros: This is a beautiful place just down the hillside from the Old City of Orvieto. There was a nice walking path up the hill to the elevator that takes you up to the Old City - very convenient! One of our most favorite times during the day was on our walk back down to CasaSelita - there was a lovely sitting area nestled into the hillside with spectacular views - we sat there for an hour enjoying every minute of this quiet, inspirational time.

Pros: The host met us outside and showed us to the parking space, which is almost directly across from the apartment. We had plenty of heat on a chilly night. There was yogurt and milk in the refrigerator, plus instant coffee and sweet rolls for breakfast. The mattress is quite firm, but we slept very well. It was very quiet at night. Within 2 minutes you can walk to the square in front of the Duomo, then to a market and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Location! Literally under the Duomo. Close to other places if interest, as well. Good coffee and plenty of breakfast supplies. Our host even made available a parking place for us!

Pros: The house and room are very nicely decorated. All facilities are up to date and many seem new. Our room was comfortable. The breakfast had a large selection of choices of food that is both delicious and healthy. Coffee and cappuccino were perfectly made. Many pastries are freshly baked by the extremely personable and capable older member of the family. She is delightful! We regretted our Italian couldn't keep up!

Pros: Grandma was a gem, she cooked me bacon omelette every morning it was delicious! We arrived without eating an evening meal, however Grandma and son came to our rescue with charcuterie and bread, fortunately we had our own wine!!

Pros: Loved staying out of the town, so quiet. Didn't even realise there were others staying until we met them at breakfast. My husband watched the fast trains from the bridge as we left, a few kilometres away from the house.
