Pros: The staff was so kind. Design of the house compact and homy. Swimming pool and garden was nice.

Cons: No sandal in rooms.

Pros: It is close to the freeway gate. The staff was so helpful and polite. The swimming pool was fantastic for the kids.

Cons: Tiles in shower room was moldy and not properly clean. The door was dusty. I found some dirt in the toilet.

Pros: The Villa is Great for group of friends

Cons: Dimsum at Harris cafe only 3 option (2 bun, 1 chicken fingers). It will be great if give more choice of dimsum like a choice of dumplings.

Cons: Too noisy, with screaming children in the inner court of the hotel which is next to the rooms; so we heard this in our room all the time. The room was not clean, there were hairs, pieces of bread, etc on the floor. Also stains on the windows and mirrors. But they immediately came to clean this when we asked for it. Laundry was ridiculously expensive.

Cons: The pool is a bit weird: it is indoors, quite cold and does not feel inviting at all. Even our kids (who consider every puddle a pool) gave up on it. Consider this a hotel without a pool so you will not be disappointed.

Pros: Incredible stay, one of the best hotels I've stayed within Indonesia. The staff are incredible, front office staff including Raushan and Kiki went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay. This included semi late checkout to facilitate the fact I was climbing bromo. They also ensures the staff prepared my breakfast in advance so I could have it while watching sunrise on the mountain. This went over and beyond my expectations and as a result Ive just booked my next stay with their yogyakarta branch 101 tugu! Doni in security was also incredibly pleasant ad delightful throughout my stay. Other pros Breakfast is phenomenal - huge array of options Restaurant downstairs and in sky bar is fantastic Skybar view and drinks selection, not to mention the mountain views Swimming pool Small fitness centre Rooms are fantastic, beds are incredibly comfortable Strong WiFi for anyone who needs to work Cons None Thanks once again to all the staff, especially Raushan, Kiki and Doni, I hope to see you all again very soon.

Cons: lobby needs to upgrade as when full, people take photo and people sitting make it crowded, people can mot coming inside and stand inline infrint of receptionist. they have outside barbeque place with live music just in front of the lobby. its mot a lounge cause passed by incoming cars who dropoff and waiting off passenger. So its a chaos when a wedding or event reception is happening.

Pros: I had a great stay with you. One thing that I have to highlight is your staff, especially Ericha who went above and beyond to assist me when I left my belongings in my room after I checked-out. She is an asset to your property! Moreover, the location is very great and the the room itself is very well maintained. Keep up the good work.

Pros: It's a luxurious hotel on the hills of Batu City. Three pools are provided: the one for regular swimming, another one for kids (and adults) with warm water, and the other one for a jacuzzi experience. The breakfast was amazing (however, the seating area was a bit narrow). The view was great. The room was spacious, with bathroom and closet behind the sleeping area (though, the door of the bathroom is not lockable as it's made of glass). The balcony was great.

Pros: Hotel Tugu is a lovely facility located in the old part of town. We loved walking around the many areas of the hotel exploring the owners antique collections. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were so welcoming and helpful. We were treated like family! Both restaurants had great food and the included breakfast was fantastic. The spa facility was lovely. Afternoon tea was very tasty and a great chance to try Indonesian treats. We did a bike tour through the hotel that we really enjoyed. They also arranged a full day tour to Batu and the countryside that was good. We used their driver to pick us up at the airport in Surabaya and that worked well.

Cons: Unfortunately the pool was under renovation during our stay but we were offered a complimentary three course dinner or spa treatment as compensation. Our room had a pretty strong mothball odour that we think was coming from the drain. We were offered a different room but we liked the shower vs. A bathtub /shower combo in the other room so chose to stay.

Pros: Friendly staff Good location, close to the train station and rainbow village. Nice pool in nice surroundings, lots of greenery. Good breakfast with good coffee, fresh juice, local specialties and western food.

Cons: The price is quite high, especially for Indonesia. Room size is on the small side.

Pros: Staff were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. The word “unique” was made for this hotel/museum. The guided tour of the hotel on our final night was amazing. Complementary traditional Indonesian afternoon tea every day was a real treat and delicious. Great value for money and free dinner on first night to recompense for the renovation of the swimming pool was much appreciated. Rooms were complete with a bath and were decorated with antiques. A must visit if in Malang.

Cons: Nothing really, just the temporary closure of the courtyard swimming pool was a disappointment.However, for the swimmers amongst you there is a fantastic 50m swimming pool/running track a few minutes from the hotel.

Pros: The atmosphere, the ambiance and the design is unique! What a place!!! It is like a private museum-hotel. It’s designed and decorated very well. If you are able to: visit Tugu Malang. Breakfast is excellent. We have never had better (and we all travelled quiet often). Location is good to explore Malang. And we had dinner twice at the Thai restaurant, which we also can recommandatie! Oh and don’t forget the afternoon tea with Indonesian pastries. Yummie, This! Tastes also good. Many thanks to John (front desk) and all his Tugu colleges for their warm welcome and excellent service. We’ll visit this place again.

Cons: The pool was closed for renovation, so that was a pitty. Because of the inconvenience the hotel offered us a free dinner in one of the restaurants.

Pros: Tugu Malang is an amazing place. It is rich in history, and doubles as a museum. Complimentary afternoon tea and a rich breakfast are included. The staff is super friendly and helpful and always ready to answer questions. Highly recommended!

Pros: It is my first time to come and visit Malang city, I and my Bestfriend decided to stay and pamper ourselves by choosing to stay with the Ijen Resort Hotel. Since the beginning, we enter the lobby we feel like home already. Almost all the staff welcoming us to the hotel with a great smile on their face. We got delicious yet warm tea at that time. As requested, they give us a high-level floor which made my day. The room is so clean and spacious and the best part is I can see the hills right after our room window

Cons: The Romantic Room’s location was too close to the main road, since its concept was open bathroom and bedroom, the traffic’ sound were loud and disturbing. There’s also no AC or Fan to regulate the room temperature, on the night, it’s okay since the air is cold but when in the afternoon, it’s quite hot. The bed and the bathtub also need maintenance.

But ice from the tap is not recommandable. So we asked for a bucket with water and ice. When the ordered meal came all the bottles were left on the table Servants running around and not clearing the table. We were the only guests. Alternative restaurants not available. Breakfast next morning was packed , where did all these people come from?? was ok

Pros: Staying in Batu depends very much on the purpose of your stay as Batu is one big entertaiment centre like Disneyland and Universal Studio put together. Aston would be the best hotel if the preference is to see the popular Angkut Museum or Transport Museum, which is probably the best of its kind. Museum Angkut is less than 500 metres from Aston Hotel, thus may walk downhill. The Dining at Level 7 provided one of the most stunning views of Batu City day or night with the mountainous background. The Team is very responsive and would try their best to accomodate any reeuest. At the time of our stay they were running promotion for laundry which was really affordable. All in all Aston Batu is a good Hotel, even if the destination is other than Angkut Museum such as JATIM 1 Park etc. surely we will return to Aston

Cons: Everything is satisfactory and OK with us. No complaint.

Cons: Check in time was not punctual. We were waiting more than 30 minutes to get the room ready. I booked the suite room but the build quality is less than the expectation ( bad sound proof, the sofa was far from comfort, handle fittings in bathroom were lose), the food taste is required to be improved, the swimming pool base is required to be repaired as the floor was peeled off (my nephew's feet got injured)

Pros: Very good location. There's a mini mart at ground level next to the lobby hotel. You can buy simple daily stuffs there. The road to access to the hotel main entrance could be confusing a bit, since the road has 3 split path for both cars and motorbikes.

Cons: There's no tissue paper in the room. When I asked to staff, he told me if that facility is available for rooms at level 7 only. It's kinda ridiculous. Tiny passengers lift could be an issue for claustrophobia people.

No mentioned that most room was smoking room. 1sr Checked in, the female customer service gave us double bed in smoking room n twin bed in non smoking for my driver. We insisted to get non smoking room with double bed but got declined. We left n back 2 houra later then the male receptionist finally gave us the right room. It didn't make sense that they couldn't give us the double room in non smoking room first time n I'm sure not fully booked..
