I liked specially the great service your employees are giving. The pool was great, breafast excellent The attention at the pool was also good. Your hotel at the beach would have been perfect.
Accommodatng reception staff, excellent breakfast
The hotel it self is fine, with very nice but small garden. The bed was not good. The location of the hotel did not suit us.
Well designed hotel friendly efficient staff Nothing
Friendly and helpful staff; excellent restaurant and good quality of food and reasonably priced. It would have been nice to have had some tea making facilities in my room, ie a kettle etc.
The ample space in the junior suite, cleanliness, friendliness of all staff
The staff was very helpful and professional and the location was okay (about 20 mins walk to old town/cathedral). The beds were uncomfortable but bearable.
The view from the window The charge to use the spa 10 euros as most hotel swimming pool/spa areas are free of charge, unless you book a treatment which obviously has to be paid for as an extra charge. The room we were allocated was very small - one night was enough!!! for more than one night we would have needed to book a larger room.
quiet, comfortable, a good base. Easy to get email. Excellent facilities now that the pool and new restaurant area are complete
Facilities were excellent. We were allowed to use our free breakfast vouchers even though we hadn't fullfilled their conditions.Reception were English speaking and very helphul booking taxis restaurants etc.I was escorting a group of 12 people on a restaurant, city break (from Ireland) and they were all very impressed with this hotel. The gym was free but we had to pay for use of spa steam room etc Quite a walk into town centre so paid out quite a bit on taxis. Some guests were disapointed that there were no bar facilities available after midnight.
Location, Facilities The Air conditioning didn't work. Staff a bit miserable
centraly located 1. The breakfast room was too small for all the quests. 2. More coffee machines needed, or coffee jugs on each table as you arrive.
Pleasant spacious room.Roof top terrace for sunbathing.Very good central location.Building had character but was well modernised.Clean comfortable hotel with good staff. No, it suited our needs very well.
Milchael the hotel manager very accomodating. Great location to everything. The beds could be more comfortable.
Very clean rooms and good breakfast
Excellent city centre hotel for the price, located on one of Palma's main shopping streets. This is not really a holiday hotel, but is perfect for business or short city breaks. The whole hotel was impeccably clean, the breakfasts more than adequate (cooked and continental buffet) and the rooms comfortable for a short stay. There were a couple of little niggles. The room safes are small and cost extra and the shower head/fitting construction means that there is a minor flood every time you shower.
Central location, close to restaurants and bars. Good breakfast.
Friendly Staff. Clean, nice room. Perfect location. Good breakfast buffet. That thew allow people to smoke during breakfast.
location air conditioning unit was full of mold = unpleasant smell
Good Room. Great location. Helpful Staff. Not a lot of lobby. No coffee in room
Prime location. Easy access to all that Palma as to offer. Ideal for city weekend break. Rooms at the front of the hotel can suffer from street noise.
Beach acess, facilities, good breakfast, nice room The shower was not workimg propely
The location, very near the coast and shopping facilities, was excellent. The staff was very helpfull and polite. We also enjoyed the gym and the indoor swimming pool. We stayed not in a room but in one of the hotel's apartment. The noise isolation of these apartments was not very good. Although the street was very quiet our neighbors, who were also hotel's clients, were not. We could clearly hear them.
We stayed with our little daughter (18 monthes) and the staff was really friendly with her and with us. The hotel has a private beach which is absolutely stunning. The rooms on the street side are exposed to a noisy bar, acoustic is weak in the hotel.
Friendly service oriented staff. The spa is excellent and offers a very nice relaxing atmosphere. Especially in the low season when the outside weather is more unstable.
Every thing No
Cleanliness of all areas of the hotel public as well as private I had no complaints at all with the hotel
Facilities good and good standard of cleanliness . Soft bed mattresses
Quiet area, good breakfast, lovely staff, oog rooms, children welcome and excellent spa area pool area a bit small for number of guests and not nearly enough sun umbrellas!!!!!
The downstairs lobby and all exterior areas of hotel were immaculate and very attractive The view - on to service area of hotel
spa facilities Noise of the elevator and the English guests
We had a few problems but the staff were very efficient at resolving them.
The pool was a good size with ample sun beds with sun terrace. The entertainer worked very hard and my son had a fantastic time joining in with the activities. Oh and i played football as well. The staff all around the hotel were friendly and helpful, except one older barman who was anti English from his comments. A good holiday, it was a shame we didnt stay for a fortnight.
Lots of kids, this is magaluf, don't bring ur kids. Got lots of complains from the hotel employes about too loud music and kids trying to sleep. This is a hotel i the middle of magaluf but still we were told to keep our voices down and not to play loud music after 12 pm. Otherwise great hotel, great location.
The location is great, and the pool area and sundeck are good, you can get a sunbed anytime of day which is rare
We liked the pool, the meals and the children's club.
Clean honest appartments. Friendly reception, and close to beach and eating establishments. Good pool area, plus indoor pool. Not enough evening etertainment.
nice comfortable room, good view
What we liked about the hotel was the location close to the beach What we did not like was the loud childrens and adult entertainment which lasted from 08.00 PM until midnight every night. We had our balconies facing towards the pool area, and it was impossible to escape the sound. It was loud even with our balcony door closed! Our one year old son was unable to sleep due to this entertainment. Hotel Staff did nothing about it even though we complained two nights in a row. We ended up asking for our money back and changed our hotel to the Ponent Mar Hotel which was brilliant!
The evening entertainment particularly Alexandro the entertainer he was very friendly and inclusive despite the fact we were the only english speaking family for most of the week. The location is perfect near the beach and shops and restaurants Some of the staff were excellent but others seemed to be very uninformed but we put this down to being early in the season.
Excellent entertainment, quiet at night even though near the seafront, relaxing, handy for the beach/restaurants.
I liked the hotel surroundings, pool, location. I thought that their staff were very offhand, were not paticuarly bothered about us, spoke over us to each other loudly, did not ask us if we enjoyed our stay at the end, I would not be going back to the hotel on the basis of their staff.
plastic liners on the bed make you sweat, they sucked.
The services the hotel provided such as the well stocked bar, the large pool area and the friendly staff all made for a very relaxing holiday.
We upgraded to the superior sea view apartment and were not disappointed. Having seen the more basic rooms, I am glad we did. It was worth the extra money. Fantastic views, excellent apartment and great location. . Would have been nice to have an oven in the kitchen so we didn't always have to eat out. Also, the beds/couches in the living room are very hard and uncomfortable. I would have preferred a pull out sprung sofa bed.
The view was wonderful. Our hotel was close to several restaurants and shopping mall. The Cathederal was a 5 minute drive. There was an oversight on the daily housekeeping staff. I notified the manager and housekeeping was at the door within 10 minutes on Christmas day.
The hotel was just great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We wanted to rent a car, they arranged it. We wanted to find something, they knew exactly where we needed to go. Great staff. Christmas Eve dinner was also most excellent. Would highly recommend the hotel Would have liked to be a little closer to the action. But, this is not really a minus. Where we were was quiet and peaceful
The view of the marina and Palma city from our balcony was stunning. There was also an excellent choice for breakfast. Slightly to far from the city although there was a regular bus(No 3) available at a cost of 1.25 euro's per person.
The views from the hotel are magnificent. We had breakfast in the hotel twice and dinner 1 night which was very nice indeed, plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we thouroughly enjoyed our stay.
Good views, clean rooms, close to modern shopping centre and easy access to main street via lift. Having nothing done about the reported fault with the tv therefore preventing us from watching any of the films at night. As I have arthritis I need to rest after an active day.
We had a small room, with no view, too much of a hassel to complain, for 1 night. Hotel a bit old, and needs work, big problem is parking, I had to walk for 15 minuts after finaly finding a spot, and this is febuary.
Good for winter visit, was close to shopping area but not close to beach although easily accessible by bus. Indoor pool smelled like urine
What a wonderful hotel. We paid a little extra for the sea view and boy was it worth it. The staff was friendly and English speaking. The room was also quite large and very clean. We had a wonderful stay here. If you close the balcony door from the outside, it locks and you cannot get back into the room. We were trapped on our balcony for quite a while before we could get someone's attention. Makes for a good story, though.
I found the staff very plesent and were very helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent value. I found it a little far from the city, however the frequent bus service made up for that.
Friendly staff , very clean rooms & public areas. Amazing views over Marina and to cathedral in distance. Rooms comfortable . I would highly recommend this hotel, I will be back for future visits.
Location perfect, food good. Staff excellent. The news that we cant stay at the Cala Blanca again next year as we holiday with our grandchildren and from next year children under 15 wont be allowed . This is very disappointing and we hope the management with reconsider their decision.
The hotel is right on the beach, great views if you pay extra for the sea view. It's close to all the shopping and nightlife. Staff was very accomadating. Our room smelt like a smoker's lounge as stated in many reviews. We toughed it out the first night and asked about changing the next day. The manager asked us to check back the next day. I was tired of smelling all the smoke so I asked to change rooms and managed a seaside view for our final two nights.
the staff very friendly excellent we had a sea view room excellent only thing it smelt very smokey. people smoke in the rooms we asked for a non smoking room but unfortunately was told all rooms we smoking rooms. next time will take air freshners as the room smelt of fags all the time we stayed there.
The comfortof the rooms The reception area albeit clean did smell of old drains
Location right on . foodbeach, food also excellent. Rooms were advertised on booking site as soundproof but this was not the case. It was not too busy during our stay but would imagine it might be quiet noisy in high season. We were located on the 2nd floor in the front or the hotel. No problem hearing conversations of guests in adjoining room
Position, Staff friendliness. Furniture old. Rooms need redecoration
Staff very friendly especially restaurant and bar staff. Food excellent, lots of choice for evening meal, catered for all tastes. Excellent location directly in front of the beach. In need of a little refurbishment, reception area looks a little tired and lacking lustre. Pool very small with not many beds, in shade by 3p.M. every day. Entertainment lacked the wow factor, the karaoke singers in the bar over the road were better!
Location and friendliness of staff Price of food and drink in hotel was extortionate
The beach. Nothing from the hotel strikes me as phenomenal. Everything was average or below! English oriented
Location to the Beach.
I really like the location of the hotel. This is a good hotel for families. The hotel closed on October 31 but that doesn't change anything. It was quiet and that was good for us but the service was always good. It's a place to go again! The food could be better in terms of options but that is just a minor thing. It is a 3 star hotel so you really can't expect more.
The location was excellent, nightlife, restaurants, beach all on the doorstep. One of the waiting staff in the restaurant was quite rude and unfriendly.
Very convenient to beach, shops, restaurants, also the fact that you could up-grade to a superior room which we did. The noise from nightly entertainment, our room was just above and it was difficult to sleep, and after it finished they spent about an hour moving tables and chairs around, again very noisy.
I like it that the pool overlooks the sea and beach and it has a beach bar (although would be better if this stayed open later than 8pm for famalies that wish to sit out around pool even after it has closed) Our room had a bad damp smell.
The hotel is located on a very good place. I think the level of the food can be improved.
The hotel was perfect in every way for us, location, value for money & the wonderful panoramic view from the balcony. We would have liked to have a premium double room but we did not have that have that option on your site at the time of booking. We will definitely go back very soon
Upgraded room No
everything was OK, I had many pieces of info about my holiday before I went there from your site. I like it very much; it was exactly what I expected. I loved the location of the hotel. I will recommend it to others. Really good value for money.
The location, reception staff, breakfast (we were offered a special rate), and room Eventhough the area was quiet when we stayed, I would imagine the seafront gets very noisy during high season. Better soundproof windows would be a good investment for the hotel.
the helpfulness, effieciency and friendliness of the staaff at the desk and bar.
Very good quality four star hotel.Very modern and well equipped.Included excellent breakfast. Service at breakfast a little shaky....shortage of teaspoons! Otherwise excellent.
The breakfast buffet hade a wide variety of food - very good.
Great hotel in a great location overlooking the Palma marina. Easy access to town centre either walking or bus from outside hotel. Excellent breakfast although cost was half that advertised in bookings.com. Beds a little too hard. Nevertheless, staying at this hotel would have been spoilt if not given a sea view room.
The location of the hotel is excellent, the facilities are very good, the rooms and public areas clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. I loved just about everything about this hotel. My bed was hard and there was an odd smell in the room but I think might have been due to the heat.
Breathtaking view of Palma golf. Very nice stuff. Free Wi-Fi (but not everyware). Very very comfortable. Probably the best location in Palma. Nothing.
Location and breakfast
Literally everything. Staff, service, communication, room and I can't even describe it. We loved every aspect. We had to pick a last minute hotel and this was the best decision and choice. Love, love, love.
Beautiful location and view, close to the harbour, sun terrace, swimmingpool, balcony, close to city attractions, restaurants and shopping: Perfect for combination of city and sun holiday The restaurant. Expensive breakfast, poor dinner. Surroundings too big, few people, too much light, not intimate or romantic, no servings on the terrace for dinner, boring menue, almost nobody in the bar at night. Front desk slow, too many phone calls at the same time as check in/check out and questions from customers. Also poor marketing of what to do in Palma, you had to know in advance and ask. No maps or sightseeing available visually in the reception
Hotel is in very good location, just few metres away from beach and all shops, bars and restaurants. All 3 swimming pools are very nice, food was good, rooms clean with air condit. Will defin stay again at Viva Palmanova when will go back to Mallorca.
entertainment for the kids complext itself very nice our apt no 3004 was damp and smelt that way, i'm sure other rooms are fine but ours was located where it didn't get any sun, facilities within the apt were excellent
Great family hotel. We stayed self catering which was excellent as the hotel have a shop which sells freshly made croissants and rolls daily which was great for breakfast and lunch. The hotel is so close to all the restaurants for your evening meal. The hotel has entertainment at night and also kids entertainment so it was great for after dinner. Great family hotel for an out of season holiday as you are near the beach, restaurants, hire bikes and good transportation as you can get a bus into Palma. As we went in October, the outdoor pool and childrens pool was not heated but you can use the indoor pool which is heated a bit. The hotel does not provide wifi in your room, it is free at reception but due to the wind in Majorca the wifi sometimes does not connect.
Excellent hotel for children, plenty to keep them occupied, pool & playground. Entertainment for children was excellent. Staff were very helpful, rooms were very clean and functional. All requests were met. Cleaning staff arrive about 7.30am and if you are staying on the ground floor near the staff entrance, it can be noisy until 8am, trolleys banging, chatting etc.
Central location, beautiful pool area
breakfast very good. kids facilities very good eg. kids pool, soccer pitch. playground. night entertainment. bedroom very small, we had to squeeze the babys cot in. had to put our 3 year old on couch bed which was very narrow. he fell out of therefore had to sleep in our bed for the week.very disappointed with that.
we stayed at the hotel from the 13-16 March. It is a brilliant hotel - ideal location and the staff were great.
Great Place for families with kids, the kids club is a great for kids under 11 and the parents could do the relaxing none
Excellent staff. Hotel well laid out. Cater for all languages. Entertainment at night time very enjoyable.
The BBQ, relaxing atmosphere at the pool (no rush for sun loungers), the excellent staff and facilities, the cleanliness of the accommodation I liked everything about it and will be back next year
Shopping was close and in the area.. Nice breakfast dining area was nice and staff were excellent very friendly and helpful including the desk staff always nice to call you a taxi or answer a question and assist you anyway possible .. I was very pleased with the service that your staff and hotel showed me.
large room with balcony quite expensive, normal doubleroom is very thight, the view is not nice
Excellent service, the staff were very friendly and it is a great city location. I was so impressed I am contacting them provately to thank them. nada!
Location, location, location....
Great location for seeing madrid. room was very spacious as we needed room for 3 people Walls a little thin
Real good 4 stars for affordable price The only problem is that you can hear people walking through corridor, they should have put carpets on a floor.
The location and the facilitis within the hotel in particular the seventh floor bar and the rooftop pool. It's a very small point but it felt a little like the staff needed a wee bit of a nudge to make sure they were keeping their eye on the ball a bit more - things like unemptied ashtrays and dirty glasses not tidied up.
Located in the center of Palma, roof top bar and pool very nice, stylish and relaxing Lobby and rooms are still in 70s style. It seems that owners started to rebuild the hotel on the top and ran out of money before they reached the floor.
how the hotel is situated thin walls, noise from other rooms
Nice, clean hotel with impressive modern decor. Comfortable beds with a good quality linen. Nice bathroom. Good location. Price I payed on booking.com was 30E higher than charged by the hotel to "off the street" customers. No parking offered.
location, modern spacious rooms
Cleaniness of the rooms Bar was very expensive
An interesting hotel to stay in, with lots of art displayed including in the rooms. The breakfast and location was excellent. The spa was a nice addition after a long day. The price is fair The air conditioning started leaking and although we informed reception, nothing was done about it before we had checked out. The staff loose marks because of this as do the marks for cleanliness (which were otherwise good).
lady in the room next to use, were very noisy!!!
excellent breakfast sometimes the people at the reception could be smilier
The location was excellent and the hotel very modern and comfortable. The champagne breakfasts were excellent! The bar shut at 11 p.m. which was a shame.
great location for city break only one small lift
clean, good sized room . central Palma location . good choice of coffee and mineral water in the bar Noisy if street facing , very poor gym . Limited restaurant choice with patchy service
Good facilities, good location and helpful staff. Loved the modern and conceptional style/layout. The view from the room window (a rear courtyard facing room) was very limited which made the room feel dark. These 'courtyard' facing rooms would benefit from some additional lighting.
Location was excellent. Lovely view of Palma bay. Overall - a good experience. While the room was clean it was a little outdated - heavy 80's style furniture/decor was not in keeping with my personal taste, however, the bathroom was more up to date.
Excellent facilities, good location, polite and helpful staff, superb breakfast menu External noise throughout the night - take earplugs!
Excellent hotel with very good staff and great location on the marina with easy access by foot to the centre or by public transport to the beach. Decent night-life located closeby too...good breakfast.. Rang the hotel on the night before arrival to confirm on early check-in and told it would be no problem. Arrived at 10am and room was not ready then told to come back by 12/12.30pm but still the room was not ready - eventually checked in at 13.30pm - did get a room with a marina view but was not a good start.
There is noise from the street as the hotel is in the night club area of Palma.
Everything was superb! Highly recommend!
The hotel has a wonderful view, the room was very clean and really comfortable. The breakfast amazing
Location Bar and disco noise all night
Breakfast buffet Poor air conditioning in room
Good location and value for money
The staff was very helpful and the overall sixties/seventies style of the hotel aggreed with me. During our stay the outdoor pool was closed although the weather was excellent.
We found the views beautiful, the staff gracious, and the atmosphere most welcoming overall. The meals (we had the package with breakfast and dinner) were quite adequate, with a great variety. We would not call the food gourmet though. The air conditioning was barely adequate It needed a stronger fan to carry the cool air into the room.
Staff were very friendly to us especially to our 1 year old. Great place to stay just to relax and unwind. The hotel is very clean is nicely decorated and is in a great location overlooking the sea. Really nice pool area with plenty of room at the pool. The bedrooms air conditioning was in great working order leaving our room refreshed at all times. We asked to change our dinner to lunch as we had booked halfboard, however this wasn't possible. (baby is now on the move and can be a little loud at times we didnt want to disturb other diners at dinner)
IT was wonerful, would stay again -they could not do enough for you!
7th floor resturant is very good and stuff doing will.reciption stuff is very co operated ,but the night duty is not do his job wright.not woke up us morning.in general hote is v good and would be coming againe. reciption duty night shift only
Fantastic situation, superb beaches and places to explore, very convenient for Palma. Great Views. No Tea and Coffee making facilities in room
The staff at the reception especially Diana is excellent, very cooperative & infact she went out of her way to give us a room to our liking. The sea view is breathtaking. The carpets in he room are rugged ,old & stained. It's time they refurbish the rooms.
The food variety is excellent. We always eat a lot of vegetables and salada and the dinner and breakfast buffet has a lot of choices. The pool is very clean and the sea view was beautiful. Although the local bus stop is just in front of the hotel, it takes about 30 min to get to the city center by bus.
We had let the hotel know we were on our honeymoon prior to arriving, so when we got there they upgraded us to a Presidential Suite - it was amazing! The views are spectacular and the option of swimming in the pools or sea is great. Definitely check out AquaZumba at 11am. T The food in the buffet isn't that great. Also be aware that there is a music concert every night at the pool from about 9-11pm. It's very loud so you can't get over your jet lag until after the performance. Lots of kids in the big pool, so take advantage of the adults only pool.
Staff was friendly, atmosphere relaxed. Buffet dinners varied and interesting. Fun for a short family seaside break. Decor and design rather faded. Pool area was crowded and nosiy. Air conditioning in rooms not strong enough.
Variety and quality of the breakfast was excellent
The charming and always helpful staff and the convenient location for our purpose (local property purchase). As the hotel was not full to be given a room with a view of two unsightly flat roofs was disappointing.
Nixe Palace was perfect for our weekend away and we cannot wait to stay there again. We arrived to cava and fresh fruit in our room and that level of service continued throughout the stay. From yummy food in the bistro to the delightful spa to the spectacular views of the sea, this hotel is absolutely fantastic. For those who prefer to stay near to the city, this is a bit further out, but taxis frequently drive past the hotel and we never waited more than ten minutes for one. There is also, as others have mentioned, a bus stop near the hotel, but as the cabs were so cheap, we never used this.
Good spa facilities, nice beach, easy to get to the center of Palma and Porto Pi shopping center. Smelly room not really up to 5* hotel, very noisy if you book the room with the city view - which is actually overlooking the main street & back entry for the laundry services. Smell of savage for 4 days & we were not able to get rid off it!!!. Poor newspapers selection - no English titles. Cleaning ladies very noisy in the morning, chatting next to our room. Very souless hotel with generally poor service, without a single smile. Will not recommend to friends.
Bed was extremely comfortable and the sea view uninteruppted. The concierege were most helpful. Car parking was definitely a must There was a wedding or wedding fair on on the Friday evening and as we were right a bove the function room it was terribly noisy. Foirtunately all finished at midnight.
Room was ready at 11.00H instead 15.00h.Clean. Quiet. I had a room a little bit at the end, no view!
Sea view, balcony Lack of the hotel territory, poor vegetation around
We popped over to the Nixe for 3 nights and it was a wondful break. The hotel is right of the beach and we had a huge balcony so we could simply sit and watch the sea. We ate in several times for lunch ( as the view was so lovely) and in the evening. Excellent food and service. Hotel does front onto a main road and although many shops were closed as this is low season, I suspect it might get fairly busy in summer. However, the NIxe is an oasis , with a great spa and we would definateyl stay there again..Bus cost 1euro to get into Palma 25 mins away. Road at front of hotel could be busy in Summer. Cannot walk very far along sea front as beach fairly short.
old and not a 5 start level
views and location to Porta Portals
Very friendly staff, good food, perfect gaspacho, nice beach, conviniet location very strange choice of Russian TV channel (RBC - the only one); looks like nothing to do there with children - no one playground, even on the beach
Position of hotel and location The front desk staff could hve been a bit more knowledgeable about tours.
All receptionists were very helpful maria, Migel and manuel Everything ok exept hairdryer did not work , ac is not strong enough,Food was great!
Nice and convenient location, cold dinner on first day even when arrived very late Service/credibility sometimes depends on who you meet - one guy at receptionists says it is possible to pay for car rent by card, then the lady from rental only cash is accepted...
Near the beach, but too many German people - I asume more than in Germany Noise in the night, when Germans came home to the hotel
The great dinner buffet, proximity to the beach and our beachfront balcony. The noise outside all night on sunday night.
just: good hotel at the right place (we had the room with sea view !); very good system of maintaining and cleaning the surrounding and beach not wireless signal in the room; may be some sun-beds at the terrace (there are only chears)
Hotel staff are very kind room
The location was excellent. Ease of access to city bus and the beach. Excellent variety of food at the buffet. The dining room was very noisy with the clatter of dishes being cleared and hit on the side of the garbage bin, silverware dumped from one bin into another...the dining experience was a chaotic experience, not only because of the employees but also because of the patrons rushing to secure tables and returning for more food through out the dining experience. I would not sign up for the buffet again.
the food and the location the staff in the reception, they didn't speak english and had no knowlegde of what to se in area or the buslines
amazing location on the playa staff was rude an unhelpfull
good location. close to the beach, close to Palma. good bus connection to the citey. I've experiece the front desk staff not to be very friendly.
