Was clean in a sense that they cleaned the room regularly. Had good reception area that catered to requests for trips, transportation and etc.
The photos were deceiving. The place was old and dilapidated...Too many stray dogs around the hotel area and they were lounging around common areas and even inside the lobby hallway.
We stayed on the 2nd floor Ocean view room. The view was perfect and the pearl restaurant was fantastic. Food was excellent with a large variety to choose from. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
The beach wasn't the best. There is lots of seaweed that would wash up at low tide, but it's not really the resorts fault. It is more of a natural occurrence which is out of their power.
The room had a large sliding door facing the ocean, pool, and the restaurant. The staff was quite friendly and responsive. There is plenty of space for beach chilling. The area is not very crowded.
The food at the restaurant was very salty, as is a lot of food in the Philippines. You need to rent a motorbike or get a ride on a trike or taxi in order to get to Alona Beach which will add to your expenses.
Nice food and service.
Nothing to mention.
Staff, restaurant, pool
They will have huge building next to it soon but for now very boutique type of resort. The beach could be more clean but with the seaweed not much to do...
