Very peaceful location in mountains. Large well equipped bedroom.
The Aristi Mountain Resort hotel is a new hotel (only 4 years old), the roomsa are very spacious each with a veranda, beautiful surroundings, the hotel restaurant serves great food, but above all the staff were very helpful and always willing to help
Staff were all very helpful. Food very good. Mountain scenery amazing.
We were very dissapionted with the hotel, as would never classify it as small "Luxury" hotel, but as a guest house. Apart of few design items, hotel was eqipped, you do not find anything else. No reception. No telephone line in the room. No car access, you need to park about 200-300 away and climb up to the rooms. The most terrible fing, that thouse 2 nights we staied at the hotel whey didn't have a water!!! We arrived after all day driving and could'n take a shower. In the deep everning water was on... Next morning again off... no morning toitet... We did 8 hours trekking trip in Vikos corge, came back late and againg after all couldn't take shower!!!! No water again. It was horrible. Hotel management is not able to oprete it as hotel.
The setting is fantastic - you feel you're on top of the world! The rooms are comfortable (not luxury) and we really liked the "eco/wood" style. Home made cakes for breakfast. You have to leave your car by the church and walk up the steep cobbled village streets to get to the hotel - but they will then come and collect your bags. The word "luxury" is a little misleading (but it is perfectly comfortable for those used to luxury hotels!). The shower-room was small with no window - but well-equipped and fine for a couple of nights. The owners hardly speak English - but they did a great job to make us feel at home.
The owners were so friendly I immediatelly felt like home, the rooms are spacious and very well equiped (big flat tv, dvd, coffee maker etc) and they uniquely combine traditional and modern style, as for the bed, I could spend 2 hours talking about how well I slept and how comfortable the matress was! the breakfast, even though there werent many choices (it's an 8 or 9 room hotel afterall) was tasty (especially the home made jams). Everything else was great too (the view, the bath products) every single detail noticed! there's a drawback to having wooden floors and ceilings: when people from upstairs walk you can hear them. Also there wasn't a phone in my room (which could also be added as a "plus")
The food was amazing at the restaurant, rooms were designed really well nothing at all.
This is an excellent small hotel. Thimios and his staff are extremely obliging. This is not a luxury establishment, but if you are looking for very good value accommodation in a delightful area, then we would recommend this hotel very strongly. The hotel is not in the village centre, but this is not a problem, because the hotel restaurant can provide good value meals.
It's close proximity to the Aoos gorge and the the help we received about the walks in the region The outside pool area gardens etc were negleted and very untidy. I understand it was the low season but from the outside the hotel was not very inviting. I would recommend it to fellow walkers but not other friends
Very friendly owner. Nice, large room, well furnished, with terrace. Very nice garden /terrace at the side of the river. the bathroom was a little too small
The place is great for families with young children. It has a tot pool and a playground. The hotel manager Thimios is very helpful and welcoming.
Ideal place to stay so close to the river. The owner is very polite ,friendly and helps out with detailed -and right- information about the area.Rooms are minimally decorated with a great style.Restaurant is recently renewed and food is special and tasty. they did not have wi-fi signal near the river but the owner said they will fix that soon
Charming hotel in chalet style inside. Swiming pool, jacuzzi in the room. Located near Aoss river gorge with fantastic picturesque views and the old Konitsa bridge (30 m) . It's cool in the very hit because of mountaine river. Smell of kitchen wih open windows in our room, but at good air conditioner and windows closed - no disturbing and any problem with it. As a suprise - cousine of very high level - chiken fillet cream - the best I have ever tested.
Location Too much noise around the hotel and the whole village
Room was spacious and with a good bed. The information the woman at the hotel provided us about what to do in the area. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Pictures in the page of booking don't correspond with the reality of the hotel: it's an old building with a poor make-up. Bathroom is tiny with a dim light. Wardrobe was full of blankets but there wasn't coat hangers or drawers. We were living at 9:00 and nobody was in the reception, we had to wait until somebody arrived. Swimming pool is not of exclusive use of the clients of the hotel. The outside bar can be very noisy if the day is holiday. I think that clients are not relevant to them.
Welcoming staff very helpful to find and book our rafting expérience Beautiful location in thé mountains near a a mountain stream with cascade Beautiful interior design and Nice family atmosphere
the athmosphere, the pool
An excellent establishment with the owner most attentive and helpful at all times. The location is strategic for many sites of outstanding scenic beauty. Location next to light industrial operations is less than ideal.
This was far better than we had expected, really impressed with the standard of the room and the presentation - plus little extras like slippers/local food products as gift.
great location, very clean and comfortable, friendly staff...everything perfect.
Friendly environment, excellent location, friendly staff, clean, comfort, everything perfect!
the place and atmosphere
exellent location to travell in Zagory and Vikos Nat Park no breakfast
The owner is very kind, and suggested information about the area; The room is very nice
Well furnished, pleasant apartment, nice gardens, one of few places in Konitsa with wi-fi included (which worked very well). The situation is close for river and bridge with water sports but steep walk to town centre if do not have car. The apartments are situated beside several agricultural engineering business. It was quiet but some poeple might not like the view.
the stuff were very kind and helpfull. the room was very clean and...roomy. the shower, and the feeling that it was an old hotel, maybe a renovation is in order
Each member of the family who run this hotel was charming, engaging, intelligent and very anxious to answer our miriad of questions regarding hiking trails, the fauna and flora. Several members of the staff speak a number of languages. We communicated in French, Greek and English. My only negative comment would be that the cuisine was not as good as I thought it would be. We had ordered deer and wild boar and both were tough.
