I'll tell you this: this hostel is better than it may appear at first (and I say this after having stayed at more than five hostels in Paris). It's comfortably close to metro line 2. It has a fairly spacious and well-equipped kitchen. WiFi is excellent. You may find the small street (rue d'Orsel) a bit dodgy, but that's just Montmartre; it's fine. Every room has good lighting and heating. There is an outdoors patio area. There is free luggage storage.
Toilets outside the dorm rooms were a bit awkward (small and without hand basin). Not every bed has a power socket handy.
Great location! Right at the bottom of the big hill at Montmartre! Great hostel/hotel!
The hostel is really good and the people are very nice and helpful. It is a quiet place, there aren’t bars or parties inside the hostel.
The location was good.
There was very poor heating in the room. The rooms look much different from what expected from photos and it definitely did not worth the money.Definitely not recommended
Overall, it is close to a couple of tourist attractions, metro, bus stops and some supermarkets. Staff members are superb friendly and helpful, very informative as well! Bonus point, they are defintely multi lingual! Kitchen is spacious and you have everything that you need.
Powerpoints are not closed to the beds, 3 out of 4 were not working at some point and 4 travelers had to share a single powerpoint but glad that they fixed the problem a day later. Be good to have bed lamps provided as there is only main lighting in the room. Felt a bit suffocated inside the room when the only window is closed tight, as air circulation doesnt seem well.
