Opt for a Room with a View
Several guests mentioned that the views from the rooms were spectacular. Opting for a room with a balcony facing the fountain comes highly recommended.
Consider Bringing Slippers
Some guests suggested bringing slippers as the hostel does not provide them, and the floors in the rooms can be cold and wet after showering.
Check for Construction
Before booking, it's advisable to inquire about any ongoing construction work that might obstruct the view from the room, as some guests were surprised by scaffolding outside their windows.
Explore Nearby Attractions
Take advantage of the hostel's proximity to Sacré-Cœur Basilica and other nearby attractions, which are within walking distance and offer a great way to explore the area.
Be Mindful of Room Size
Some guests found the rooms to be small, so if space is a priority, it's worth considering this aspect when booking.
Consider Noise Levels
As some guests mentioned that sound travels easily in the hostel, light sleepers may want to bring earplugs to ensure a good night's rest.
Plan for Breakfast
While some guests enjoyed the breakfast, others found it lacking in variety. Consider exploring nearby cafes for breakfast options if the hostel's offerings are not to your liking.
Inquire About Bed Curtains
Guests suggested that adding curtains to the beds for more privacy would enhance the sleeping experience, so it's worth checking if this is available when booking.
Take Advantage of the Terrace
Enjoy the hostel's terrace with a view of Montmartre, which was highlighted as a pleasant spot to relax and take in the surroundings.
Consider Bringing a Power Strip
Due to limited access to power outlets in certain areas of the room, bringing a power strip might be useful for charging multiple devices.
