With narrow cobbled streets lined with boutiques, restaurants and bars populated by elegantly dressed Parisians, Le Marais looks like it belongs in a movie and it's here that you will find Les Jardins du Marais, a haven of tranquility in the heart of the city.
The hotel is located less than 100 meters from the Saint-Sébastien - Froissart station of the Paris Metro providing convenient and inexpensive access to rest of the city. Each of the Les Jardins du Marais' 265 rooms is air conditioned and the hotel offers free WiFi access. The hotel's 50 seat restaurant/lounge features furnishings by Philippe Starck, Art Deco murals and a marble floor. Spa and fitness facilities include a gym and steam bath as well as a professional massage service. The hotel offers a limo/town car service for guests wishing to explore the city in style.
You can spend hours wandering through the streets of Le Marais and many of the highlights of Paris are located within walking distance of the hotel. At the nearby Place des Vosges, a charming square surrounded by galleries, restaurants and shops, visitors can explore Victor Hugo's house. Also within easy reach of the hotel are the Picasso Museum, the Hotel de Ville (Paris' ornate town hall) and the Place de la Bastille, location of the Opéra Bastille.
Helpful staff. Large room by Paris standards.
A little too far from a Metro stop
My husband and I stayed three nights at Les Jardins on our honeymoon. We were very happy with our stay there. The location is perfect. The neighborhood is very lively on the weekends, with lots of restaurants to try out. There is a metro stop half a block away which allows easy access to all of Paris. The courtyard garden is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. We loved our room that overlooked the garden and it was quiet enough in the neighborhood that we kept our windows open most of the time.
Breakfast was a little expensive but had a good variety of things to choose from.
good located in town (Marais is beautiful) - nice young ambiance
Good location and decor for the price.
The air conditioning unit was very poor and badly situated - it was cumbersome and prevented proper closing of curtains. Breakfast service finished far too early and was far too expensive.
close to metro and bus
The hotel staff except a couple were not friendly. Most of the guests were not friendly, they were upper class people and looked at me and my family as if we did not belong there. The room was clean but did not worth 280 Euro a night.
the hotel was modern and beautifully presented. The rooms were comfortable and it was a pleasant surprise to find cooking facilties fitted in.
