Upon entering the Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador Hotel sleek columns and a chandelier hanging in the high-ceilinged lobby hint at the elegance within - an impression that only grows stronger when coupled with the luxurious rooms and first-class service offered by this hotel. Situated among some of the city's favorite attractions in Paris' opulent Opera district, the Marriott Opera Ambassador is the quintessential Parisian experience.
About the hotel
The fine-dining so closely associated with Paris can be experienced in the hotel, at the exquisite 16 Haussmann restaurant, where French classics are combined with international influences. The Ambassador's air-conditioned guest rooms are there to provide guests luxury and comfort, right up to a 700-ft Executive Suite with stunning city views, ideal for a special occasion. There are two metro stops right next to the hotel, connecting guests with the rest of the city and airports.
The Opera district is one of Paris' best known and loved areas, as is evident by the vibrant atmosphere around its many brasseries, cafes and theatres. The splendid Opera building is a local landmark and an architectural gem as is the nearby Synagogue de la Victoire. Light hearted but high quality performances can also be found at the Opera Comique, just a few blocks from the hotel.
Nothing except for location.
Poor breakfast, too small rooms, not cleanliness..
Perfect location, space (room and facilities), cleaness
Staff fighting between themselves during breakfast and not providing expected service for a 4*. Check-in too long because out of the 3 clercks only one could make the necessary credit card operations. Level of service not at the level of the SAS I go often in Brussels close to cathedral...
I liked the location, the staff and the rooms. All in all a very pleasant hotel on a good location.
The breakfast is too expensive. You can better go to one of the cafe's near by.
The Ambassador is a beautiful hotel with an excellent, staff. Their proximity to the Opera, the train station and all of the Paris sites make it an ideal location for a business or pleasure trip.
The location of the hotel was good.
The room was very small and old, it has not been renewed for ages. Bathroom roof and walls had apparently some mold on them, and the whole room smelled on mold when entering the room. The hotel is not worth the rate we paid for it (210e per night). Some personnel on the breakfast were very rude to the customers noting them about something had run out in the breakfast buffet.
