The Hotel du Parc sits right opposite a pleasant, tree-lined square in the heart of Montparnasse, an authentically Parisian part of the French capital with excellent shopping, nightlife and transport links. The contemporary 3-star establishment is tastefully decorated throughout with adventurous use of colour. The 3-star modern and recently refurbished Hotel Du Parc offers stylish rooms in the heart of the Montparnasse area, close to the Montparnasse train station. The 36 guestrooms at the Hotel du Parc are air-conditioned and equipped with modern en suite facilities and present modern and elegant living spaces. Breakfast is available in the form of a delicious buffet. Hotel du Parc is suitable for business and leisure guests.
Very convenient to the main train station in Montparnasse. Easy to walk to many of the points of interest in Paris, and also easy access to may metro lines to get you around the city. Hotel located on a quiet street. Great restaurants and brasseries located nearby.
The decor of the hotel (colour scheme, fixtures & fittings, etc.) was very modern and fashionable. The double room was quite spacious (compared to most Parisian hotels I have stayed at in the city centre), extremely clean and very quiet. I also liked the fact that I could specify (in advance) my preference for a room with a bath as opposed to just a shower - and actually got a room with bath and shower.
The reception is on the 1st floor, so you have to climb two flights of stairs with your luggage before you can check in. The lift is only available from the reception level upwards.
Design, cleanness, location and price of the room (when booked several months in advance!). I really like that hotel and I will come back in spite of the following defaults.
The breakfast is expensive (12.00EUR) but honestly, it seems to match the average prices in the area. The elevator (going up starting from the lobby) is very little (1 person + 1 bag) and it blocked when I was inside. The lobby/receptionnist is definitely one floor upstairs to the street (with no alternative but the stairs)
The location was great and the room was of an acceptable standard.
Not suitable for travellers with heavy luggage because the reception is a walk-up on the first floor.
We found the hotel very clean with friendly staff. The rooms were quite small but they were ok. The bathrooms was newly renovated and very nice.
Watch rugby, sightseeing, drink, Horse racing, tourist sites
This is an excellent little Paris hotel close to the Montparnasse Railway - in fact just a 5 minute walk. The rooms were excellent and nicely furnished. Overlooks a lovely small park and handy to great restaurants. Front Desk were very helpful and friendly.
It was just next to Gare SCNF and it was very convinent
There was no lift to get 1 floor up to the reception and we had to carry our heavy bags up, but the staff helped us to carry our heavy bags when we were checking out. Extra points for service.....
