Pros. For the most part it was clean and looked nice.
Cons. The elevator was wanky. Had a limited breakfast. The bed was just ok.
Pros. Comfort Inn. Pearl MS, just east of Jackson MS. Surprisingly clean and comfortable. Night staff was great. Dollar wise, it was a better experience that the more expensive Comfort Suites we stayed in the next night near the Tennessee state line.
Pros. The staff was very friendly upon check-in and there was a free shuttle to the airport.
Cons. The hotel was in a very bad location of Pearl, MS with nothing within walking distance (could no walk in that area). It had very dated and basic amenities with no added extras which I would have expected for the price. BUT the worst part was when the power went out for over 2 hours (at 8PM) and the staff did nothing! I still have no information as to why the power went out and the staff did not reach out to the guest at all to explain anything or have any sort of contingency plan if the power didn't come back on. So after over 2 hours of sitting in the dark, it finally came on.
