Pros: Stayed for one night on our way north. Lovely place, would highly recommend.
Pros: Friendly host, excellent breakfasts, advice on cycle routes and local amenities. Quiet location and close to Trans-Pennine Trail for walking and cycling. Off-road parking and space for our 3 bikes.
Cons: Can't think of anything
Pros: We loved how Paul had singlehandedly restored period features of the B&B, so cosy and quaint with an artistic flair. We felt really welcome and received great advice about hiking routes in the local peaks.
Cons: It would be great if there was shampoo provided in the bathroom. Everything else was perfect.
Pros: Lovely hosts Paul and Sophie. Very friendly, lovely room no great breakfast.
Pros: What’s not to like. We stayed at Lyndene as it was close to Cubley Hall where we attended our nieces wedding. The property was spotless and tastefully decorated. Our host Paul was extremely helpful and pleasant as well as a good cook. The breakfast had everything we wanted
Pros: The host couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Cons: It was perfect. No complaints at all.
Pros: Attention to detail. Spotless. Tastefully decorated. Very high degree of hospitality. Excellent Paul!
Pros: Very clean warm and comfortable perfect for resting up after a long wet day cycling TPT. Paul was the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was freshly cooked and the selection was excellent. This is a lovely area and we will certainly be coming back to stay at this property. Thankyou so much for making us so welcome.
Pros: Very good breakfast, spacious bathroom.
Cons: Very little in the way of places to eat in the town within walking distance of the Guest House.
Pros: New decor, externally clean and tidy. On the door step of Peak District. Breakfast was really nice and a good variety. Paul is an excellent host, very friendly and welcoming and will help suggest plans for your day if you unsure of where to go

Pros: Really nice breakfast . Lovely room. Staff very friendly.
Pros: Excellent Location and pleasant host !
Pros: very clean
Pros: Lovely clean property lovely couple looked after every need perfectly situated for our stay
Pros: Very clean bedroom and bathroom.
Pros: Location, owners, breakfast, price, in fact nearly everything.
Cons: Bed we had not long enough for someone 6'2" plus. Shared bathrooms, others are not always as considerate as you!!
Pros: Beds were comfortable & owner was friendly & helpful once she’d returned from holiday.
Cons: Breakfast was worst I’ve ever experienced- lukewarm tinned chopped tomatoes on 1 piece of cheap sliced BURNT toast. Helper was unfriendly, didn’t seem to know what she was doing & looked offended when we asked for 2nd piece of toast. No jam provided and TV on showing terminally ill girl & animal cruelty whilst we tried to eat the disgusting breakfast. We didn’t bother returning for breakfast the 2nd morning even though we had paid for it. To be fair to the owner once she returned from her holiday she was very friendly & helpful but the woman appointed in her absence neither smiled, or was helpful. She showed us to a room with a broken handle that came off each time we shut the door and is not cut out for hospitality. Lastly whilst we were happy to stay in someone’s family home our ‘deluxe double room’ had photo frames of family children which made us feel uncomfortable and numerous sharp parts from racing cars around the room that we had to avoid. No bedside light for 1 of the beds.
Pros: Lovely house and room
Cons: Couldn't stay longer
Pros: Bed very comfortable. Welcome and friendliness of everyone second to none.
Cons: Prefer en suite but facilities readily available.
Pros: Thanks Sara It was a great stay I love the place very much Very clean and warm
