Pick up took 50 minutes. I was told that someone had called in sick so the only lady there had to go clean each car before it could get rented. Then the manager came in and explained the car cleaner had hand surgery and was out for weeks (so the lack of car cleaner was entirely foreseeable.) They also told me they didn't have my reservation despite me having a kayak confirmation email with a Hertz confirmation number. It very easily could have been a lot better customer service.
