Not very good on communication before you stay as I left a message for the concierge to call back wanting advice on a tour but never got a response. Parking system is an issue as we were unable to get Out of the car park without buzzing for assistance when the machine could not read our ticket. Other than these little things the experience was great. Staff were lovely, food at the hotel restaurant was great and a good cocktail.
It's not the premium hotel it once was. In saying that, we had a great stay and would recommend any of the regency room packages
Pros. It was a well appointed hotel with great value for money.
Cons. A bit far from the CBD but the free bus service is right across the street.
Pros. The staff were extremely friendly, and I have to say that the staff at the bar were entertaining and freindly.
Cons. I am five dauys out from leaving there and I still have holds on my Visa card even though my bill was paid in full when I left . Initially I had two holds that equaled my full stay of $2800 plus the payment in full. Even now one business week later I have roughly $1400 in holds on my card. That is quite a lot of money to tie up.
